  1. Artist: Aion Title: Scepter Of The Machine Construct Label: None yet I don't think, Maybe Kali Earth soon? Release: September 3, 2018 Tracklist: - 1. Scepter of Ra 2. The Construct 3. Insane Cyborg Aion is Norwegian trance producer who has gifted us with a 3 track ep with a range of different influences and styles. No matter what style is being used, you will hear notes of melody, with full body, low acidity, low tannins, rich buttery synths, with a spicy finish. Scepter of Ra - A proper slow intro has you unsure what this track is gonna be. But the beat kicks in eventually and the track really does develop beyond your expectations. Where'd you hear those eastern melodies in Norway Aion? Oh sure the internet. This track is a complete banger that I more than like. Without a doubt my favourite. The Construct - I guess we know what we are in for now so the dramatic intros can disappear. We have now entered blissful psychedelic territory and I don't want to leave. Insane Cyborg - You know from the second this track starts that it's gonna be some heavy full-on. It's fun to be right. I don't normally find much to say about full-on but after getting to like Aion's style in the last couple of tracks I am more than well lubed for this banger. The beat tempo changes, melody, synths pretty much the whole shebang is pleasant. Not once does the track get corny or predictable. I don't know what they feed you there in Norway. Wait yes I do, it's the Surströmming isn't it? If tinned fish that needs to be opened outdoors is what it takes to make great music then I'm ok with that. Unlike your fermented salted Herring I can take this ep with me on an international flight. It's available for NYP as the moment in Aions band camp page. https://aion.bandcamp.com/releases
  2. Artist: Psychowave Title: Chronicles ep Label: Spacedock Records Date: July 27, 2018 1. Elephants In Pocitos 2. Fight Like A Woman 3. Life Waves Psychowave has produced two tracks which have found their way into my favourite list. His ear for melody and production technique is a treat and sends me into euphoria every time I listen. The new ep comes complete with some pretty artwork done by Natan himself and 3 tracks containing plenty of funk. Elephants In Pocitos - Not as many elephant sounds as I was expecting but still a well produced song thats got a fat baseline and trip atmospheres abound. Fight Like A Woman - Yea declare a never ending battle that you can escape from at any moment but subject your enemy to at any moment at your discretion. Yea that’ll do it. Great trippy song with good development and huge drums pounding away. Life Waves - A quick lesson on waves and a great collection of melodies intertwined with one another. My favourite of the three but just by a hair. This aint no Sunshine Reborn, but a less melodic more psychedelic trippier blast into happy land. Well done to SpaceDock for their continued support of a great artist, who has managed to avoid the norm of the Brazilian psytrance scene and produce Goa blasters. The title of the album suggests more eps to come in the same vein, I'm looking forward to those insta-buys. https://spacedockrecords.bandcamp.com/album/sddg014-psychowave-chronicles-ep

    ZEE - Id.Entity

Artist: Zebbler Encanti Experience Title: Id.Entity Label: Gravitas Reecordings Release: June 5th, 2018 1. Id.Entity 2. ZEE & Woulg - Flesh Out 3. ZEE & Of The Trees - Let Me In 4. Trance Humanism 5. ZEE & Prismatic - Caverns 6. Journey To The Centre Of The Artichoke 7. ZEE & Hlafred - Immanent Flow 8. Id.Entity (Mr. Bill Remix) 9. Exit Stance From their website: Zebbler Encanti Experience (aka “ZEE”) is an audio/visual collaboration between video artist Zebbler and electronic music producer Encanti, based out of Boston, USA and Valencia, Spain. Remember the first time you got lost listening to Psytrance? Finding yourself in a state of complete bewilderment, unable to predict what was going to happen next, looking around for someone to share your confusion with, desperately trying to figure out if it would be ok to pick your laundry up a few days late? Or do they give it away after 2 days? No it couldn't be two days. They can't hold onto it forever though can they? whats the time limit then? And will they tell me off when I arrive or is it normal? whats normal though? Wait a minute is this the same DJ? Well thats pretty much what you get with duo ZEE. It’s a beautiful thing to find an album as completely messed up, crazy and unique as what ZEE produces. Whether you like the style or not their ability to dance between 4 different genres in one song so seamlessly is a worthy of a mention. From the entire Gravitas crew ZEE gets me moving in the most directions at once. The album cover accurately portrays their style, one look and you know you're in for some psychedelic madness. Psychedelic madness that will help you push 104 when you’re in a 100 zone, any track from a ZEE album will get you there. While the last albums I listened to from them Inner G and Freakquency were all about the drop with elements of trap and trance throughout most songs, here we get an even amount of glitch, bass, trance and trap, all heavily psychedelic of course. If your not a fan of the style I wouldn’t recommend listening the entire way through. But I’m sure the style or craziness of a few songs here might make you say ‘huh, what the heck just happened? Lets do that again'. Zebbler Encanti Experience has a way of making sure that you have no idea what's going to happen next and almost always pulls it off. Favourite tracks 4, 6, 9. https://music.gravitasrecordings.com/album/id-entity
  4. Artist: Fiery Dawn Title: Trip To The UnderWorld Label: Self Release Date: September 8, 2018 3 more tracks and you coulda had an album. No matter. Fiery dawn is at a sweet spot in his production. Not only is his output just ridiculous, with a 2018 album, another Ep, tracks on various comps, a bunch of down tempo while maintaining what I can only assume is some semblance of a life. I have a life too, it revolves around listening to banger after banger of Fiery D and others output. This ep takes a couple of tippie toes away from the space trance that Dawn is well known for. Trip To The Underworld is the most unique. Coming at you without a distinct melody you know you'll need something else to keep your attention. Fiery know's too, he doesn't fail and has me hooked from that wonderful intro all the way to the end. It certainly is a track that'll take you to the underworld. Next up we got Phantasmagoria. Acid riffs, hard kicks, a squelch or two and a solid baseline are here to carry us away to trance land. Other than a few key changes (which are starting to irk me) the track is absolutely wonderful and full of funk. Even on bandcamp I missed the change between this and the next track. The flow is unreal. But we aren't off the hook yet. Goblins and Trolls comes in even hotter and crazier. Fiery D has either expanded his sound box or developed his repertoire, or both. Either way he is putting it to good use here. The track gets real wild just after the 3 minute mark and it doesn't let up. My favourite here. A straight arm flailing stomper. Temple of Warriors Is a nice little downtempo closer that Fiery D does so well. The Ep is awesome, with a unique first track and two flaming tracks following it up I would recommend getting this on your hard drives. transfer it to your phones, mp3's, listen on the band camp app, what ever you want. I'll be bumping this for a while as I feel like you can hear a strong development in his production and ideas. Good work I do need to ask what the idea behind key changes are? Can I get some artistic input. My position is it disrupts many a good moment in a track making it feel like an unnatural direction change. That being said I get over it pretty quickly and do understand that some notes need a different key to work. But I do know that I've never listened to a track and thought 'This needs to change key right about now'. Grumblings of a guy on a forum. https://fierydawn.bandcamp.com/album/trip-to-underworld
  5. Hi Goa/Psy trance fans! :) My new Goa trance EP - Trip To UnderWorld, featuring 4 powerful mysterious tracks, is on sale at my bandcamp page now - https://fierydawn.bandcamp.com/album/trip-to-underworld Don't miss this release, you will not be disappointed
  6. Artist: Jayex Album: Soul Echoes Label: Surface Tension Records Release date: July 29, 2018 1.Intro 2. Tribal Shot 3. Hypnotized 4. Spiral Attack 5. Trancedance Mission 6. Soul Echoes 7. No Matter How 8. Switch On The Night 9. Cybrain Worms 10. Beyond Psychedelic Breaks and goa. Is there anything better? Is there? The innocence of childhood? New love? Friendship? All inclusive cruise ships through the Caribbean? Nope to heck with it all. I got what I need right here. So who is jayex? I haven't heard the name, a little digging got me a killer track on 'art from the heart chapter 2' great album BTW. Heřman Hasík is Jayex's real name, if it sounds like it's a name from the dark forests of the Bouzov Micro-region of the Czech Republic to you that is because you have an eye for the truth. Other alias is Smoke Visions. This albums boasts breakbeat goa and psychedelia. Does it deliver? Oh yea, but let's get to that now. Intro: Straight electricity entering the airwaves. Jayex let's us have a very little taste of what's to come. As always it could be longer but does the trick anyway. Tribal Shot: a hot track that gets better and better the deeper in you go. Vocals sit delicately on top of baselines and synths. At 135bpm I'd be happy to play this in a trance or techno set. Although the goa is distinct. Hypnotized: Jayex slows it down another notch with a heavy psychedelic number. Every aspect is super groovy and comes in and out at just the right time. The little offbeat\breakbeat part at the end of each break is really cool too. Love it. Spiral Attack: Sweet sweet intro, better than honey in my morning tea. And then BOOM! Didn't see that coming. At first wasn't a fan. But weird kicks always take me a little time to get used to. Sure enough by the time we reach the main break I'm well adjusted. 4 listens in I love it. Trancedance Mission: In it now with the Goa, or is it Proto? I Don't know I'm 25, which is still old enough to call something good, which this track certainly is. I normally don't go crazy for key changes but here it's not so bad. The song constantly changes direction and intensity with expert fashion, another great track. Soul Echoes: What does the title track have to offer us? How does a slow build into a climax of breakbeat sound to you? Sounds sort of good to me. A shorter track than the others, and honestly I was expecting something to happen after the breakbeat. You can't let the little things bring you down though, still a decent track. No Matter How: Some ocean sounds and spooky synths open the track up for us. Followed by another unexpected track. I thought the bass could have been jacked up a bunch in this track, instead it feels like something other than a track that belongs on this album. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it, but you know, context. Switch On The Night: Another techno'y track which is easy to stomp your feet too. The baseline is super freaky and soon has you lost in it. fairly minimal but what he Jayex uses he uses well. The outro is neat too. Cybrain Worms: The track title is actually pretty apt, this song is the closest representation I can find to cybrain worms. The breakbeat with that heavy baseline and the chanting in the background is just too hot. One of my favourite tracks. Beyond: Time to close the album and what better way to do it than a full Goa trance track. The baseline is funky, the synths are sweet and the overall vibe is just great. On a few extra listens this track and the intro seem to fit together well. Another favourite of mine. Overall I like the album a lot. The ingredients that Jayex uses to create each track he uses just the right amount of, a little paprika here, a little oregano there. The Breakbeat Goa combination is really hot and the slower tracks are anything but boring. I honestly look forward to hearing more from Jayex and think that this album is a blast. I thought the production of tracks 2 and 3 stood out as particularly good. Here is a link. Oh and you can pay as you please. https://surf10rec.bandcamp.com/album/soul-echoes

  11. Artist: Ephedra Title: What The Future Brings Label: Goa Madness Records Release: May 18, 2018 Tracklist: - 1. In Search Of Flying Saucers 2. Flying Into The Night 3. Twisted Keys 4. Machiavellin? 5. Savannah Monk Trail (Ephedra & Imba) 6. Cosmic Collaboration (Proxeeus & Ephedra) 7. Return To the N Life 8. Deep inside Feelings 9. Floating Souls Ok whats going with you bunch? Triquetra, Morphic Resonance, Sab Kuch, Lectro Spectral, Geomagnetic/Timewarp comps and the rest of the 2018 release gang (you're all great) and now Ephedra. You graduate from middle school? Finally got yourselves real jobs? Get yourselves married? Have a couple of kids? Cause 2018 has been a year of mature music. A year of well thought out, technical bangers that have got me hitting puberty. Now Ephedra comes in to bring to add a little extra flavour. To show that the big boys know when to hold back till just the right point, when to build but not explode, when to reserve their tracks to create anticipation, when to just make nice sounds and not stress about all the hooha. 2018 got us all grown up. In search of Flying Saucers - UFO's. mystery. space. aliens. New Mexico the home of the Roadrunner. The kick Is hot the leads are perfectly reserved coming in and out but never to insane. This is the patience Im talking about. A really really good track. Flying Into The Night - a little break beat introduces us into spacier and faster feeling track. The leads twirl and slice away in the back, being brought forward at perfect moments as the rest of the track balances out. The melody is infectious as its shot at you over and over again. The track is pure hyperspace listening material, put it on and before you know it you’ve reached galaxy NGC 7320 All Aboard Twisted Keys - we don’t slow down here, a short moody intro keeps the journey rolling. Little tribal drum taps in the background are beat out with the lightest of fingers before leads takes centre stage & zip us away. Once again Ephedra balances the elements and layers out with exquisite grace. Nothing in this song is monotoned & just as you think the frenzy has ended Ephedra takes it up a notch and finishes with some great knob fiddles. Machiavellian - Ah señor Niccolò, the espouser of the old greek and roman value systems as well as the man that had the personality trait of deceit, self interest and manipulation named after him. The only manipulation in this song is that of Ephedra’s tools over your brain. Ephedra darkens things up a bit while keeping a coherent flow throughout the song. A perfect track for workplace craftiness, backstabbing a trusted confidant and dancing in any dark location of your picking. Epehdra & Imba - Savannah Monk Trail - Love the choral vocals and the drums in the intro. Another cool baseline and kick combo then takes us off to a happier place where elastic leads extend in and out. More squelches, an elephant and tribal chants set this track apart from the others. Imba and Ephedra’s mojo works in fine balance with each other, proven as the track increases in intensity from start to finish. A fav Ephedra and Proxeeus, Cosmic Collaboration - I gotta say I was excited when I saw these two together on a track, even more so the the title suggested that these two came up with some sweet sweet hallucinogenic Himalayan Cliff Bee Mad honey for us all to sip on. They did, much more melodic than I expected while still completely psychedelic and of course totally banging, another welcome and successful combination of talent. Return to the N Life - A title that would also work well for an Ice Cube album, Return to the N life takes us back into the land of classic ephedra. Another mature track that despite not really standing out I would still play at any party, yea even my nephews 6th birthday party. Once again Ephedra shows a lot of skill with his instruments and thought in production. Deep Inside Feelings - Ephedra gets all sentimental and opens up his electrifying feelings to us. I love when he strips the baseline away, a metaphor for his struggle to balance an minimalist life with the pressure to succeed (I don’t know, sounds cool though). The song is hot hot hot but nothing prepares you for whats next. Floating souls - The closing track. What's it gonna be? Which way will he take this? Many questions and only one answer. Ecstasy. Ephedra takes us away from all earthly feelings and into a land of the beyond. I don’t know exactly what it is….Yes I do, the intensity, leads, melody, dreamy floatiness and all the other things that make Goa trance just so incredible. This goes up there with Experiments into some of my favourite Goa trance tracks of all time. That’s that, what I will call a perfectly balanced album. This is by far my favourite Ephedra album, the patience in the track development all the way to the actual track development really stand out here. It’s a skill that comes with experience and with 3 albums under his belt it seems like Ephedra is getting plenty of that. Like all good middle school graduations, Ephedra has matured his sound into something completely delightful for the ears. Big shout out to Goa Madness for their support of great artists and 3 big blasting Ephedra albums. https://goamadnessrecords.bandcamp.com

  15. Artist: Sab Kuch Milegator Title: Surrounded By Surreality Release: March 15, 2018 Label: Aint no Label could handle this (Self Release) Tracklist: Surrender to Surreality Intro Extrapyramidal Twerking On A Pyramid (RMX): Twistortion Rodeo Caramel Carousel: First you, then others & Third eye The Point Of No Yes No (Overwrite Engaged) Disorient Express Gringrinder The words ‘forest’ and ‘suomi’ never drop down in my Ecosia (Yea i save the trees) suggestion bar. One would have to assume that this is entirely due to me never having searched for those genre’s. One would be right. Then along came Klaus Akan Tea? Kaos Aiken Tah? Kana Nakan Tea? Kauas Aikain Taa! Its Kauas Aikain Taa alright. Along it came, it took 4 attempts over 3 months to wrap my head around it (I’m a slow learner), but once I got there it was well worth my time. Now Sab Kuch Milegator is back with the much more pronounceable and equally as danceable Surrounded by Surreality. With a front cover that the Astral Projection guy couldn’t fault, we are off to a good start. Surrender to Surreality Intro: Love me an intro. Love me an intro that lasts a bit longer and goes to stranger places. But this a niggly little niggle that we shouldn't dwell on. Still nice to have an intro to begin with. Extrapyramidal Twerking On A Pyramid (RMX): Did you know that Extrapyramidal was a real word? I did not. Slightly less weird than the original, i’d say more refined and a little less exciting as a result, first song of the album though so it’s really just warming us up. Twistortion Rodeo: Rick coming at cha, which is fitting because with more Rick comes more madness. Twistortion Rodeo delivers big time. Entrancing atmospheres surround you from start to finish. The 4 minute break is appreciated, always love a little broken beat. Caramel Carousel: SKM brings it down a notch with a slightly less crazy first act of the song. We got 9 minutes though, I wouldn’t expect it to stay this way. A more build focused track with some beautiful little background things going on. The voice samples, as always fit perfectly and before you know you’re lost in another one of Sab Kuch’s mental trips. First You, Then Others & Third Eye: ‘Oh hey dad’ ‘No, nothings wrong i’m just listening to music’ ‘No nothings wrong, yes this is music’ ‘Well everything is just sounds really’ ‘yea but the weird noises make melodies and create a rhythm’ ‘No i’m not trying to be clever’ ‘No please don’t send me back to the therapist! ITS JUST MUSIC!!’ ‘Well at least let me bring my headphones along’ This is the weirdness I like. Neat track name, neat little intro. A smooth ass track that’s really quite easy to get lost in. You could be forgiven for thinking that a 12 minute track could get old fast, today we forgive all. The Point Of No Yes No (Overwrite Engaged): Another great track name leads us into the darker realm of frequencies. What would we do without Rick and Morty samples? What would we do without Sabby K. The song really explodes into awesomeness at the 7 minute mark, love it. Disorient Express: My god these track titles are hot. Less twists and turns in this song but a solid Goa lead sits in the back throughout the track. One of my favourites. Gringrinder: The ultimate antidote to the bullshit Christmas cheer we all endure at the end of the year. Then again, Scandi christmas is a little darker than us out West (and the Fins, if we can really consider them Scandinavian, are the darkest of all. better sense of humor too). All these little social factors come together in this track. Also, you don’t hear a lot of explicit language in trance, which only just occurred to me now. Sab Much Milegator comes through with easily the most well planned thoughtful album to date. Negatives of this are you miss out on some of that suomi madness that we got blasted with in Kauas Aikain Taa, if like me you are the sort of person who relishes in confusion you come out of this a little less so. Positives (and there are many) are that for someone like Tsotsi, this meticulous crossing of genres creates an unrivaled listening experience. There's no point in me rating this as every piece of Goa I listen to sounds amazing to me. But what about Suomi and Forest? Well that’s a different story, no one i know (and i know three artists) nails this like Sir’ Kuch. The crossing over of genre’s, the patience, the vision in the tracks, it’s all there. I Insta purchased without regret, and based on the last two albums from the Milegator will continue to do so. https://sabkuchmilegator.bandcamp.com/album/surrounded-by-surreality
  16. I was wondering if people would be willing to buy/pledge towards an Elysium Box Set in the same vein as the previous Digital Reprints releases. That would include his live versions, the EP's and maybe a couple of unreleased. That would be 3 cds with the option of a 4th with downtempo material. For me Kristian is one of the best Goa artists ever and his live versions are mind blowing and long have I been dreaming of having those on a physical format. However I am aware with the issues in his Kickstarter campaign. The big difference is that this one would be run by me, having already secured the Files before starting the project. So my main question I guess is would ppl feel inclined to "punish" him for not delivering (yet) what he promised or would your priority be the music?

  19. Hi dudes, thats my latest track, started as a joke about some stupid story that a friend was involved in, thats why it called that way and thats why it so serious and dark and has those silly vocals , but what I like about it is that for the first time besides the Kick Bass and the Piano every single sound is a sound I created from scratch, it would be nice if you could give a listen :).
  20. Artist: Merrow Title: Hybridization Label: Self Release Release Date: January 28, 2018 Tracklist:- 1. Hybridization (Lemon head mix) 2. Squid in your plate 3. Buddha's awakening 4. Floating city (Morpheus mix) 5. Xenomorph Prime 6. Cosmic Comics 7. Space Jockey (Speed light mix) A collection of new and old tracks made new again coming at cha. I of course haven't heard any of these before so to Tsotsi they are all new. We are assured plenty of acid and big leads, on that front Merrow delivers big time. The Lemon Head mix of Hybridization doesn't waste any time giving us what is promised, with a thumping kick and wild electro leads being held back until just the right moment before they are released into an explosive climax. one of my favourites on the album and a great way to start. Squid on your Plate comes in hot with more acidic bubbles than the Black Triangle. The main melody soon takes centre stage and throws us into a fit of arm flailing madness as Merrow works his tools. Almost and anthem Squid on your plate does the job and ticks the 'melody stuck in my head' box. Yes We Can Buddhas Awakening is just what you need to stir the great Gautama out of his meditations. Although it would stir the Siddhartha right into another plane of ecstasy. The song explodes at 3 minutes, I love those Astral Projection Enlightened Evolution sounding Vvraaarps. (Of course AP don't own that sound I just don't know what else to describe them as). Another stormer of a track. Morpheus does some work on Floating City not wasting any time with silly intro's. It feels like the track might progress a bit slower than the other but that would be a mistake to assume. the leads build and build into a new melody comes and takes over while the old leads slash away in the back. Pretty epic and a little less conventional (in a good way) than some stuff out there. The song twists and turns right to the end and with every bit being enjoyable. Goa baby. Xenomorph Prime is a mix of Bobo the ape pushing the space buttons to make noises and more of the hectic leads we've had so far. it works well and slays along until it turns itself into one of the most memorable tracks on the album. We get to bounce along to Cosmic Comics (Great song name) nice and early. I'm getting use to knowing what to expect and sure enough another anthem surrounds us. A little less variety than the other songs so far but still plenty to make me smile. Space Jockey comes in with an epic intro to take us home at the speed of light. The kick is not really to my taste but these things generally fall back into the track as leads come in. it take a little longer than normal but finally the tracks other elements come in to keep me engaged. It's probably not the fastest track on the album but it sure feels like it. Everything comes in at such a flurry of epicness that I can't catch a glimpse of what is going on. Entrancing me through the pure speed of the track. Merrow delivers us a hot album of tracks with exactly what he promises. Each track is baked to perfection, crisp on the palette and refreshingly zesty. You could say that the tracks are similar to one another, but you could also say that post modernism has created a world devoid of truth and meaning. You'd be better off saying that American college students can't spot a hammer from a ratchet and simply don't know which tool of philosophy to use for the job at hand. Any whom, Merrow comes in remind us all exactly how epic the anthems of this genre are. The songs don't go for to long and never make your ears tired, instead I find myself always wanting more which the next song always expertly delivers. https://merr0w.bandcamp.com/album/hybridization

  22. Artist: The Maniac Album: Necronomicon II Label: Timewarp Release: 3rd March 2018 Tracks 1 - Throne Of Azathoth 2 - The Crawling Chaos 3 - Worship Of Shub Niggurath Last I heard The Maniac was being just that, creating full length albums on his smartphone, like a Maniac. That's something huh. Well, we have either upgraded our soft and hardware or really tricked out his skill pool on that phone. A darker journey through the nether worldly regions of our planet leave me feeling strangely nice. Throne of Azaroth is absolute madness that I haven't been able to get enough of. His leads swirl and screech, twist and turn more than Zuckerberg trying to get out of accepting responsibility for losing our data. The Crawling Chaos is my 3rd favourite track here with some beautiful melodies. Still dark but not as dark as to whats coming. Worship Of Shub Niggurath The Undertaker Wrestlemania of this EP. This track is hot, the bells the beat the rhythm. Absolute fire from start to finish. The Maniac has stepped it up a bunch and successfully pulled of a dark broody themed EP. The EP is the perfect thing to put on when summoning faeries and demons from the other side. Or just when you wanna dance solo in your basement on top of a Ouija Board. https://timewarprecords.bandcamp.com/album/the-maniac-necronomicon-ii-timewarp078-timewarp
  23. Artist: Fractal Vivesection Album: Through The Vortex Label: Timewarp Release November 25, 2013 There's something deeply alluring about the sort of main room goa trance that Fractal V put out on this album. If Goa was the sort of genre that had big 6 month promotions for stadium shows in capitol cities, Fractal V would be headlining. This is full power orchestral trance that blasts you through vortex after vortex with non stop energy pulsing through you. The use of vocals is Al Dente, the looping in some parts of the song could come across as repetitive to some but for me it just adds to the intensity of the builds. The variety between tracks is just right with each one being equally as uplifting as the last. Interplanetary Voyage - Alarmingly sweet. We are introduced to the album, and before we know it shot into interplanetary space. An entrancing album opener that leaves me open for more. Traveling Apart - Diffidently amazing. an absolute orchestral treat for our ears. We have guitar, strings and vocals, with nothing overused. My favourite on the album for sure with full jumping up and down a part of the package. Interstellar Gliding - Shockingly good, i love the phaser sounds at the start, cutting through the air like it aint a thing. The singing comes through the same, cutting its way above the track and floating through the air. One of my favourite tracks on the album. My Name is Trance - Terribly enjoyable. The vocals lift me up and send me floating through trance land. The main lead is a little much after a while but when it leaves the rest of the song doesn't let up and carries it self forward right to a beautiful end. Molecular Instability - Appallingly ethereal. Here i was thinking that this album was going to be full of lightness. What a goofball, Space isn't full of light. In fact there is more darkness than anything in this universe. More nothing than something. Unlike this track which is most certainly more something than nothing, sneaky little guitar. You'll see. Distant Echos - Fearfully soft. Love a long intro, love organic instruments, love builds. love the main break, love the echos. All Bueno over here Tachyon - Hopelessly wonderful. The string instruments are a treat and leave a little hoping for what is to come. And they do come back in all their grace. Subconscious Flashback - Timorously pleasant. FV comes in with a slower softer track. The leads go on for like 168 bars before changing, very cool track with a little bit of something special making me raise my hands to the sky all the way to the end. Travelling Apart (Part 2) -Diffidently sensational. A floating outro eases us out of the many vortex's we have been shot through. 3:18 isn't quite enough to slow my heartbeat down but it's a start. Timewarp are tricky to navigate. You find an album, you earmark it for later and before you know it 3 more albums are out that require attention. Then Neogoa release something that is obviously going to poke at you till you give it a listen. Before you know it your 'to listen' list is taking up too many Giga bits and you gotta start fresh. Into the Vortex was a complete chance listen one night before going to bed but which ensured i did not go to bed. A complete surprise. If you are a full powered trance fan who can go an hour without letting themselves up from a punchy kick, then this album is for you. https://timewarprecords.bandcamp.com/album/through-the-vortex
