Egyptian Melodies

Scryden

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for tracks that more egyptian-like melodies than general oriental stuff you generally find in goa , the two example that came in my mind are RA - To Sirius and Psychonaut - SpiritWalker.

Another ideas or suggests ?

Well, a slow, eclectic chill-out CD with egyptian themes is Alien Soap Opera - Second Wave. I REALLY recommend it! :)

that track owns

Don't forget Invocation... a chilled, oriental tune from Anubis. Also check out S.U.N. Project - Sexdrugs and Acidtrance (hard stuff, but it'll make you belly-dance for weeks  )

Scryden, I think Holymen - Abra Cadabra is a tune of this type. In the main part of this track the melody is getting I colud say "Arabian", at least it reminds me of some Arabian countries, or something like that. ;)

Guest Le Lotus Bleu

for your egyptian sounding, more globally oriental, i think to:

Toires stuffs (maroccan sound to be exact)

Juno Reactor - God is God with singer Natacha Atlas

that's all i see currently <_<

shakta - lepton head (deedrah rmx)

And why not Shakta - Lepton Head, the Original version. Imo better egyptian vibe there with the SAME melody, because Deedrah uses this acid scream and it kinda lacks that "ancient" feeling compared to the orignal.

Most of the tracks mentioned here have indian melodies not egyptian. But delars is 100% right here. Moulii Karaki is 100% egyptian track,

one more is Sundog-Touch The Sun
