  1. As a Matrix-techno-rave-computer-nerd-teen, I have to say that it sucks ass. Not all Matrix-techno-rave-computer-nerd-teen say zOMG skazi is teh BEST.
  2. So I have heard.... do you think that the midimiliz gig will be at a bar or a club because there might be a problem with id
  3. : O are you serious? I have to go see them! I still have yet to go to a rave/psyparty or whatever so it shall be interesting. Do you have a website with the information? I am having trouble finding it.
  4. I notice that I never see any psytrance groups come to Canada. What is up with that? I would KILL to see SUN project, the delta, or whoever live but they never come, why?
  5. those tracks are FUCKING KICK ASS! release more stuff plzkthx
  6. do they have a track called 'princess of canada'
  7. I don't think its all that bad. Its not that I think its crap or that they have "sold out", its just that its not to suprising to me because musicians style changes all the time. Get over it. At first it didn't appeal to me very much at all, but as I listened to it a couple of times I thought it was actually really good. Just because their style has changed doesn't automatically make them suck. Also I really loved both Combustion and Sun Spot, but I think that Combustion was just as good if not better then Sun Spot. I think that on Sun Spot half of their tracks were mindless techno stuff that went nowhere (not that it isnt a bad thing sometimes).
  8. I am looking for dark minimal psytrane or psy techno... I'm looking for albums/comps similar to: The Delta Midi Miliz The Delta Force Comp MOS X Dream - Irritant Thanks
  9. Dude, thats nice that you like those cds but guess what? Some people don't! Holy shit, it cant be true you have the best taste in music ever right? Wrong. You said why you liked the cds, they didnt like it, get over it. If you like it then it doesn't matter what other people think.
  10. imo kai tracids cd trance and acid didnt have that much acid in it, but drift deep into your own thoughts is a killer track. ppk - its this russian trance duo that does anthem like trance, but they tend to use alot of acid in their tracks, which makes them quite better then any pop induced trance imo. dino psaras - his album 'lick it' has a really kick ass track with acid, 'hover' four carry nuts - they have the occational acid tweaks, but not total acid trance sun project - though sun project hasnt reallyr released any acid trance in a while, their old acid tracks such as i feel, tribulous, and the awakening are pretty sick
  11. I don't mind the vocals. Its not like I think that they are amazing or speak to me in some spiritual way, but its just catchy and imo works pretty well.
  12. quantum lab = eh, alright... its pretty catch but nothing that really makes my head bang to it. the 1st = bleh... i have their live act at the drugless festival which im pretty sure they used some tracks from their new cd, and some tracks are very catchy, yet sound sorta.. euro trancy for some reason.. dono... just my opinion
  13. thought ive heard some dark soho and tim schuldt, the other reccomendations were great. Thanks. and yes, i know that no one calls it buttrock goa
  14. hey guys, I'm wondering if you know of any guitar trance/heavy metal psytrance/whatever the hell you wana call it tracks that are a bit low key and don't get heard that often. The reason why i am asking this is because I have heard all of the standard names in the heavy metal trance scene ie the guitars on mushrooms comps, sun project, 4 carry nuts, ect. So if you have any recommendations that would be great, thanks
  15. I started listening to psytrance about a half a year ago. I stumbled upon Ishkur's guide to electronic music, and fell inlove mainly with psytrance. Since then thats pretty much all i listen to now. I know that people sometimes bash Ishkur for not being on a dot with his gendres but its still a great explanation of electronic music.
  16. Sonic Fusion And Impact : Mortal Combat its off the guitars on mushrooms 2 compilation.. could that be it?
  17. Thats awsome! I am a huge fan of PHI! keep on kicking ass!
  18. Psychadelic trance is by NO means mainstream imo, and just about anyone I talk to has not the slightest idea of what it is. How is Infected mushroom selling out when they have sold how many records? I heard something like 50000, which may be more or less, but it is still jack shit compared to 'mainstream' muisc. How are they, as quoted by a member, "lying on their heaps of money"? Now, has anyone else ever listened to any other groups/artists that have been together for a long time? Everyone seems to be shocked that their lovable IM after some years of loyal regular sound, they might want to, god forbid, CHANGE their style a bit? They can't do that!!! Seriously guys, I have NEVER seen someone artists in the music industry change their style of music, NEVER. Infected Mushroom are the first group ever!
  19. you guys are talking like infected is the first artists ever to "sell out".. musicians all the time change their style in music and then everyone claims that it sucks because they are trying to do something different, and usually it does, but its what happens in music. get over it.
  20. I am from toronto however im not relaly in with the scene...
  21. Ok, so I downloaded this movie of Infected Mushroom in Costa Rica and at around the 5 min mark (just incase anyone else has seen it) they start to play a (what i belive) is a track with a heavily synth guitar sound.. I love this track to death but I do not know what its called. In terms of IM's guitar tracks I know its not 'none of this is real' 'release me' or 'deeply disturbed'. Any idea of what it could be? Thanks
