u need Ejay dance edition :D

Haha, no kidding mate!

Well you can get a lot out of the waves diamond/gold bundle, its quite good plugins for optimizing the outcome.

you should also check UAD-cards or the Powercore card/firewire box out (expensive) they have some serious plug-ins too :)

You dont HAVE to buy a midi-comtroller, but if you are a musician as i, you def. need one. i couldnt imagine producing without keys to play on. Think about it, you would have to draw everything with the mouse, yak

They dont cost very much and becomes very handy in the lenght!

A good start could be; use reason as your beatmachine and do most other with good VSTi synths in cubase.

cant give you much better advises than just get some monitors if you dont have any, and start producing :)

thenx for your reply =3

haha i actually used to have ejay dance.... but after an hour or so, i understood that its not serious and "upgraded" to fruity loops.... i used to mess around in fruity loops but as i got more serious about producing i came to realize that i couldnt exploit my entire "potential" so iv decided time has come to get into the big leagues with proggies like cubase... but i had trouble doing basslines so i got reason 3 just in case ;)

im sort of a musician... i used to play saxophone beck in elementry school

and now i just mess around with an acustic guitar

i dunno if i can spend much on a midi controller.... are there any for 50$????

also what kind of vst does waves diamond/gold bundle have???

thenx a bunch =D

i do think u will be able to make much better basslines with cubase than reason...

get vb-l... works well for me...

as for waves, it's got a lot of good EQs, compressors, and more stuff..

i use it mainly for eq and compression...

its just that cubase is soooo difficult to use... i got the basics down though... i also wanted to ask if its possible to use my comuter keyboard instead of the midi controller, i meen as keys for the synth... is it possible someway?

u don't need a keyboard at first...

sure it is nice but if u have a limited budget u don't have to buy one now...

u can make music by puting in the notes with the mouse...

as far as using the computer keys as a keyboard, i don't know if u can do that...

Actually this is possible with a vst plugin (sorry, dont remember the name)

But i think the tones are layered very very weird - in comparison to a piano

you need Waves

it will greatly improve your sounds, and has quick, effortless mastering tool

and Sonic Maximizer is good for high end sounds.

you must also learn side-chain compression (with Waves)

as for more, i dunno... cuz no one in my area produces so i cant see how its done.

You can get midi-keyboards from around 100$ and up

Waves diamond bundle is the biggest and most expensive one ($3,900.00 )

Here's the full list
