Review:

Contrary to many of you, I didn't like the Synchro style before. Now I

like it! Briefly, all the tracks belong to a groovy line of style,

very clear, with simple and efficient sounds. No full-psy style

here. Sometimes you remind of the former album, but this is different in

some ways. It's simple, and THE feeling is there. The goods sounds are

always in the good places at the good time. A really good trip in your

mind. Well well well. What else to say? Buy And listen. My

favourites: 1,2,3,6,7 PS: At the first sight of the tracklisting, you

could say: "what? 3 tracks are doubled?". Yes, they are but it's worth it.

when a track has 2 versions, you really have 2 feelings expressed, and each

remains accessible to the sofa or to the dancefloor. It's an interesting

research. Those are definitely NOT remixes "to fill-in the CD". mmmh.

good: 7/10

Boring, too simple. The first track is okey though.

I saw Synchro live at Amager in Denmark at New Years Eve 2000.

Their first albums is much better IMHO!

4/10.

WOW! AIIIIIIIWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!! An album charged with

simplicity, energy and minimal music. Synchro has really evolved a lot since

his Science Friction album. Now the breakbeats and ala Eat Static samples are

gone, and he has focused on the power of the bass drum. DRUGS and COCA-COMA

are both amazing mind-drilling tunes. Less goa oriented but still fueled by

tons of psychedelics. Good Work! 8.5/10

Did the track DRUGS(hard but also to a lesser degree soft) need that sample

used so excessively. I don't think so. He makes a point but its a point that

doesnt need to be made with music. Beyond that its quite a good album with a

fresh synchro style and pumping trance kicks from start to finish. 7/10

I saw him play and half of the songs he chose to play in his set had blatant

drug samples. quite enjoyed it tho ;)

German stuff! I didn't know what this was before i got it. The cover art was

cool ..and i bought it. But this was a boring album. The two "Foxhunt" remixes

is very good !! but the rest of the album is boring. "Coca Coma" was ok to.

Don't buy this album ! 4/10

Very bad album in fact, It is simple, pretentious and stupid at the times. It

has 3 good songs( 4,5,7 ) but the rest is pretty dull and with auwful voices

all through... If you want to play this music to someone , the best thing

would be to play on some kids party or on some home party cause it won't work

nor on the dancefloor nor as home listening. 3/10

"What is it all about? Sometimes you can't get it right. I'm fed up with waiting for something to happen. I don't like this."

Number one...shut the f*ck up. Two, you just described this album to an absolute T. People have said pretentious and that first track is surely that. And for those saying that you should buy an album for one track? Are you f*cking serious? I realize that this album came out before iTunes, Beatport, and Amazon so you get some slack, but I wouldn't do that for the Pleiadians much less an album that is as weak as this. Some of the samples are cringeworthy and dangerous. After hearing Drugs, I began to think, "You know maybe I should be taking drugs!"

See. That's dangerous. This album should come with a picture of Amy Winehouse hi fiving Whitney Houston. Say no to drugs kids.

The music is more on the minimal side and that's par for the course for the year 2000. Boring is an accurate adjective unless minimal is your thing. And if it is your thing maybe you're boring. Or possibly you just like your music simple and uncluttered. If I had to pick a favorite it would be going to the bathroom and taking a dump when it was over. For me this was a gift and I'm always appreciative of someone's generosity. But having given it a thorough listening, I can honestly say that there is no reason for me to hear it again.

Unless I get a craving for that glass dick.
