  1. Nebula Meltdown - Stardust Chronicles Suntrip Records, 2013 Psychedelic Goatrance 1. One Eyed Reptile 2. A Higher Pathway 3. Psychic Beacon 4. Agape Sophia 5. Superluminal Connection 6. Stardust Chronicles 7. Mindstream Continuum 8. Alnitak Sunrise 9. Breakfast on the Balcony Stardust Chronicles is Nebula Meltdown's long-awaited debut Psychedelic Goa-Trance album. The artist has released several tracks on Suntrip comps, including Encrypted Illusion that numerous listeners found superb. The album is spacey, atmospheric, harmonious, and showcases some of the most enjoyable Goatrance work of the year. 1. One Eyed Reptile begins with warm ambient, atmosphere, and a Carl Sagan sample from the classic TV show Cosmos. These aspects establish the album's traveling, spacey feel. I love the synth lead that begins at 2:03, the supporting layers that keep up, and the returning synth lead. It's gripping and reminds me of what a sequel to Tandu's superb Multimoods album could sound like. The song grows a little repetitive as it progresses, primarily from 4:48 to 5:42 (the only thing holding me back from a higher score!). The artist could have trimmed a minute in that regard, and the song would have been exceptionally well done. But that part around 2:03 really sets it off; nice work! This energetic opening has some superb work on it, and grabs my attention right away. B+ 2. A Higher Pathway is less energetic than the opening, but it still has energy. The song establishes a really nice sound early on, although the melody/sound work is simpler here. The song plays out like chapters with variety; they flow and develop well. The leads, while nothing intoxicating, stand out. The last third has a fun, bubbly/psychedelic segment (via the sixth minute) that's great. Good track. B+ 3. Psychic Beacon stands out more than the previous one to me; I really like its layering and soundscapes, most of all the positive, skipping sound and feel. This song sounds to me like a distant, foreign relative of Etnica's stunning Vimana track. Okay, maybe a touch of influence; the artist did something very different. The synth leads are enjoyable and catchy. Solid song! B+ 4. Agape Sophia continues off the previous track's ending, complimenting the album's homogenous, cohesive feel. The short ambient intro sounds beautiful, celestial. The following several minutes are light, and will attract some (warm atmosphere, gentle harmonies). Others however may find the first 3-4 minutes uneventful, slow, and even a bit boring. There is a cloud walking interlude just after the third minute where the song grows more engaging. The artist incorporates a combination of elements along with catchier melodies. These additions are delectable and enhance the relaxing, spacey sound established early on. Overall the song gets better in the second half, and I like the idea of varying the more detailed tracks with ones less elaborate, to not overwhelm us. That said, the first half could have been better. This is a gentle, traveling number between the more arresting, dynamic ones. B- 5. Superluminal Connection I consider less ambitious as well. It continues off the previous track well I feel. The first third has more energy which is cool. It's filled with little details, but I'm not engaged. The second third grows more enticing just after a Carl Sagan sample. The psy-work stands out more. In the last third, a machine/fax-esque sound a la X-Dream's Radio (but different) enhances the synth work. It's catchy. I simply wish that the first few minutes were stronger. At least they're not bad and build up to the more engaging second half of the song. B- 6. Stardust Chronicles is the beginning of the second part of the album that I find stronger than the first. Maybe the artist will make his next album great from beginning to end, but until then... This song is a return to the melody skipping, wave braiding layers that comprised Psychic Beacon (to some degree). They're even catchier here. The whole song gets catchier as it progresses actually. There is some similarity however with that Vimana-esque synth in Psychic Beacon and the one here. Fortunately, much of the work is different. The song is great! This song is deserving of its self-titled album. Well done! A- 7. Mindstream Continuum has a beautiful introduction. What follows is many layers of deliciously flowing ingredients that produce a developing, evolving rhythm. There's a cool sample halfway through, and a calming of excitement before take off where the spaceship acquires a tasty synth, one of several that keeps things refreshing throughout. The atmospheric elements add to the immersion too, and don't even get me started on the soundscapes and the imaginative psychedelic work in the second half. Excellent track! A- 8. Alnitak Sunrise is an uplifting morning Goa-esque Trance number. I really like the drum work, skipping melody, euphoric sound, and voice samples (I love some of the voice sample selection). The song is relaxing and dreamy, upbeat and full of positive energy. There is just something beautiful about this finished product that speaks to me. Its unexpectedly different, unique, and catchy! A- 9. Breakfast on the Balcony is a solid, mildly Goa-influenced ambient track. It progresses nicely. The piano and subtle drums in the last third add to the floating atmosphere with a touch more energy. It doesn't stay with me like the previous three tracks, but it is a respectable closing to a memorable album. B+ Stardust Chronicles is a mature Goatrance release with atmospheric, spacey and evocative elements. Relative to the first half, I love the synth work in One Eyed Reptile, the variety in A Higher Pathway, and the melody/sound work in Psychic Beacon. Tracks 2, 4, and 5 showcase a less elaborate/energetic side of the artist with parts that are stronger than the whole, especially Agape Sophia and Superluminal Connection. Both are enjoyable, but lighter, or less elaborate and memorable compared to tracks: 1, 6, 7, 8. Good news is that the album is atmospheric, has well developed introductions, and is pretty homogeneous. I also like how every song sounds different, with exception to Psychic Beacon and Stardust Chronicles that share some similar sounds and ideas. For a while I thought I was hearing the same track only to realize the differences when hearing them back-to-back. Any other complaints or nitpicks? The first half of Superluminal Connection could have been better. Also I would have loved if the album was stronger in the first half. But the first half has grown on me, and I appreciate all of the time, energy, and creativity that went into this debut. The voice samples are great too, more aware, and thoughtful for those into the cosmos, our connection to the source, eternal love and light. I found the album interesting and catchy, for those into the more traveling, atmospheric, occasionally softer (although the album open with a bang and is generally stimulating/exciting), albeit less (non) maximal side of Goatrance which is great too! This album grew on me. It has some great work on it. I don't mean to sound smug or selfish either, but please do not underestimate the power of a non red (final) score from me. 2. Information : Artist : Various Title : Goa Trance Revolution Label : Goa-Trance.com Date : 08 May 2013 Genre : Goa trance Tracklist : 1. Afgin - Goa Ahead 2. Goasia - Sundance 3. Indoor - Bom Shankar 4. Radical Distortion - Asinar 5. S.U.N. Project - Out of my brain (Old school mix) 6. Liquid Flow - Subconscious Minds 7. Laughing Skull - The Shine Side 8. Omnivox - Corona 9. Blue Planet Corporation – Alidade (Classical Mix) Review : And here we go ! Goa-trance.com, which is at start just a facebook group, decided to contact some artist to release a compilaton of Goa trance song. So what you will find on this compilation will mostly be Newschool Goa trance song. One more thing to add : it's a limited edition (500 CD only). Afgin - Goa head : Compilation begins with this track from Afgin and I've to say I've seen better work from him. However, this ain't a bad track : a loud kick, some nice melody all along the song, by exemple at 4:41. Well, not an awesome track but not a bad track neither ! Goasia - Sundance : Sundance ! Ahh ! I don't know about you, but the sound wich start the song make me think of a desert, at midday, where the sun is so strong that nothing else resist to him ! Then, the song continue with a nice melody (Ok, some of you will say it's a bit cheesy, cmon guys that doesn't sound bad !) and an energizing rythmic ! Then it continue with other melodies ! The melodies are very oriental-like tunes, and for this compilation, it just fit perfectly ! Not necessery to say more about this track, that's a good one from Goasia ! Indoor - Bom Shankar : This is the kind of track, you only need to hear the kick, the bass and the intro to know it's gonna be an amazing release ! And that's it ! Bom Shankar, from Indoor, start with a nice and strong kick, accompanied with nice bassline. There's a kind of goa tune in background, and then comme the main melody : WAOUV ! A very nice melody, which one give a "dark" aspect to this track (Nothing to do with dark psytrance...). Then you got another melody, Im not going to give you the entire description of the song, just to say you, the melodies are very nice, fits very well with the kick & bass, the song got a nice structure, the intro is nice, the tune are also awesome....I personnaly think it's the best track of this compilation ! Radical Distortion - Asinar : A short intro and a powerfull kick for this track ! And it fast comes with melodies ! What to say about this song ? Well, there's some nice Melodies (haha you're going to tell me I've said it for every track but damn isn't that true ?!), and I like how some break are made. For example, at 4:14. Oh and I forgot about the bassline, wich is quite nice ! That's it, not an amazing but a good track ! S.U.N. Project - Out of my brain (Old school mix) : As this is an Old school Mix, I decided to listen to the original mix before review this one. So let's be honest : the original one is a nice psy-trance track (altought I consider it has a goa kick, the melody are more psytrance than goa). I've heard a lot of old school goa song remixed in psy-trance or progressive psy-trance, but i've rarely (to be honest never) heard the opposite. And that's what we got with this old school mix. So, it start with a nice kick and pretty simple but nice bassline. Than come the main tune, this guitar melody, which is very nice and change of the oriental-like melody used in the other song, but not very different of the original mix. Where it does change, it's how the melody is re-used in the other part of the song, it's very well used, the structure make it more goa-trance like, a nice work so. Only little thing : the damned melody starting at 4:36 !!! Guys, im Sorry to have to say that, but it sound like butchering an ostrich Except that, it's a good overall track, with good guitar tune. Liquid Flow - Subconscious Minds : A good track, with dynamic melody and strong kick. You know it sound a bit like those nitzhonot tune : it goes a bit "everywhere", but in this goa trance song, the melody are well compacted, I means they do fit with the structure of the track. To be honest, one of the reason why I bought the compil', is that I heard a preview of every track and the preview of this one just amazed me ! Laughing Skull - The Shine Side : A nice song, with deep and powerfull melodies ! The one starting at 3:46 is just amazing, the best of the entire album for me ! You can also hear a very short voice sample at end of the track, if I state it it's because there's very very few voice sample in this compilation ! There's a nice outro. A nice song overall, the second best one of the compilation for me ! Omnivox - Corona : I am a bit disappointed of this song. I find the first melody cheesy, however the other one are ok, it's just this first one, who come back several time in the song which doesn't sound great to me. There's a nice break in the middle/end of the track, then it slowly grow up and when you're at the top, here come a damned melody...Yes, this cheesy melody ! That's seriously the "black point" of this track, except that, it's an okey track ! At the end of the track this cheesy melody is even being better ! Blue Planet Corporation – Alidade (Classical Mix) : Here we go with last track of this compil' ! First of all, I like the introduction, slowly growing, but slowly being strong, with nice tune ! Well, this is a Classical Mix, I don't know what the "classical" stand for, I just saw that the original Mix was longer than this one, and had a different mastering, a longer intro...(To be honest I didn't listen to the entire original mix, I know this is a classic for goa trance, but excuse me there's so much to listen in the psychedelic trance!). So, to make it short, it's a very nice track, very soft, with those piano melodies, this pretty nice kick and this soft atmosphere ! It make me think a bit about "Jaia - Mai Mai", but in a different way ! As mai mai, it's very soft and relaxing, but there's no voice sample. So, a pretty nice track, which fit well for a compilation ending. Overall : Goa trance Revolution is a very good newschool goa trance compilation ! If you like newschool goa trance, I strongly recommend it, it has nice melodies ! If you're more an oldschool goa trance fan, I still recommend it, because you know, there's not much newschool goa trance compilation and this one is the perfect example of what newschool goa trance is ! Is it possible that, by fault, it was destroyed by its own self? History has shown that when the system faces collapse, it tries to restart itself. This is what might have happened in the previous World Wars. Could the economic crisis of today lead to a ‘restart’ of the system? Could such an event trigger a nuclear holocaust, destroying everything down to the last spore? ‘VA – Spore Destruction’ is a psychedelic transition from the dark age we’re entering today, to the imminent final war of tomorrow. Rapid fire, laser guns, ion beams and nukes will teleport you into the most aggressive battlefield. But remember: In this War, no one wins! ////////////////////////////////////////// Message from Aghori Tantrik: Whilst I was meditating for Lord Shani or Saturn which represents the unwholesome in life, the decaying, the poor, the unorthodox and the low, i came across some intense visions of powerful and huge serpents. These serpents spanned sizes more than the size of Earth itself, fit for survival only in the raging storms of planet saturn. Why I was meditating on Saturn, because I had learnt an important and hard lesson in my life, and at this point if you want to convert pain to power, you go to Lord Shani.. Here is the song that came out as an spontaneous combustion from my internal universe after this powerful prayer to Lord Shani. I hope you enjoy the mind bending effects, i can recommend lying down in Shavasana and let these serpents move freely across your internal cosmos, the key is in your hands now - play with it in your own psychedelic manner! ~~~~~~~~~ Download Packs: MP3: https://depositfiles.com/files/35asgvru6 WAV: https://depositfiles.com/files/ypues4qlr

  14. CinderVOMIT - The Beast Within Album: The Beast Within Artist: CinderVOMIT Genre: Darkpsy, Psycore, Experimental Size: 335MB License: CC Price: Free and Donations (The artist is raising money to help fight off his disease. Help support him!) Track List: 01 - Is This a Dream??? 02 - Inside Out 03 - Absence of Light 04 - Walk Through Walls 05 - Nuclear Tuna!!! [Feat. EkimSkrid] 06 - Whispers 07 - The End 08 - The Trinity Through Infinity 09 - Mama Mimosa 10 - In A World Of My Own A celestial tower climbs far into space, spiraling towards another dimension full of distant, shadowy figures that shatter the souls of the living. An evil rests at the very top, waiting and craving for something to discover its horrifying lair. As travelers approach the end of the structure, interested and curious about the alluring tower, a strange figure begins to boast its bellowing laugh. The ground beneath their feet shakes, and an unknown entity rises from hell to engulf the reality they so desperately attempt to live in. Slime covers their bodies and pulls them downwards into oblivion, sinking them into nothingness. They cry and scream for help, but high in the caverns of the castle, no soul exists to hear their pleas. The eyes of the beholder melts their brains as the acid tears them apart. They make one last gasp, and go insane as the world around them implodes from the beast within. I find myself knees deep in complete terror. Ever curious, I listen carefully as I am carried through a universe of melting shadows, untold legends, and exotic creatures from the deepest depths of unknown worlds. Surrounded by pure, thick, and juicy soundscapes, the mystifying and intense stragness of this experience pulls me into confusion, chaos, and bewilderment. CinderVOMIT maniacally twists knobs, rapidly tips and taps on keys, and organizes the thoughts from his journeys into nothing short from a spectacular masterpiece. Truly, the road opened is an innovative, original, and simply incredible opportunity for any psychedelic connoisseur. I approached this album with an open mind, surrounded by nothing but a dimly lit candle in the corner of my room. I put on my headphones, closed my eyes, and a wave of color raced across my mind. It is rare for an album to put me into such a true form of trance. It is scary, hideous, and almost makes me scream as if I am waking up from a nightmare only to realize it was all a dream. In fact, I jumped at one moment and realized I was asleep. It took me somewhere in my mind I have never been before. The psychedelic spectrum is only one good thing about this incredible album. In fact, I can't find anything wrong with it. There are many, many good things. A series of well thought out, mastered, heavy bass lines carry a terrorcore theme against slowly evolving pads and steady synths. It is all quite beautiful. I never knew what was going to pop up from beneath the intricate layers of glorious creations embedded into vibrations. Every track features a different BPM, varying from 150 - 200. Wonderfully varied, I yearn for more at every second. I never want the journey to end. Through gorgeously crafted, mysterious soundscapes, this album blows light out of the world and lets in the darkness. If you are brave enough to experience it for yourself, you will be taken on a journey into an organic wilderness covered in mist where you will be alone, shaking, and turning your head in all directions in paranoia that some strange beast is out to get you and rip you to pieces. Being greeted by this atrocity is entirely up to you. Your going to have to run through the violent world and explore the isolated landscape to come across discoveries never before understood, until now. Maybe you too will come across the tower and climb high into the night until the seemingly endless hallways come to an end. It is quite possibly one of the best albums I have ever listened to. As terrifying as It may seem, the album itself is extremely enjoyable. I love the beats. I love the voices. I love the progression. I love the sounds. I love the vibes. I love every single thing about this album. I can not get enough of the beats used here. The Trinity Through Infinity, for example, has some of the greatest sounds I have ever heard. There are different perspectives, sure, but all in all the music is so tasty, engulfing, and addicting that you will love it. It is certainly a more advance album, offering more than the casual listener looks for. Go into it thinking outside the box. Let it take your reality and twist it up. Challenge your boundaries and bend the rules a bit. It will be well worth it. Only then will you truly understand what The Beast Within is. 10/10 Download here on Bandcamp (MP3, FLAC, WAV) - Review by FatKidWitaJetPak (Nick Sumbles) - Special Thank to Bandcamp for the download bandwidth. - Special Thanks to Jellyfish Frequency Recordings for the review request.

I'm sure I've missed out on some so share your top five so far and we might all discover something we have missed or that has slipped through the cracks! Mine: 5. Texas Faggot – Tranz toilette / Rytmimystiikka - If you like their style you probably already have this 4. U recken - Light At the End of The World - Full on/Prog in the typical U-recken wonderfully polished style. If you like his other stuff well..u know. 3. Trold - Time for Solution - An album I have been waiting a long time for, full on style but not typically. Trold has a certain charm for me 2. Dimension 5 - Transstellar - Of course.
