anyone heard this one?
this compilation in fact is an album made by the same guy as various artist names , Kevin Olsen is his name.
He appears on World of Goa-Trance compilations aswell.
His style is clean simple and fullon TB-303!
It makes me go MADDDDDDD!
Try it and youll see...

I was thinking lately about this great true goa resource, community here and how much greater it could get
I'm talking about a working web-site with a lot of info - Reviews, Festivals, Interviews, Label/Artist info, this wonderful forum.
Owners of PsyNews can't do it because of the lack of time (or something), but there are many of us (users) with different capabilities and if we are together we can do anything and know everything - from programming to design. So i suggest developing PsyNews together, I think mars (he's the One here, right?) wouldn't mind
I'm not a programmer, nor am I a designer (I'm studying at the Physical Department / Newral Networks Engeneering), but I could help with info or anything you ask me. I'm sure there's a bunch of programmers full of enthusiasm and love to Goa willing to contribute something to the community, I've also seen numbers of designers here. Even if he considers that Filteria's music wasn't meant to be released by SunTrip it is not ur right to judge his taste for music, as he doesn't yours. Amithaba's music is one Filteria's is another type (although both are Goa), and I am sure that Fellipe didn't mean to say that Filteria's "music didn't deserve an album", quite the opposite, he deserved an album that's why he is lucky, because he managed to make album that is decent for a release. Yes I like Filteria's music a lot, even he can tell ya that I wrote an e-mail to him to thank him for what he has done for us, but as Amithaba said, it is matter of tastes and we should not discuss them here, or even reach for a judgment of them...

) and spread what u have done here, because thanks to what u have released as unreleased, many friends here heard about my friend Fellipe from Portugal. Keep up the good work...Ukiro , filteria is a lucky guy , are you aware that melodic music is very very hard to release? i see that we´re not compatible with each other since you´re very label politician and im not , so i wont be harsh on you.

hehive been working and builing new ideas for the next project (will be a EP album as i mentioned before) , i will release it as a white label release , and yes i dont mind you download my stuff and spreading around , you´re very welcome to do it

well its pure psychedelic trance cause you can notest (hear) the fx layer combinations (one of the important characteristics in psytrance) , hard psychedelic bassline and strange ambient alien sounds make it a psytrance genre , but they also use the classical indian goa melodies (very good ones) most of them are distorted (even the leads!) its good to listen , its very "alive", rythmic , melodic , non-caotic (clean) easy to listen and thats why its a breed between goa and psychedelic trance. The indian/spiritual melodies makes you dream and fx layer combinations make you freak out.

i just got this album and i wanted to share my enthusiasm.
this album is fucking great! this what i call PURE Psychedelic Trance!
Melodies that twist your mind all over , futuristic sounds that make you mad , not so super lead layered , balanced , indian melodies , strong rythmic section , hard basslines and more more more and more...
man this album is fucking great!!!
this is da bomb.
i also have the other bypass unit albums , but its not so good as this one , the other ones are good too , but its different cause its Goa , its more soft than this one. This album have goa influences (specially the melodies , its great.) , this is the breed i like most , a Goa Psychedelic Trance mixture. Melodies that make you freak out combined with those psychedelic fx layers all over.
if you listen the first 2 albums from Bypass Unit and then listen to this one , youll realize the difference between goa and psytrance.

Fruit kick is good for a classic goa kick , but otherwise you´d better get a lot of sample kicks to get different goa kicks.
Inzomniac , did you know you dont need the filter to make a kick in subtractor , i recommend you to check the soundbank refill and check the subtractor drum parts.

ok... I need some explanations here...
Reading all those reviews and topics I see people writing the word 'cheezy' as a mark an element of a goa artist... still I notice that there are like two different defenitions of 'cheezy'
1) cheezy psy trance is psytrance that's made to sell... trance that's made with the perspective that lots of people will like it & buy it, the so called killar albums...
2) cheezy is the very melodic and uplifting psy trance that has a lot of emotions and intens feelings... that you wanna cry
... like yahel, lani, vibe tribe, muses rapt etc...my question is... lots of people call like lani or yahel songs cheezy because lots of people like it because it touches you in a very special place....
but that doens't mean those goa artist made their music with the persepective to sell a lot of stuff and have lots of fans... they just made the goa they liked or wanted to make...
there's a rare paradox I believe and would like to know your opinion...
still this is not a pro or against cheezy psytrance topic or what is cheezy for examples and then bash the artist...
I'm looking for a way to put 'cheezy' into a perspective and create some generality (not neccessarily off course
)...well nitzonot is cheezy and doesnt make me cry

I liked your track alot, i think that track could easily be fitten into some suntrip compilation etc, they atleast say they are bringing back the goa-sound, so i don't see why not include this in some release?. Too bad this is the way things have turned out, no matter how good goa you make no one want's to release it. it's really a shame.
i think suntrip would release me if they could. there is lots of unreleased artists out there and suntrip cant release them all since its a small label and cant afford everyones work.Suntrip just have 1 release and filteria was/is a lucky guy.

funny you say that its ''too soft''. thats what i was thinking when i heard it. I think i d really like it if only there was more depth into the low frequencies..Maybe harder kickdrum? because now the high freqs dominate totaly. Maybe thats just the mastering !
i think that its a very good track but could do with just -a b i t- less acid synthies...(i think u get what i mean)
but dont mind me i ve been listening to a lot of weird idm industrial etc recently so i might be more into aggresive sounds right now than the usual goafreak!

well when i was producing i wanted to make a soft song , but it seems labels dont want soft music cause people dont want soft music , now what all people wants is music for xtc (fullon). Im not into fullon or either xtc so i make songs depending on my mood.
Yes it is the mastering the song will be mastered properly soon , i have people who will take care of it (fortunatly)
if you dont like you dont like , its just a matter of tastes my friend.

with labels or no labels i wont stop make music and many works will be released by me. im planning a EP with a new project , ive been working on it lately and it will take some time to achive the sound and work. if labels want my work good , if not ill release it somehow as white label.
more goa will come.
