I love meat. We have evolved for 250000 years by eating meat. It's in our dna. There's vitamins, aminoacids, proteins in meat that we can't get from vegetables.
Having said that I loathe the meat industry. They treat animals like inanimate objects. I'd much rather you go out and hunt for your meat than having these poor pigs live their lives in a cage, same as chickens. Only knowing pain. Psychosis.
I've seen pigs try to eat the metal bars in order to try to escape.. It's messed up.
We really do need to step up as a species and stop the suffering. Animals are intelligent, have feelings, and knows the difference between love and hate. And have the capacity for both.
Nothing makes my soul more happy than seeing animals be free and do what they want to.

cool find, that is indeed the same melody right there. coincidence perhaps? but ofc, like written above, the good stuff about gamma goblins is hardly the melody. thats like 12,5% of the whole thing at most.

sounds exactly like everything else. i couldnt differentiate you from 10 other "artists".
tbf, this is probably not the right place to post generic psytrance. imho.

its very likely its an eventide preset. but yep, its a reverse reverb. most reverb units have a preset like that.
i guess the reverb unit has to have lots of lookahead (delay), i guess sometimes its called pre-delay? tbh im not that familar. im sure the more common reverb plugins have such a thing these days. valhalla for example.
edit: no, pre-delay is simply the time it takes for the reverb to start. so has nothing to do with it. who knows how reverse reverbs work. 🫠

no in this case theres no octave jumps. just straight Kbbb. Yeah the kick is very basic

Could try that, do you mean like old Psykovski kinda bass? Link some song with that type of bassline/kick. And I'll check it out. ^^

Yes haha I began drinking coffee yesterday after a two month decaf. Needless to say the coffee has that effect on my hyper-active brain.
Let me know when you've tried out the Arturia Acid V. Interested to see what you think about it, it had some pretty cool factory presets to get an idea of the possibilities. It even had one preset witch might be a Goa inspired one named: Transwave.
As for the Photoshop/AI stuff, it's only a hobby of mine. I studied a lot of graphics design, animation, and photo related subjects. Things are changing so rapidly right now in that field, that I'm not even sure were the business side of it is heading. With the ample opportunities the AI-field in particular has opened for everyone to create their own stuff instead of paying some person for graphics design/photo studio. Although the quality is obviously all over the place. Back in the day I used to do posters for Psy/Goa parties. Now a days I'm not connected to the scene as I used to be.
How does this Dark Melodic sketch sound? Old school Talpa + Infected Mushroom research/inspo:
Parasphere-Casper(Remix)yeah AI in terms of graphic stuff is really a bummer. you can just type in what you want and it will create it. i imagine it killed lots of indie artists with that one
the casper thing sounded very nice except bassline and kick. replace that with a darker kick and a machinegun bassline and it would sound really good i think. love all that hallucinogen vibes. but kick and bassline do not fit with it, imho.

Headphones mix first test drive with the Arturia Acid V:
Sounds promising.
I don't remember about my profile picture, I didn't draw the lines myself, probably found a decent template and then worked on that.
But that's nothing compared to your designs they are always looking awesome... Hope you're selling your services cause you should. Also you sound a bit manic 🫠

Okay. But 7 days from when you start, not 7 days from now.. Just limit yourself to 7days and 4 mins.
I did found a "demo" version of arturia acid so I'm gonna use that.

Yep. But definitely every sound except drums and fx. Arturia acid looks cool, hope there's a demo.
7 days time limit? 4 min track length?

"This first 4-disc volume includes the two Hallucinogen albums, while the second 5-disc set available later in 2023 will feature singles from Dragonfly, TIP, and Twisted labels, as well as releases from various compilations. Remixes of other producers’ tracks will not be included, nor are collaborative compositions or remixes by others. What we have here is pure, essential Hallucinogen. " from bandcamp
Yep. That's the one. Any new news on it?

Any info on the hallucinogen singles remastered? Thought I read somewhere it would be rrealessd shortly after the albums remastered but googling gives me nothing

I think Joske, cronomi, Kali Earth and the global sect crew would be happy to put the word out to their artists.

My dreamteam for a compilation: Psynina doing a duet with Duvdev on the Autoune mic. And NHJO and Infected Erez shredding it on the keyboards.
On a serious note, it would be fun with a real compilation. However how many active users could we even bring to the project? It's probably dead on arrival.
We should open a new forum called Psy X-Factor, doing auditions for fame-seeking narcissists. I think people have deep-seated need for new deities, and we could cater to that need discovering new gods to be worshipped at the DJ altar.
Well in that case we have to get Avi Missim and Lior Swagmutter in on the project

I took your comment that "i suppose starting with the actual music would be better than thinking of names" to mean that we should start with tracks already out or at least make sure that there was a nucleus of a couple of good tracks to start with. I think it is a good point.
Aha I see. No I meant start from scratch by making some tunes. But perhaps THAt is what does not make sense atm 😋

Or perhaps it is best to work with tracks already out, as AstralProjection suggested above?
no i didnt suggest that... that wouldnt make much sense 🤨

Everybody retired from the Psynews scene, they got burned out.
hmm. i guess if we are not trying to take it seriously we should just give up before we start : p

I think that the title does count: if we have a concept to work with, then curation can begin. I like the idea of a dusty temple full of indecipherable relics, some memorial left behind by a long-vanished species.
yes, dusty old relics ala Stargate seems appropriate. the tracknames could be something like
Library of Alexandria - Book 3: Tome of ....
or Halls of Akashic Records - Item 2: Sphere/Stone/Gem of ....
or something similar. i mean, since we're going for cheese why not 😃
I am very familiar with the dead space games. Love them. But that thing/cult must have slipped my mind or slipped my playthroughs
anyway, something ancient and hidden seems like a cool theme.

"Halls of Amnesia" would be a great name...
or we can go even cheesier and call it something like " Akashic Records " (all hidden, forgotten and future/past knowledge) . or " Library of Alexandria " (knowledge that has been forgotten/deleted by time)
but maybe thats just too much damn cheese at once. i suppose starting with the actual music would be better than thinking of names - _ -
so, where/how do we start, whats the practicals here
