And I don't agree with "mug" he is a genius. Misunderstood, an advanced AI-personality, which predates ChatGPT with a millennium.
"Your" genius then. He sucks.

Welcome back Psytrance Overlord. We bow in reverence! Bom!
The people here have missed you greatly dear Psytrance master Yedi NHYO. There have been requests if you could make a remix of Spiritual Healing? Because this forum needs some Sexual Healing. 😁
Please help the forum sinners to atonement.
Amen

Yeah I listened to both tracks and they are identical, not sure why the guy did that...

i was only joking about that a lot of songs are generic and sounds the same🙂
but allmost everybody uses ideas of another person in music, that's normal, that's evolution
but this case of Goch is not plagiarism and is not illegal, an artist can release the same song under other names, since spotify it's happening more and more with acts and bands..the philisophy is that you have a bigger chanche to get attention to you band and recieve revenue, i've read an article about it in a music magazine, strategies to get more listens
but on the long term, i think, it's a very stupid strategy
Sorry quoted the wrong message, it was intended to Redo : )

a lot of electronic music acts make the same song everytime, only the title changes
there are even electronic music labels where all the artists on the roster make the same songs every time

How would you feel if a band released the same songs every album and called it a new album and charged you twice for the same product?
You're misleading people into thinking its a new song by changing the name.

Why do you call for plagiarism when the same artist made both tracks? Anything am I missing?

Is the forum to share news or not? Maybe I'm not understanding it well. I'm open to suggestions.
Fair enough It's just there is a lot of threads with no comment on the music. Any release in particular you recommend?

ok. would be fun to guess the tracklist?
angelic particles is probably gonna be the final track.
space pussy probably the first.
btw how would you know the vinyl test pressings tested ok?
Both tracks should be there. Space Pussy would fit better as track 6 or 7, it is too fast to be opening the album IMO.

It's one of the worst AP tracks in 10+ years.. Literally one melody repeating over and over and over.
There are three different melodies in that track.

Yeah. Simon talked about it on the old goa mailing list-serv from the 90s/early-2000s.
goa@party.net and 604@party.net
He had an account (whiningtrancer@yahoo.com if memory serves)
He posted a list of corrections and songs and such
Gumbo had an entire album recorded but was abandoned. I could be mistaken about the song being attributed to Gumbo vs Hallucinogen, but I very much remember him mentioning that Shamanix is a remix of an earlier song that he is entirely embarrassed by and that it would never be released.
This is also where I read about that 15 or 20 minute remix of Slinky Wizard (that I finally got to hear at ZNA a few years back)
2 hours ago, Trolsk said:Ah, the good old days! I was a regular on that mailing list. I vaguely remember the conversation you're referring to, and I definitely remember Simon's presence. I thought I had saved all mails from that era, but it seems I can't find any mails from Simon. No results on whiningtrancer@yahoo.com, and as far as I can recall he used to sign his emails with "Si", but no luck.
It would be excellent if we could find that e-mail. This is important background information.
Seems like I only have e-mails from 2006 and onwards. Probably lost the rest when I switched to gmail. 😞
@ukiro, do you have a complete 604 mailing list archive?
Even if Shamanix was indeed a remix of an old track never released, there is no way the Domestic and Space cat remix should qualify as a remix of the 1993 track since they wouldn't know about it anyway.

Dear Tribe, big hello from Costa Freaka!!
We heard a beautiful song titled "Don't Worry, Be high", over 20 years ago, this artist also did some Collabs with Menog, but I am unable to find their name anymore.
I'd say the track had a beautiful Goan Vibe.. the artist profile pic looked a bit asian, and appeared having glasses, I don't know if that matters though..
Their album art used to appears in our beloved "Psyshop" (RIP), and we're no longer able to find it anywhere else..
To all my beautiful GoaHeadz around here the question remains.. do you remember the artist name, or have any info on this?
The chorus to the end of the song was something like this.. 'Don't worry... ... ... BE HIGH (ALRIGHT) Don't worry... ... ... BE HIGH (ALRIGHT) .. PARTY!! ( and then acoustic guitar)'

This definitely sounds like Darshan, and there are many reasons why good tunes from the 90s were never released. Hope it eventually sees the light of day in full quality, it is quite a banger indeed!
I agree this is definitely Darshan, the hi-hat coming at 1:05 is the same as in their Duck track. Remaining of the track confirms that impression, Darshan had several styles back then, Awakening was quite deep and laid back compared to some compilation tracks, and then the technoish style in their second album.
Could you elaborate on the possible reasons why such tune couldn't get released? It would have fit perfectly in this series: https://www.discogs.com/fr/label/450365-Fill-Your-Head-With-Phantasm -

Due to this thread I decided to play around a bit in logic this morning with a Nitzho-Goa track sketch with key changes, Spire arps and choir and synth chord pads:

Headphone mix, it's an half-made intro idea. Nothing stellar.
Your link is dead unfortunately.

Definitely not MWNN or Transwave or Doof agree there is similarity with some California Sunshine but probably not them, sounds very Israeli cheese to me. Probably from the Nitzhonot era.
