This is the new compilation from the french label and get ready for some aggressive stuff, similar to the previous 3D releases.

Just like the previous 3D compilation Killers Inc., this one opens by Absolum with the second version of the Take Off track. The original was a typical Absolum track, really nice but a bit slow (140 bpm). Version 2.0 is a bit faster, not insanely furious though and it has similar sounds and samples with the first version. The Absolum basslines together with the well known CPU sounds make this track a real dancefloor smasher. The main difference between this and the V.1 is the two new melodies, the first one around minute 3’30’’ which is a groovy line and happier than the usual Absolum stuff. The second melody is the final one, which hits you with an amazing climax. Since Absolum ain’t known for his climaxes, this is a good surprise. The last minute is really intense, but the melodic part could last longer. Very ggod track, definitely better than the original.

Next come the Species from Serbia. This is more in the typical full on formula, but faster. The bassline is really groovy and fast, but nothing is happening in the first minutes besides the well know full on sounds and farts. Fortunatelly at minute 5’ we get a melody, simple but really nice and groovy and a nice climax. Too bad it’s the only melody in the track and you have to wait five minutes for it, but it’s a nice track and much better than the crap I thought I will listen. Nice one.

Track 3 from Theoreme, a Japanese artist. Theoreme’s style is more 3d Vision-ish than the most of the artists here. It’s harder and more aggressive than the usual with nice melodic lines and really intense. If you liked his album, you will love this track for sure. The first minutes remind me a bit of his track ‘Nom’. Funny sounds and furious melodies combined together in full power, letting you wonder to smile or to dance. It’s not his best track and it’s a bit simple compared to other tracks by him, but it’s very good.

Next is Azax Syndrom from Israel. Azax passed three stages during his Psy career so far. First he produced pure Dark Psy, then he went to aggressive-night Full On and his last tracks are more melodic and clubby Full On. Thank God he sticks in the power side of Full On. Th first minutes are pure Azax fx madness all the way with some simple melodies and the typical melodic climax around minute 5’. The melody is not something extraordinary and definitely not dark. Breaks, climaxes and pads for the last minutes and you got a nice track. It’s harder than the typical Israeli full on, more 3D Vision style, but it can’t be compared with his previous tracks.

And time for full power from Chris Hoy. South African phat Psy! Powerfull basslines, fx madness to the max, phat snares and crystal production. The first minutes are more techno style, but after minute 4’ we get some melodic parts together with additional fast, melodic bass and power pads. After the climax the track explodes and getting more powerful and more and more! The last minute is pure psycho-chaos. Best track by far!

Wizzy Noise, another group that change its style. From the dark tech-trance of 2001 to the pumping Full On of today. 3D is furious and really uplifting with an amazing minute (4’-5’) of pure euphoria and more screaming sounds after that. Full On to the bone, this is a pure Psy killer, ten times better from any Israeli fluffy Full On around. Kick-ass track.

Next are Sirius Isness, one of the most popular melodic Full On acts today. The opening melody is 100% ethnic old school style, but the track is still Full On. Fast bassline and annoying samples and a screaming, kinda distorted melody. It’s a melody you’re going to love or hate. I like it, reminds a bit of the old days and it’s one of the most interesting Full On melodies I’ve listened in 2005. These guys have the talent, they like melodic Psy, but they have to evolve their sound, cuase they are typical full on. We want more madness and spirituality and more melodies, but it’s a good track, hard and uplifting.

The 3 Mosketeers is a project of CPU and Inner Action. I used to love CPU back in 2003 but he has gone bananas IMO. The style of the track is too typical Inner Action… No imagination at all. Repetitive bass, annoying samples and lot of fx. It’s suppose to be powerful, but it’s not. Please Samy go to your previous style, we want your metalic, super-furious track, not this typical Full On formula. It’s not an awful track, but you have heard dozens of tracks similar to it.

And last Boris Blenn. Full On again, furious and a bit more colorful. The good parts of this track is the wild 303’s (or something similar) and some melodies, but it’s again typical Israeli Full On. This has nothing to do with the old EU tracks. There is no spacey atmosphere here, no liquid basslines and it’s worst than the Cosmic Experience album. Typical track.

So, if you’re looking for spirituality, ecsatic melodies or maximum psychedelia search somewhere else. This is full power for dancefloor smashing. I think it’s slightly better than Killers Inc., but much worst than The Sound Syndicate. Thanks to five very good tracks it deserves a 7.5/10
