Review:

Very pure cd... All songs are very well balanced and they all have a long

building-up with lots of nature or tribal sounds...!! Because of the long

building-up the most songs are really good...

They have spiritual influences but song 2-6 are also pretty hard!!

Song 1&8 are Chill/Ambient-songs!!! Best songs are: 1,2,4,5,6!

I hope you enjoy this magical trip!! Bom Shankar

An absolutely stunning, musical experience. The album is one perfect journey.

Starts out with an ambient track that leads into the funky and cool "Anawa's

Paradise". From there on 5 awesome melodic, atmospherical and uplifting pieces

of goatrance follows. It all ends with one of the most beautiful ambient

tracks I've heard. Breathtaking. Get this ASAP... P.L.U R. Psylent Buddhi

My energy for Jaïa has been renewed after seeing them live. Musically they must

rate as one of the more together and uplifting duos around and this Cd is no

exception. Can be a little bit GOAish and could be classified as new age

trance but still posseses the severity and power of great psychedelic trance.

Mai Mai must rank as one of the most beautiful songs ever and Anwars paradise

just blows me away everytime. A definite must have for those who appreciate

intelligent music and look forward to ANY new releases these guys are going to

put out. More like this please.

Blue Energy is the closest Man will ever come to The Perfect Album. This is a

sonic masterpiece. Rumours are that it will be re-released sometime in the

second half of 2000, on a different label. Start praying.

This is the most complete, well thoughtout, and composed CD i have ever heard!

Not because any track on its own is amazing, but rather because the whole CD

in a whole works perfectly. Every track is wonderfully mixed into the next.

Blue Energy is a true voyage. Starts out almost new age-ish (tho not as

commercial), and then gets more aggressive, to a point near the end when it

completely mellows down into the most beautiful sound scape you could ever

imagine with "After The Rain." The dancefloor tracks would have to be "Mai

Mai", "Nasty Angel", and "Anawa's Paradise." 10/10 =)

Trance, ambient and techno. I hope there will be a next Jaïa album.

No words can describe the feelings that comes in my mind whenever I hear stuff

from this album , actually I don't have this masterpiece , but I do have some

stuff on MP3. I'm gonne erase all those MP3s and buy this album , all those

gems blended toghether in a one of a kind album , indeed this is one of the

most beautiful , unique , special , magical , straight from the heart kind of

Trance I have ever heard (and I heard alot). This is Trance made from the

heart and the soul , if I could cry i would do that (it's really ashame I

can't cry...) , whenever I hear Jaïa one thing comes to mind:Peace Love Unity

Respect.

This has just been re-released by Yellow Feather Records out of Japan,

available NOW (10/2000) from Spectral Psychedelia at www.spectralpsy.com. And

better yet, it comes as a 2CD set, with Blue Energy the first CD, and Blue

Synergy as the second. Have only listened to it once, and I do like Blue

Energy as a chill-type CD. But Blue Synergy is even better! It's more upbeat,

faster paced, every track is suprisingly GOOD! My suggestion: GET IT NOW while

they have it... you won't regret it!

one)... the new album has certainly made this group as one of my favorites...

What an album!!!!! the new release on the japanese label, is awesome. It

contains the old Blue Energy and 6 out of this world bonus tracks... Just put

the Blue Synergy (bonus one) on and get ready for a psychedelic journey...

this is trance at its best and after a really long time too... this album just

simply blew me away.. I went for their live show along with space tribe in New

York and I must say they rocked the place.

Their style is simply fabulous and multi dimensional. they play a wide variety

of music, my favorite tracks on the new cd are 1,2,3,5..,.

bom!

With these very trippy sounds, and its very melodic ambiance, Jaïa gives us a

damn beautiful album. The sounds are so freh, and pure that I can't stop

dreaming during listening to this album.

distinguing the tracks wouldn't be interesting, what you have to know is that

this is superb, magic, and uplifting and its entirety. It's always the perfect

meeting point between goatrance and ambient,-goatrance because of its power,

ambiant because of its unwindness- wich make this albim being a pure

killer.9/10

I got the Yellow Feather 2CD version (Blue Energy/Blue Synergy). I wish I'd

got this in 1998, before I'd got tired of the melodic movement so I could

appreciate it better in its proper context. The first disc is nicely

constructed, but still shows its age. Mai Mai is probably the best track on

there IMNSHO. The second disc sometimes sounds a bit old-school (pre-3D

Vision) French (supersaturation with cheesy Greek-style melodies with very

overused high-hat, think 'trance on a Vespa'), but also features the gorgeous

tracks 'Sentences to Heaven', 'Kannibal' and 'Meditation'. The record is

worth buying for these tracks alone, and the rest you can play for your kids

if they wonder what the good stuff sounded like back in the 20th century.

I change my mind a little and now I prefer the slower tracks, like Sommeil

Paradoxal, Breathing Ocean, Maï Maï and Spiritual Drops. And Maï Maï has

become one of my all time favourite song : just listen to it and smile :)

Beautiful Melody. 9/10

I love this, pure goa spirit. Old melodic elements and a nice production. This

sounds old but in a good way. If you like oldstyle psytrance/goa and don't

like minimal shaznat, buy this. ( it makes you go mental). It's also very

dancable and contains some real melodic elements. THIS IS GOA 9.2/10. I can't

name a bad track. Nuff said, listen for yourselves.

from start to finish, it's a psychedelic journey....the whole structure of the

cd reminds me most of x-dream: our own happiness. this is ofcourse very

different, and truly psychedelic.....should be placed on your mantle piece.

these guys are brilliant, putting together this masterpiece is unbelievable,

it's so well rounded and encompasses so much. my favourite is track 3, then 4,

then 5....this is the mayhem part of the cd...well not mayhem, but this is

IT.....it's what u look for, and when it comes...hmm...just hang in there,

u'll make it, hehe. 10/10.

Such absolutely beautiful melodies. Jaia always brings a HUGE smile to my

face. I don't think I've ever listened to a CD that is so uplifiting, and

harmonious. A fantastic blend of ambient music, and trance. Every track is

an absolute joy to hear. This album touched my soul - I've owned it for 2

years, and I still listen to it regularily. Absolutely beautiful album, buy

it NOW! 11/10

I forgot to mention. After the Rain has to be one of the most beautiful tracks

I have ever heard. You can't find sweeter melodies, or more soothing and

relaxing sounds. This track is the essence of your soul. Jaia is truly one

of the greatest musicians of the 20th century. How does he dream up such

beautiful sounds? I won't ever understand. He's been given a gift! PLEASE

MAKE MORE JAIA!!!

hmm, well well well... Jaïa sounds much more New Age than Psy Trance to me. You

know, the kind of comps you find in your regular recordstore to help you

meditate, with nature sounds and the like. Nice, of course, but no trace of

the insane distorted melodies which make me love Psy Trance.

New Age Rating : 8/10

Psy Rating : 3/10
