Review:

When I bought Forever After, I already had the previous one from Koxbox, Dragon

Tales wich is excellent. That's probably why I was completely disappointed by

Forever After. But the things didn't changed, to like Dragon Tales, you have to

listen to it many times, and so is exactly Forever After.Still very

psychedelic, the music from this group is very a pleasure to be listened to

so, if you do not like this CD, please, insist and listen to it an other time

before having a definitive opinion.Best Track, Insect&Insect Bite.

This was acutally released in 1994 on the Harthouse label. So this is Koxbox'

first album. And it's fucking awesome. Already in 94 these crazy danes created

something so unique, that it's still ahead almost all new releases. Only a few

other artists and of course Koxbox themselves can match this album and manage

to create something so PSYCHEDELIC, intelligent and beautiful. This is a

masterpiece and for every psytrancer this is a must-have. Otherwise you'll be

missing one the milestones in the history of Goa And Psychedelic Trance! Get

this, listen and learn... P.L.U R. - Psylent Buddhi

Oh, so this is Koxbox first album. Thanks for the info, Moksha :) This album is

not as perfect as Dragon Tales, but is quite good. No bad track here, my

favourite is Insect And Insect Bite. Latest album of Koxbox, the great

unknown, is really different, and for now I don't like it at all, so if you

find it, beware !

I love this album. Even though it's trance, it still has this chill-out

mentality and I think it's especially great to listen to when I've been

twisted into a knot by all the dark and harsh trance I listen to nowadays.

It's extremely trippy, but still very clear and this album presents me with

fabulous scenes and emotions. Though I think it's more a listening album,

every track is also great for dancing. The sounds just beg you to explore the

space around you by dancing and moving your hands. All the tracks are good.

The last track is the only real party stomper (made with Cwithe). The

production is excellent and everything fits perfectly together (as always with

Ian Ion). There's really no bad word I can say about this album. 9/10.

Nice overall, and stunning for its time, but sounds pretty old now. I wouldn't

play anything off this anymore, probably because I couldn't get a hold of it

until last year (1999). I imagine it's the sort of thing that you had to be

there to enjoy to its full potential.

It has its moments, although don't totally believe Matsuri's hype that its 1 of

the most original goa albums in existence. KoxBox have evolved, and thats a

good thing.......7/10

Orginal psychedelic trance from denmark . I really love Koxbox's album no:3.

This is Koxbox first album , it's from 1994 ..old stuff , but it still sounds

very nice. It's doesn't sounds as "The Great Unknown" album... but it is OK.

In 1994-95 this album must been amazing. If u'r a Koxbox fan , u should get

this ... if u'r not , STAY AWAY! i give this album 6/10 !

Excellent album!!! groovy and so well balanced!! this is oldstyle psychedelic

house music that is best played in open air with lots of happy people grooving

their ass off!! This must have been out of this world when it was first

released in 94/95(?)!! For anyone that loves Koxbox and is into abit of the

oldstyle sounds buy it (and that is an oreder!) 8/10

Purchase this if you're interested in exploring the roots of psycehdelic/goa

trance music. It sounds just a tad bit dated (especially compared to The Great

Unknown) but fuck... for a 94/95 release... this album is simply amazing.

9.5/10

You people only think about the time it's made and whether it's dated, IT IS

EASILY ONE OF THE BEST PSYCHEDELIC TRANCE ALBUMES EVER MADE !!! Be

objective....not subjective...tracks 2,3,4,5 are absolutely AMAZING....

Yes, it really takes some time to like this album...But if you did like it one

day then it becomes one of your all-time favourites. No doubt the best track

is Insect&Insect Bite. Point of no Return is also nice.

8/10

This has got to be my favourite Koxbox/Psychopod release sounding as exciting and fresh today as it did in 1995. Everything works to perfection here. While I sometimes find Koxbox/Psychopod releases challenging to decipher and therefore more suited for "listening" purposes rather than dancing, the sounds of Forever After spiralls right into my mind and feet. I can trip equally well in a comfortable chair as go mayheem on the dancefloor with this baby and opening track Point of no Return has the perfect title. Once on you need to hear it through ...

Favourites? Impossible to pin out. All!

A magnificent 5/5 stars if there ever was one. Essential.
