Bad compilation of distance (the worst of the whole collection)!! Only 2 good

songs on it, but those 2 songs are really killers!! Tandu (Ofer...) shows us

some pumping Goa-trance and Hallucinogen together with D. Trevor (Green Nuns)

give us a strange but beautiful song with celtic instruments!! (specially the

last part!!)

The other songs are quite boring or they have a Breakbeat, so not good to

dance!! Bom Shankar

This comp. contains one extremely good track! That's Amtinaous with the track

"Eveil"! Actually I think it's one of the best tracks I've ever heard. The

percussion is complex and kind of tribal. Beneath the layers of beats,

breakbeats and various percussion plays a lot of intricate, intelligent and

psychedelic sounds and melodies that's just drives you beyond sanity! This

track

is so trance inducing that I can hardly beleive it! Amazing! Ever since I

discovered Amtinaous I've desperately been looking for other tracks from this

act, but so far my search has brought no luck. Anyone out there know something

about Amtinaous, then please share it with me! P.L.U R. - Psylent Buddhi

Various quality on the tracks on this comp... The best on is no doubt track 1.

Absolutely awesome, wonderful GOA at its best. Also liked tracks 7 and 9,

interesting tracks. Those three tracks make it worth the money(actually, track

1 would be enough). The rest are not bad, although I was a little disappointed

with Miranda, who often releases good, high-quality music. 8/10 overall

Pretty average really, only first and the last track deserve any note, also

really dissapointed with the Miranda track. Jiggle of the Sphinx has a

fantastic ending, like nothing i have heard before. 3/10

i like breakbeatz.... so trax 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 were the highlights.... i also had

every other track already so they all sucked on this. Even taking the breakz

into account, i only give this 4/10 b-cause of freedom of speech

Quite good compil but less good than the D to goa 1,2,3,4,5.

There are 2 excellent tracks :{Alien pump of TANDU} & {Psy.jungl. of CYPHER-O}.

Others good tracks : {nuclear f.} {year 2000} &² {jiggle of the sphinx}.

The others tracks are boring.

My rating : about 6/10

The traxx I always come back to are the amazing 1,5 & 9 (read above for info),

tho the other traxx aren't as bad as the other reviewers here say. They're all

pumpin', and the CD fits well into the shelf along the others. There are

better distance cd's, tho...

This one wasn't a waste of money for me, 1 reason: I found it really cheap! I

think the Distance compils are loosing their quality with each new release

they bring us... a pitty... (because Distance 4 was a piece of art for me!) I

agree with Anoebis: Jiggle of the Sphinx is simply awsome with the happy

celtic melodix! and Alien Pump is good too... But you'll have much more

pleasure if you get yourself the TANDU MULTIMOODS alb + ofcourse HALLUCINOGEN

THE LONE DERANGER!!! 6/10...

Guest ?? slink ??

hmm, well its a bit different i'll give it that. but my advice it to buy volume

4 or 5 instead. you get twice the amount of music and they are much much

better thought out compilations. they rock! this was a rather large

dissapointment actually after the previous superb Distance to Goa cd's.

don't bother with this one.

Not the strongest effort in this series.  As many have said, the  Tandu  opener is king, the Miranda track was disappointing, but I was pleasantly surprised by the breakb eat track from Funkopath.  The real psychedelic treat though was Psychedelia Junglistia.  Eerie atmosphere, punchy bass, and jungle percussion.

There are two camps...those who like the Celtic melodies in Jiggle and those that go full Scott Summers and laser eye everything in sight.

Yeah this one came in quite weak after the previous entries in the series which were all solid. And it's particularly noticeable since vol 4 and 5 came with double CD's. The artwork looks great style-wise. But they should've skipped the stock photoshop lens flare.
