  1. Hi dear friends, Here is my new album "Inner Space". A trip into Goa classic Trance. I hope you enjoy it. https://ankrosado.bandcamp.com/album/inner-space Nice trips, Ankrosado
  2. Artist: UX Title: Ultimate Experience Reloaded Label: KissTheSound Records Date: September, 2012 01 - Reloaded (Part 1 Reloaded) (144 BPM) 02 - Life Support Technology (Reloaded) (146 BPM) 03 - Chameleon (Reloaded) (146 BPM) 04 - Mind Over Gravity (Reloaded) (142 BPM) 05 - Alien Earth Activity (Reloaded) (120 BPM) 06 - Pure Intellect (Reloaded) (146 BPM) 07 - Dominion (Reloaded) (144 BPM) 08 - Space Puppy (Mix II feat. Syb Unity Nettwerk Reloaded) (148 BPM) 09 - Millennium Generation (Reloaded) (144 BPM) 10 - Master Of The Universe (Epic Mix Reloaded) (146 BPM) 11 - Chrysalis (Reloaded) (97 BPM) 12 - Dominion (Digital Frontier Live Remix Reloaded) (144 BPM) 13 - Children Of The Night (feat. Jan Rechberger) (145 BPM) 14 - Reloaded (Part 2 Reloaded) (146 BPM) "The future is one world...one thought...one mind." I used to be into comic books "Worst. Reviewer. Ever." Bet you don't say that to my face. Girl look at this body...I work out. Sure today it's cool with all the graphic novels and movies but that is a recent development. If you're into it now you're dark and mysterious. Not sad and lonely with a snacking problem. Hell these days everyone and their grandmother plays video games. It wasn't too long ago this was your champion. Not so funny when it hits close to home is it Poindexter? What's the point? Keep your shirt on Nancy I'll get there. This is Krys Kylven and if you are on this forum then you probably already know who he is. The beautiful mind behind some of the most twisted and dark goa trance ever made. If goa trance was a penis (I don't like where this is going) then it was at it's hardest in 1997. That was when the original Ultimate Experience was released assuming its rightful position next to the other greats of the genre. So what has Kris done to top it? How about remastered versions as well as some unreleased tracks? But wait...there's more. It's free. I know right? For those of us who missed the outer space carnival ride that was goa trance in the mid nineties and all the vets screaming for a remaster it's Christmas come early. 14 tracks including an intro and an outro as well as previously unreleased versions. If I could ask Kris a question, I guess it would be this. Did it hurt? Did it hurt being ripped away from your family only to be probed by your alien abductors only to be inseminated with their musical ability? Because normal humans can't make music like this. If this album was a superhero it would have the bludgeoning power of Thor's hammer and the uncontrollable rage of the big green guy combined with the intelligence of Mr. Fantastic and the alien quality of the Silver Surfer. I realize my inner nerd has become my outer nerd, but what music! We've all heard the classics many times, but never have they sounded so crisp. Driving and screaming it felt like you were in my living room. I could hear every nuance and contributing layer heightening the experience. There is just change after change making each track so lush and vivid. And it's one pumping futuristic cyber beat down after another. There is a reason this is a classic and with this fresh coat of paint its brilliance takes on an even brighter shine. Alien at its core with effects crawling in between dark melodies it's like listening to new tracks. Speaking of new or unreleased tracks (outside of the very ambient Matrix-esque intro and outro) say hello to Space Puppy II with Syb Unity Nettwerk (yeah still him) as it shreds meninges and fits perfectly on this album. Millenium Generation produced from an old DAT tape is more electronic chaos that maintains the sci-fi feel with eerie melodies and metallic textures. The Epic Mix of Master of the Universe is fine, but I prefer the original. Dominion ( Digital Frontier Live Remix Reloaded) is another mix I have never heard and I don't know if it is recent or one of the tracks they had lying around. Regardless it is another punishing addition to this man's legacy with its heavy industrial leanings. The final extra is a track called Children of the Night feat. Jan Rechberger who is the drummer of a metal band Amorphis. It's less goa and more industrial psytrance that makes me think of FLA or Front 242. That's a lot of praise heaped upon an album. It's worth it and then some as this is one of the most original works in the genre. Powerful, atmospheric, and melodic it doesn't get old. The fact that he offered this for free is a true gift to anybody who hasn't heard it. Is there anything that would take away from this outstanding work? There are some who argued that the cover is a mess (and I would've preferred the original), but with content that is this superlative you could've put a pile of dogsh*t on the front and it wouldn't deter me in the slightest. No brainer. Get this. Now. Ektoplazm Mdk
  3. Artist: Crop Circles Title: Lunar Civilization EP Label: DAT Records Date: June, 2013 1. Lunar Civilization 2. Antonomasia 3. Full Mental Jackpot (Pleiadians Remix) 4. Ghost Circles Crop f*cking Circles. Rising faster than an old man's erection on Viagra is the star that is DAT Records. This is a label run by Draeke that resurrects music from the golden age of goa trance that was unreleased or only put out on vinyl and then gives it the production values of today with new mastering. His 2 CD release of Etnica Live in Athens was one of the greatest gifts you could give an old schooler, but instead of standing on his success he continues to reach higher with his next offering. What do you get when you add Etnica + Lotus Omega? Crop f*cking Circles. Now this isn't his first date with this project. Remember the "lost" album Tetrahedron back in 08? So full of thick melodic layers he's been going strong ever since. And now we've learned that no task is too herculean. So it stands to reason that his long standing relationship with this Italian supergroup would continue to bear fruit. Like most of you I didn't have these vinyl EP's released back in 07 and even if I did what the hell would I play them on. So I had to make do with mp3's that I found on the net and I was happy to have them. But now I have the CD EP from DAT Records in its little cardboard sleeve cover and the planets seem to be back in alignment for this collector. The original vinyl EP from Auricle Records had just the tracks Lunar Civlization and Antonomasia. Awesome tracks full of spiraling melodies and complex layers to be sure, but then the CD version came out and it included the mind blowing remix of Full Mental Jackpot by the Pleiadians. But Draeke does you one better with the addition of a track I've never heard called Ghost Circles. It falls right into line with their crazy Italian style. Fast, multilayered melodies with tons of 303 goodness. To close this is another triumph for Draeke and DAT Records. He has succeeded in bringing some of the greatest goa trance tracks back into the light. The music sounds spectacular and keeps the genius that was Etnica alive. No longer do you have to shell out ungodly prices for this hard to find piece of goa history cause now he put it within everyone's reach. And you don't even need a f*cking record player, whatever the hell that is. Draeke you've got your had so deep in my pocket people are going to tell us to get a room. As usual in Submoon Records : The real Goa sound you know from the 90's! But the rest... is a secret... ok here's a tip : it's very 'hi-energy/meditative' ... stay vigilant! https://www.facebook.com/submoonrecords
  10. Yep it's in the works and the album is now in production . Stay tuned as I will keep updating this topic. The style in this album will be ... well... that kickass old school goa Amithaba Buddha sound?? The new sound is really good and i'm positive all the fans will be happy , love , cherish and treasure this new upcoming album like all the other albums i have made. No full on , no progressive , no new school and so on , none of those new styles as you see the most known bands changing it and doing it. (I really ain't changing am I? ) Nope , just all the way down Classic and Pure Old School Goa . The way it should be , the way of my Ancestors. Me and my Family wish to thank those who deeply love my music and have been supporting it with all their Heart and Soul. /Filipe Santos https://submoonrecords.bandcamp.com/ https://www.facebook.com/submoonrecords Disclaimer : This album will be for HOME USE ONLY. 13. Hi everyone, After having classified and listened quite "classic" Psytrance albums (old school), I perceived that I quite liked this particular sub-style. So my question is : is there still any "classic" Psytrance (with this fx driven Goa aesthetics) productions these days or is it a definitely dead style just as Proto-Goa ? For those wondering what it is => https://www.psynews.org/forums/topic/70402-the-psychedelic-trance-in-its-entirety Examples :

  16. Pavel Svimba – Space Babuska Album: Space Babuska Artist: Pavel Svimba Genre: Goa, Morning, Suomi Size: 163MB License: CC Price: Free and Donations Track List: 01 - Free Step On It! 02 - Space Babuska 03 - Cheese Garlic Story 04 - Bad Hair Day 05 - Narrow Shoulders 06 - Magnetic Fields 07 - Same Frequency Different Level 08 - Schrimp Cütter 09 - Pimputus 10 - Yellow Snail Man 11 - Lying Pyramid 12 - Fucking Brains 13 - Teknikal Problems Haha! This style is really happy and fun. I love it when people combine a funk atmosphere into the psychedelic spectrum, offering a really different way of developing progression throughout dance music. I can definitely dig each and every single track in this album. Easy to listen to, upbeat and chill, dance floor acceptable, and surprisingly brilliant mixes of funk and classic early psytrance influences blast through every guitar riff and goa tempo. It is so amazingly quirky and funky, offering a set of short and sweet progressive tracks. I have never really heard this “Suomi” thing before, but it is certainly something that can brighten up any day. Not only that, but the classiness in this offers replay ability again and again. I think I will always have this on my MP3 player, blasting it on my speakers while partying with friends. Some may think to themselves, “Oh, well, its just a beat against a typical funk background…” I thought this at first. After listening to the first two tracks, however, I realized it was much better than that. The producer puts in some really GREAT melodies mixed with unique and juicy psychedelic synths that go far beyond the funk genre. Yep, you heard me right, this is original funk. I didn’t think that existed. Combining famous styles is one thing, but combining famous style and making it your own with unique chord progressions and bootylicious baselines is another thing. That, and the instruments in this are all done amazingly well. The horns, guitars, and other conventional instruments blow me away. This album is simply a jewel and I can’t wait to try this out in my car. I want to see this used in movies, and if it isn’t I don’t want to live on this planet anymore. I find myself smiling at every track. I really want to dance. Hell, I really want to make other people dance. It’s just so danceable. I’m delighted every second, accompanied by a warm and sweet vibe that raises my spirits. It brings back a lot of classic memories of 90s Psytrance… now look what it has turned into! Don’t ever stop what you are doing guys, keep up the sexy work. 10/10 Download here on Ektoplazm (MP3, FLAC, WAV) - Review by FatKidWitaJetPak (Nick Sumbles) - Special Thank to Ektoplazm for the download bandwidth.
  17. It's always nice to explore the history of a certain sound. A lot of classic tracks from the mid to late 90's are mainly goa, or goa-influenced psytrance. A lot of times I'll listen to classics sets and be bored to tears with the lack of variety in some tracks. In this mix, I play a collection of weird music from early psytrance artists that broke the mold and pushed forward a style that was just a little different than everything around them. Note: A couple of the transitions are not so great, but it shouldn't detract hopefully. Also, if anyone is concerned about the Infected Mushroom track, think back and remember how boss Classical Mushroom was. Yeah, that's right.
