  1. Artist: Sidhartha Title: Reverse Mode Label: Metatron Production Date: May, 2005 1. Reverse Mode 2. Motion Detector 3. Mars Arrival 4. Inner Voice 5. No Worries 6. Physical Form 7. Sudden Shifts 8. Deep Sonar 9. Psychotic Behaviour 10. Dance With The Stars Nuno Santos has a long history in the psytrance scene and is well known as a purveyor of the hard hitting acid style. This was his debut album that unfortunately is showing its age. It's dark full-on with plenty of psychedelic sounds and lasers, but lacks the punch and bombast of his own later work. The bass lines are a bit tiresome and most of the tracks sound very similar. Not really an enjoyable listen. But hey we all gotta start somewhere and he eventually turned it around. Beatspace
  2. Artist: Various Title: Need for Speed II - In Speed of Light Label: Metatron Production Date: May, 2006 1. Burn in Noise - Psy Drugs 2. Z-Machine - East Generation (2006 Dance Mix) 3. Luxor - Mexican Theme 4. Sidhartha - Transform 5. Killer Buds - Organize 6. Technodrome - New York Baby 7. Insane Logic - Face To The Road 8. Karma Crop - Killer Crop 9. Technodrome Vs. Karma Crop - Ignition 10. Nemesis Divine - Last Man Standing Need for speed? What the fine folks at Metatron needed to do was slow down and find something other than mediocre run of the mill full-on. Look we all know what this is and in 2006 it wasn't bad. Unfortunately it doesn't really hold up today. Galloping bass lines? Oh you know that's in here. Lasers? Sure, but you like lasers. Changes in tempo and bass line patterns? C'mon man...it's 2006. That's like asking if there are enough guns in the US. There are parts of tracks which actually do hold up, but they aren't maintained. In fact some are ruined by stops and starts that were typical back then. No track development or depth just a quick burst of energy and then on to the next one. It's the equivalent of bad Chinese food. Musically you'll be hungry in about 10 minutes and sorry to say, but Fat Kok is the last thing you'll want. So this is just another disc that will end up on the vast mountain of sh*t I don't have to listen to again. Beatspace
  3. Artist: Technodrome Title: Earthquake Label: Metatron Production Date: December, 2005 1. Kawabanga 2. April The Slut 3. Technologic 4. Earthquake 5. Bob the Demon 6. What's The Rush? 7. Turtle Power 8. Reset Dimension 9. Dickhead "The hope and survival of mankind rests on us!" Excuse me have you met us? We humans are woefully unqualified for this responsibility. Perhaps you have something in the social media field. We love to put our business out there. I have to believe this is the jewel in their crown. Everything I've heard from these guys since just hasn't measured up to their first album. Didn't one of them get arrested in India a while back? Tough to come back from that. Ask Michael Vick. Sigh...google him. Technodrome is the project of two Shays from Israel and their debut was a ground rumbler. Lasers, acid, and the unforgettable cover. I mean who doesn't love ninja turtles? It's full-on the whole way that realizes that it's still dance music and as such is supposed to elevate the heart rate. Most of it is four on the floor power trance without any cheese so if that's your thing this will appeal to you. Beatspace Digital Download
