I would never not want to hear this. Ripping psychedelica. Its weird, but isnt that what being trippy is all about??? Guest Mescalinium Posted August 25, 2001 Share Posted August 25, 2001 While this album was very ahead of its time (I believe it came out in 98, or at the very latest, early 99) it just doesn't seem as fresh or exciting as it used to. I still dig Calculus and Short Circuit, but as a whole it pales in comparison to his later work like the Lex Rex Perplex/Errorhead EP and Idiot. 6/10. Cryptic Crunch has the most insane sounds collaged together perfected. All the tracks are fucking brilliant , It is Electric , Psychedelic , Trance with heavy basslines and excellent drum rhythms. Best tracks SHORT CIRCUIT(the best),Nervoservo,Alkaloid and Cryptic Crunch. I've been listnin to goa trance for more than 10 years ( juno times..), got about 400 cd's of psytrance & i'm into minimalistic, progressive & full on psyche stuff as well but THIS SUX bad, & it's BORING as hell.. Just imagine a couple of nerds playing with their comps in their comfy home on a dark swedish nite & you get the picture. I'd say amphetamine clunchin teeth tekno at its worst. Bought the LP after reading the first reviews above & deeply regretted it afterward. But boring can not be the right word..if this album is boring, most of psy trance records are not good and boring. You might not like Hux flux's style and sound colour? Well I did not really like it at first, but with years I learned to apreciate those acid sounds in parties..Dennis is good, man, and this album is to be kept for later reference if you don't like it right now.
