What new music did you get today?

Tell me the music isn't as stupid is the cover. :wank:

I just got these in the mail today:

Crop Circles: Tetrahedron

Ra: 9th

How do you get images from Discogs to post? Every time I try, they just don't show up. Yet the ridiculous cover above is from Discogs, although I don't know where the image is from since the URL is different and it's not even the same image (the main one on Discogs isn't as yellow).

Well I guess that depends on the listener and the timing by the listener! :P Sometimes I feel its a bit stupid and other times I love it :D

ED: I quite like the cover, especially the inlay and the CD print  hilarious!

The cover is from psyshop and the link is for discogs (the link is "tilted" with the image).

ED:

How does this compare to Orichalcum & The Deviant? If u have that one.

Yeah I got that too... I'm referring to the "Tetrahedron" album and all.

Plus another load of gritty & banging underground techno 12"... Can't be bothered to list them though.

Jared Wilson's Drug Related Stories is one worth mentioning, for sure. Already considered an item to hunt down with all forces. Beh, I'm too good at it

Well, the first three tracks are remixes of the tracks from their previous album, and I like them. The 4th track is really good, and the 5th is a really long but never boring killer track. Both of them are in the same strange outlandish style like everything else from Orichalcum. The last track should be listened to separately though because it's an ambient track, no rhythm at all. I personally love the track, but it doesn't really go with the rest of the album. It's just too soft. Overall their first album is better of course, but if you can find this easy and cheap, and you like their first album a lot (like I do), I say go for it.

Yeah, do buy it - it's very good. Same style as Orichalcum and Alienated, but on top of that it has that nice 'live gig' feeling. And the 5th track ("Elevation") is really awesome - it shifts, morphs, transforms for what it feels like eternity and no wonder, because it's over 21' long :)
