  1. Artist: Talpa Title: Letter From Vienna EP Label: TesseracT Studio Date: June, 2014 1. Letter From Vienna 2. Perfect Psychopath I don't think Goran even knows who he is any longer. And that's ok. A little selective alzheimers can get you outta some sticky situations. And right back into them if you're the United States government. "Wait...Iraq again? Yeah I saw this movie. It ends with a lot of pissed off brown people and some unwanted heavy petting from the TSA when I fly to Buffalo. Whether he's Talpa or The Riddler the man is simply a rock star. Probably touring the world banging hot chicks wherever he touches down. His previous albums and ep's clearly separated the projects. You knew Talpa when you heard it. With this EP however he's become a hybrid or a doppelganger if you will. The eerie melodies of Talpa coalesce with the funky groove of the Riddler on the title track. Beautiful stuff. He straddles the line between progressive and psy easily seen in Perfect Psychopath. Hell that track is all over the place. He's doing his own thing and keeping it entertaining. If you like his earlier stuff give it a listen. Beatport Mdk
  2. Artist: Various Title: Battlestar Label: TesseracT Studio Date: July, 2013 1. Atmospheric (The Riddler rmx) L-XIR 2. Voyager One COPYCAT 3. Gypsy Magic MOLOK, SUBLIMINAL CODES 4. Unravel FLEGMA 5. Highly Addictive LYCTUM 6. Rabbit Hole AQUALIZE 7. Flux (Lyctum rmx) ZEN MECHANICS, FLEGMA AND NERSO 8. Full Moon MIDDLE MODE, NERSO VS ZYCE 9. Unimation (Micky Noise rmx) ZYCE AND NERSO 10. Tune In SIDEFORM "I don't know who I am. I don't know who I am...becoming." You're Phil. And you work in accounting. Tesseract...my Serbian homies. Always ready to deliver some quality progressive trance. I would call this a solid release. Not my favorite, but it's peppered with good tracks and a few great ones. Nothing was bad and I was pleasantly surprised by the Mickey Noise remix which also happened to be my favorite track. Floating and melodic with a pinch of groove. Psyshop Beatspace Mdk
  3. Artist: Talpa Title: White Clouds EP Label: TesseracTstudio Date: April, 2013 1. White Clouds - Talpa 2. Spirits (Talpa Remix) - Zyce 3. Unimation (Talpa Remix) - Zyce & Nerso Goran continues to impress with his music. Whether he's producing as Talpa or The Riddler his attention to detail has always been something to look forward to. This EP is released on the progressive label TesseracT so you know what to expect. White Clouds has dreamy elements combined with the electronic throat clearing of almost dubstep in a very positive track. It's uplifting and wiggle inducing. The remix of Spirits is a long, unwinding bit of progressive trance that I would expect more from Zyce than Talpa. Groovy no doubt, but unexpected. Unimation is the final track and it is another remix that doesn't sound anything like Talpa. Great, but who is this guy? Let me say that I enjoyed this release for its melodic and drifting content. It's a perfect fit for the label and expresses their style very well. But this doesn't sound like Talpa. It sounds like every other Balkan making progressive trance. Quality of course, but nothing like the guy who gave us The Art of Being Non. His style under the Talpa moniker has been trending less towards psychedelia and more in the direction of something softer and less challenging. And that's what you get here. Good progressive trance that is melodic and uplifting. But it's not Talpa. Talpa doesn't make that music. If The Riddler is his funky project and Talpa was his psychedelic endeavor, then maybe he needs a new alias if he's gonna make music like this. Recommended for melodic progressive trancers. 4. Artist: Talpa Title: Disease Within EP Label: TesseracTStudio Date: March, 2013 1. Disease Within 2. You Again Goran Juric is back with another release under the Talpa moniker. It's getting harder and harder to separate Talpa from The Riddler and the fact that this is released on TesseracT Studios further cements that theory. The Art of Being Non was released almost a decade ago and was a landmark in psytrance with its dark symphonic atmosphere and psychedelic melodies. The next album...not so much, but he began to make a comeback with The Path released two years ago. Disease Within sounds just like the Riddler with smooth beats and that eerie vibe that suits both of his projects. Check out that chunky synth warble. You Again sounds more like Talpa with more frenetic melodies. Only this guy could make a simple falling synth riff that funky. So a very good EP showcasing the talent from Goran on the progressive and psychedelic side. Beatport Psyshop Juno Download AudioJelly Mdk
  5. Artist: Vaishiyas Title: Spacelord Remixes Label: Spin Twist Records Date: 23-03-2010 Style: Progressive Trance Tracklist: 1. Vaishiyas - Spacelord (Float Remix) 2. Vaishiyas - Spacelord (E-Clip Remix 3. Vaishiyas - Spacelord (Zyce Remix) 4. Vaishiyas - Spacelord (Flegma & Nerso Remix) 5. Vaishiyas - Spacelord (Ectima Remix) 6. Vaishiyas - Spacelord (Original Mix) The original Spacelord is a nice one, not your typical progressive. It's very melodic from the start but a little later it develops in to a tight and solid track in a sort of smart way. Good job by Vaishiyas, this German producer set the standards high with the original and now it's time for the guys of TesseractStudio to show what they can do with it. The first to remix is Float, making it very minimal. Now don't get me a wrong, I'm a fan of the more minimalistic music myself but at first this one seemed a little to calm. At the beginning it didn't do it for me, but I gave it a few more listens while concentrating on the song and it made me understand the track a little bit better. Not as energetic as the other stuff on this album but I love how Float left the melody alive and throws this in during the break. Not bad after all. E-Clip is next with a heavy take on the original. Straight away he comes in with powerful bass lines and super effective touches, making this track an absolute killer. One of my favorite remixes without a doubt. Zyce takes a whole different turn, giving things a bit of a tribal groove with the necessary percussion during the song. Still he's not forgetting to keep things very melodic and warm. Now the Flegma & Nerso remix is my ultimate favorite track of this release. It's a perfect mix of melodic trance, straight forward progression and stomping beats. Things are made a bit more spacey, after all the original is called Spacelord. Everything about this track is very intelligent and the brake halfway the song really got me going. Perfect floater, just this track alone is almost worth getting the whole album! Last but not least is the Ectima remix. It doesn't flow as smoothly and crispy as the other tracks and I must say I have heard better Ectima tracks and remixes. But never the less it's a fun little track in my opinion, with more of a darker feel to it. The whole setting and the way E-Clip, Flegma & Nerso, Zyce and Ectima appear in this album, reminds me a lot of the Multistop Remixes album, by Ritmo and NOK. One by one they basically deliver the same quality as on the other remix album and they stayed extremely loyal to there style. Not saying these remixes look just like the Multistop remixes, but they did exactly what was expected of them. Great job! Links: http://www.beatport....-remixes/222986 http://www.spintwist.de/
