I was thinking lately about the new goa artists or albums of older one's realeased in the last 2 years. I can't mention many, so I'm asking you to help me. And it would also be interesting for you to discover something new, I think...

I mean the real goa albums with this special cosmic touch. So, here they are:

2003 VA - Blissful Moments (Tranceform Rec)

2003 Ethereal - Anima Mundi (Tranceform Rec)

2004 VA - Pure Planet (Kadgilia Rec)

2004 Ypsilon 5 - Binary Sky (Tranceform Rec)

2004 Filteria - Sky Input (Suntrip Rec)

Of course, I missed someone... help me to fill the list!

Thnx! =)

A lot of those are waaay too fluffy. As I remember, 'real' Goa could be pretty dark. Filteria album is nice like that. Hope to see some not-so-fluffy Goa out there as well.

cheers

"neo full on" is funny term =)

Actually, sometimes I like listening to some full on... Electric Universe is Full On for me and anything like it also is. But I've stopped giving much attention to compilations with Skazi, Astrix, IM, Xerox, GMS, etc.

...and yes, full on isn't what I'm after here...

yes, fluffy...

you know, cheesy.

gotta be careful with those melodies.

otherwise, the only thing differentiating goa from full-on is the bassline.

when there can be so much more.

its the feeling, cant you understand it?its not the bassline or the melody or the samples.its this fucking lost and forgotten feeling

211804

Nostalgia?

The thing is, almost no one in the crowd understands that feeling. unless you go play in a retirement home.

just trying to offer a different perspective here, you know?

the difference bettween goa and full on are the kick , percussion , lack of melodies , lots of noise , and full concentration on the bassline .

Electric Universe - Cosmic Experience is nice, but more FULL ON  then goa, imo

211708

he was talking about morning fullon with goa influences... not goa as itself and I think electric universe - cosmic expierience is one the best examples that you can give...

The ones that are more or less old school (altough I prefer melodic goa trance) influenced

In my opinion this list is complete...

2003 VA - Blissful Moments (Tranceform Rec)

2003 Ethereal - Anima Mundi (Tranceform Rec)

2004 VA - Pure Planet (Kadgilia Rec)

2004 Ypsilon 5 - Binary Sky (Tranceform Rec)

2004 Filteria - Sky Input (Suntrip Rec)

full on goa trance:

Infected Mushroom : Converting vegetarians (trance cd)

The Misted Mupped : From The Legend

Lemurians: Secret Message

Psydrop : Fantasy Seeds

Space Buddha: Storm Reaction

Space Tribe : Heart Beat, Time Stretch

Tellus 2 : Addiction

Talamasca : Zodiac

VA: Sundance records: sundaze (first half cd)

VA: Soular records: Breathe

sorry but I don't see any goa influences in Infected mushroom CV, lemurians - secret message, psydrop - fantasy seeds, space buddha- storm reaction, space cat- mechanical dream, the misted muppet - from the legend  ... & others I don't know but still suspect that there aren't...

If you want you want goatrance just look before 2000 cause your list is finished... hopefully 2005 will bring some more :)

2003 VA - Blissful Moments (Tranceform Rec)

2003 Ethereal - Anima Mundi (Tranceform Rec)

2003 California Sunshine - Sinking Sand

2003 Sundaze

2003 Zorba - Zorba

2004 VA - Pure Planet (Kadgilia Rec)

2004 Filteria - Sky Input (Suntrip Rec)

2004 Infinite Realities

2004 Talpa - The Art Of Being None

2004 Synsun - Symphonic Adventure

And 2005 will bring more melodies, don't worry, we (suntrip records) are planning a compilation now, Pure Planet 2 is being compiled too, and Muses Rapt now album is ready too now (with great melodic morning trance in the véry old style, emotional...), it will be distributed following weeks I think... Also tranceforms Fluorotonik will be released... And probably there is much more happing where I'm not aware off... And this is just for the following months, a year exists out of 12 months of course :)

this is great, isn't it? =)

the Pleiadians third album should also be released in 2005... there was such info @ etnica.net and some forums, I hope it won't have fullonish nor tekknish influences.

thanx to everyone involved in keeping it goa!

I agree with Anoebis, I've heard them few months ago and it was exactly how he described, full on/techno...Maybe someone can get into it, newcommer or whoever, but old trancer, NAAAH...
