sounds even better then the first one
-
holy shit
have you listened to the tempo on track 4
I didnt know psy could go that fast, way over 160bpm
I benn listening to tumult a lot and I need something else to fry my brain
this seems promising
-
I find this CD pretty relaxing actually
especially the first track
-
this album kicks ass pure and simple
anyone into dark psy needs to have this
-
Return of the Shadows was one of the first tracks I ever heard from IM on a burned CDr while tripping on mushrooms for the first time. It's to date one of my all time favorite tracks! It really exites me, the intro drops, the mood, the tempo, the variations, the funny sound effects haha, the details coming and going all over, the very kool guitar riffs that rushes the track along, the everything. Love. Mucho Musho powa love! Grr! whra! Whra! Whraoww!
this album creeped me out the first time i listened to it
theres no way id be able to listen to this on psychedelics
-
you got an account here to k-ban
yeah check this mix out it rules
-
I cant decide, their both so good
but i'd have to say shpongle
even though i really just look at it as a continuation of hallucinogen
-
words are not enough to describe the complexity and intensity of this album
The sounds are just unreal, and the trippy factor is just rediculous
no knob was left unturned on the synthesizer when this was put together
Whats cool about this is if you listen to this outside all the noises that are around you dont detract from the listening experience
but rather get tangled up in this mesh of noise
I'm having a hard time remembering words, this CD is a minf*** and it gets darker twords the second half
easy 10 out of 10

I got this album about a year ago and man is it mind blowing
favorite tracks are 1,2,3,4 and 8 the others are just good.
even though LSD is just the title track, the whole album is one mind altering experience
when it goes to track 2 its the LSD journey continued
-
thats great news, i have not been able to get a hold of this album
-
lots of noise, very fun album too listen to
reminds me of walking around the grocery store completley stoned while browsing the cereal isle
if your into old school goa get this album
-
just listened to this album today and man is it some good stuff
what I like this album is that esch part as its own distinctive melodic interlude which makes each track unique
whats with people giving sixes just because its not absolutley perfect
theres plenty of trippy sounds and every track is good if not great
the last two tracks are definetly my favorite
9/10

this CD was a real trip
much better than I expected
favorite tracks 2,8,9 but the others were really good too
-
I have not been able to find any information on this track
The track title says GMS, but the youtube poster obviously made the ID up becuase everyone I know says its not GMS
does anybody know who really made this track
-
these guys are good producers, but I think they just forgot about their psy roots.
I really dont care what style IM experiments I like the guitars, but please stop the singing
-
good compilation
very trippy stuff
go download this if you havent already

psyshop delivers more quickly if you live in the US
but saiko has more variety and they give you longer samples
saiko seems to be out of stock more
i usually go with psyshop due to faster delivery
saiko if i cant find it at psyshop
if not saiko then amazon
-
I know this is an old one, but I just listened to it today and man is it sweet
don't miss this one
-
why did I not get this album sooner.
The samples I've heard gave a total false representation of what this album sounds like.
Of all three of the shpongle albums I think this one has the least emphasis on acoustic instruments which is both good and bad. still plenty of guitars and ethnic stuff though
Plenty of electronic swirly psychedlic madness going on in this drifty CD.
My favorite part was around track 11 at 1:30ish, I wish that little sound lasted lnger
Also I liked the use of slap bass around track 16 or 17, It reminded me of my favorite rock group primus
wasnt' an absolute mind blower like the first album, but doesnt really have any flaws.
10/10
get this CD and prepare for a long strange trip. The CD is one hour but it will seem like three

I think the best way to enjoy this album is not to expect it to be ambient.
Its like one of the other posters described, tribal drum music on DMT.
I was kind of on the fence with this album for awhile, but after going back and forth and listening to samples I finally started to like this album.
Favorite tracks 1,3,5,6 espeically #3 with the terence mckenna samples talking about his trip on DMT
The other ones were pretty good except I didn't care for track 7, to much singing and melodramatics.
9/10
not as good as the first but a great album nonettheless

I don't really like their new sound
Its a shame becuase their first album totally kicked ass
-
man what happened to these guys
this doesnt sound like IM or psy at all
1 vocal track doesnt bother me, but most of the album?
if they wanted to do this kind of stuff they should of just done a side project or something
-
first of all for the people who said they didn't like this album there is something wrong with you becuase this album kicks serious ass
I just got the last copy of this CD today and I can honestly say there wasn't a track which i didn't like
plenty of warm crunchy ridgey goa sounds
8.8/10

whoaaa, cool
especially the one with weird checkerboard pattern

I think this album was kick ass
fav's were 2,4,6,8
1 and 3 I liked too
for these people who saying its not as good as their first album
well what the hell do you expect man
AYS was a timeless masterpiece, no one will ever top that
but you cant say an album is bad becuase you expect it to be perfect
It's a different album
listen to it for what it is, don't hold it to a standard of the prevois 3 albums
you'll never really enjoy musical works if you only compare them to other works of music
