This is the mantra I get from this compilation. ranging across a series of psychedelic genres Portal Borealis have brought us a listening sensation. They've also put themselves on Tsoti's radar and opened me up to atlas 3 other albums from them. Each song is wildly different from the last and showcases absolute talent. Away we go Blinking Into Nothingness: A beautiful start and introduction to the album. The song progressing into deep dubby atmospheres that are all to easy to be lost in Morphosis: An emotional instrumental groove quickly envelopes you as you get drawn down into your amygdala. the instruments really are beautiful and exquisitely designed. I get filled with a mixture of introspective thoughts as the song progresses. Vlashko Horn (Kousk Remix): A thick tribal intro turns into a thick tribal bassy thang. The organic sounds are wonderful, the high's have me clicking along while the lead has me swaying. A perfect track for the jungles of the amazon, a trip down the nile or a dark night in the Rockies. A favourite on the track. Fat Pelvis: Fat Elvis & Fat Pat combine names to bring us Fat Pelvis. A dark dubby dreamscape that'll send chills through you as you walk home alone at 3 in the morning. Wear a jumper and thermals for this one. OptiMystic: Lovely track name that brings the mood back up with an absolute banger of psychedelic influenced drum and bass... The only drum and bass Tsotsi likes. This track is energy from start to finish. another favourite. Perfect for Street fighter influenced battles against your mortal enemy. Abyss: Metadream brings us an energy charged dark track. Psychedelic as all hell. Time: I gotta disagree with the premise. From the moment we are born our body starts to live. We open ourselves up to experiences and stimuli that we have the choice to engage with and grow from. Still, very relaxing track with lovely piano work and subtle scratching, the final vocal sample is uplifting like the rest of the track. love it. Embracing Darkness: a slower more ambient outdo that cools you down and leaves you in a complete state of mellow rest. The vocals are lovely, the instruments are lit what more could you want. All in all I can't recommend this compilation enough. It's variety of tracks stands out and carries you along for a complete start to finish listening experience. I think soundcloud is the best application for music due to its background feature that enables the listener to carry on other tasks while listening to music . YouTube although great for the amount of music it has , the app cannot be minimized without losing the audio of the track you're listening to , unless i have missed some upgrade? So please posts the artists / festivals you guys are following on soundcloud for release updates , sample tracks , full tracks and DJ's for their sets ? Im following just a handful eg Zen Mechanics & Suduaya but am looking for a wider selection. Please feel free to post music from other psy influenced genres (if applicable) that is worth mentioning as well. ( psytechno, psytechhouse , deeppsyhouse etc ) Thanks in advance

As a b-boy, rapper, and graffiti artist raised in one of Tblilisi’s Soviet-era suburbs in late 90s, Obri began exploring breakbeat and other electronic music genres, but was soon immersed in psychedelic trance music. Alongside other enthusiasts he founded GeoPsy, a pioneering underground psychedelic community in Georgia, and soon moved into production. These ten tracks summarize his long personal journey into sound, experimenting with different elements of psychedelia from deep ambient techno soundscapes to hypnotic acid roughness. First of all, we want to thank you once more for your support and love given: HVALA! We learned a lot, especially in communication with you, and our mission is to implement this new knowledge into building bigger but more accessible and more humane MoDem. Your better comfort and safety is the primary goal. With our greener initiative, we want to live the words ecology and sustainability even more. Preserving the site as pure and untouched as we found it implies stricter 'leave no trace' policy. Except for the construction of new compost toilets we have big plans in this department and therefore we're going to need your help; so expect crowdfunding and other campaigns in near future. We continue to follow our vision to abandon the outdated concept that divides musical genres on 'main' and 'alternative' so each segment of the MoDem Festival will have equal treatment and approach. It seems that you liked new concept with three musical stages and at this moment we can only reveal that we are improving and developing it. But building chill out area worthy of our Festival is the main objective. You know what to expect - diverse musical content with an emphasis on psychedelic sound and out of this world visuals, installations and art. Write down Primislje , and few kilometres before you arrive , there will be signs for the festival . In case you don't have a GPS system , out festival location is exactly half way on the road between SLUNJ and OGULIN . Check google maps before and you should have no problem with finding the Festival . BY BUS : - There is bus service operating every day from Zagreb , Split , Zadar , Sibenik and other places to Sunj . We will post all the timetables 2 months before the festival , once when we are sure timetables will be fixed and won't change. Shuttle bus will be provided from Slunj with a reasonable price . BY PLANE : - In Croatia there is 6 airports : Pula , Rijeka , Zagreb , Zadar , Split and Dubrovnik. The most convenient to travel to is Zagreb , Zadar and Split , but in case you find some great flight deal ( and there are a lot of low cost airlines flying to all of the airports ) don't hesitate going to any of them . It may take you a little bit longer to arrive to the festival , due to interconnections , but its worth of saving money. BY BOAT : - There is a ferry service operating from Ancona ( Italy ) to Zadar .
