Review:

OK Track 2, Circuit Breaker, is really original and funny to listen to, but

this album is REPETITIVE !!!!!!

All Tracks are built in the same way !Nearly no variations in the drums from

one Track to another Track !!!

Moreover there are TOO FEW melodies (nearly just drums and bass ... Tracks

4,5,7 and 9 are extremely poor Tracks) !!!WHY did you build that Joti ?

If you want to listen to GOOD Psychaos music, I advice you to find his

previous Tracks (in compilations) which are much better and much more

psychedelic ! With TRUE melodies :-) Despite of all these bad points, there is

good work in the arrangement of these sounds ... the problem is ... the style

:-(

Rating : 3/10

hmm.. Must say I agree with you children... very repetitive. Drums + hi-hats

and some strange sounds in the background is what most of the tracks are

constututed of. There are some tracks that´s worth listening to.. for example

Sonic Chemist is pretty good with some full on style together with Esoterical.

Get this if you want.. I recommend other tracks by PsyChaos like: PsyChaos,

Keyboard Widow, Sound Beams with more.. You just CAN´T compare these songs

with this album.. the three tracks mentioned above are some of the best

goatrance you can find... 6/10

I think that cause and effect is a good but not really blasting album!I could

say that the bass is a typical joti bass which is never bad!I prefer his old

stuff as well!iI could rate it with a 7!

I disagree with you all.I thing this is the improved Joty style. It has the

characteristic bass lines that Joty always use plus more techno style that

Atomic likes to use and i love it.I find this very good and better than most

of his older songs. My favourite song is Mad lane...9/10

This is an amazing DANCE album, hear it on a big sound system and

your feet won't stop moving! Joti's style HAS improved and the sound used here

are immensly original. Mad Lane has one of the best b-lines ever created. SO

THERE! 9/10

Hallo! Joti is a incredible psy-pioneer.

This album is good, specially the hypno track:(Mad lane) but:

he have a huge of super tracks on dat which is dynamic

and real party stuff. I hoped to hear such kind of tracks after his first and

longwaited album, but pointless...He is a phenomenal act of the scene!!!

Pure magic! This album creates a hypnotic state hardly rivaled by any other.

Steady beat and rhythm create the effect, and the incredible psyc sounds

create the intensity. Best listened to loud.

This album has a strange power in my opinion. I think this is released for the

dancefloor, nice pumping beats with a progressive line-up... My favourite

track is 'flexual', " you don't need " :) acid to dance on this killar. it's

fresh and certainly for the dancefloor... psychedelic rating: 7.5/10 .cover

Absolutely love this!! First heard this in the record store (on full blast)

and it nearly pounded my head off. Thought I was in a club. This is

definitely one of those pounding, hard and heavy bass-lined psy trance albums

that is meant to be played loud. Really fun, danceable stuff here. If you

guys are around Psychaos, I'd love to see you live. (San Fran)

This is very good and strange album...it definetely describes cause and effect

of things. Joti changed but the change is good and very twisted...One track

only is missing something and that's the last track, but the name for itself

LAZY BEAT says everything actually. So, If you like boyish cute, dark realmz

of indian mind you should get this one....9/10

few others have pulled off what he was from 4am in the morning till 8am.

Yes, Joti set is definately one of the best SETS EVER...SO HARD, STOMPING,

PUMPING, DARK, CUT EDGE, MESMERIZING....I felt like a mad man on his

party...If you're reading this Joti, JUST KEEP UP WITH GOOD WORK !

Hard, metallic, clanging, clangorous, angry melodies, unforgiving, relentless.

These are the words I would use to describe this album; and all that I can add

is to say that it has been deleted from my collection. I wanted to like it,

but just don't, despite my appreciation for its "mental" aspects. 5/10 ~*~

strange album ... luckily this forum teached me to listen a new thing a couple of

times before rating it ...

So : at the first listening Cause and Effect sounded just boring and repetitive to me.

What mostly puzzled me was the relative slow bpm, so first perception

I have had was a slow drumline with noisy effects placed above.

At the second listening I realized that the "noisy effects" were cool arrangements

in which "industrial" patterns were teared by acid 303 explosions

or minimal synth landscapes.

At the further listening, illumination : Cause and Effect is really , I think no term

renders better than this, *evil*.

Evil, this cd is meant only to damage you. It presents itself minimal but then

it unveils very acid moments in which warping synths

float on some well studied basslines , with growing

flangered/distorted layers underlined by a chill but determined

drumline ... and the effect is that you pump up the volume, and

dance, dance , dance ...

Production is indeed very good : the "minimal" impact slowly

leaves place to acid sensations that

swallow you into a dark nebula ...

This is a cd that needs to be listened to the highest volume.

For solitary listening it's good but it may really hurt you , so better

share its evilness with other people on a dancefloor.

Only weak point I can find in this production is that in some tracks

it has some boring moments in which gets repetitive.
