I say this in the most well-meaning manner, since I want this forum to be a nice space for every single member who contributes and makes this unique place what it is.
And btw I think you’re confusing the concept of Karma with Vengeance, retaliation and other confrontative actions.

This thread was about the music of your label, and people were wondering why the Crop Circles, Pleiadians and Etnica albums disappeared from all your labels platforms. And if the albums in question will come back?
I’m not sure if we got any satisfying answer to that yet? I checked now on Spotify, Youtube and Bandcamp. Still none of the mentioned albums/artists on there.
This is a very interesting point of view, the kind of things i love to discus. Certainly i wouldn't even think to go to wikipedia to find answers to "spiritual matters", i have tons of original books, but you are very right, this kind of talk is for another topic/forum. Thanks for your comment!
However i must clarify something!
I do NOT represent DAT Records (or any other label)!
I am just a DAT Records DJ and sometimes i do audio restoration on partially damaged rare tracks from Dat tapes.
That's all!What i write here are my personal points of view or just share some information.
I don't have to explain my self but i will do it, in order to understand better. So, I felt the need to defend my co-workers and friends (we worked for years together for the Unreleased Goa Project), as i would do the same for anyone that i call a friend! In the same way, i will always defend the weak against injustice, bulling or irony even if he's totally unknown to me. This is who i am and from all virtues i value justice as the highest one.PS: You can check all my posts here, i react in this way, only when i see others speak ironically or spread fake news. I really have a huge despise for such people and that's why i react like that. It is part of who i am and it can not be change for any reason or any person.

Well dear friend, i only wanted to mention the fact that almost everyone is on Facebook so we all do our works, communication, friendships etc. there... i have dozens of accounts on different sites but i rarely, or never, go there anymore, since literally everyone i know is on Facebook...
There, we have also groups, very similar to the forums but with a lot more options... i administrate 3 totally different groups and i have 4 personal professional pages there, so really, there is no time to go anywhere else (since we have personal life and other works in real life too) and the above applies more or less to many people i know.
I won't say that this kind of "monopoly" is good (because it is not!), but now it is like that.
I never meant to "suggest" that anyone should have Facebook.
....and by the way, it is Sunborn (Sun + born aka the one who is born from the Sun... for more info check on the ancient Egyptian mysteries

Federico or anyone else has NO obligation to come in every forum to explain his plans!However, he is notified and he will come at some point. For the moment i can assure you that he doesn't owe anything to anyone, and the Bandcamp page will be active again. Probably it will be a completely new page. At what time exactly i don't know, but at the end is nobody's business. For the moment the label is focused on the triple CD Total Eclipse release at the end of the month.

We already had them as MP3 years ago... but MP3's doesn't fit for a quality release...
last year i found WAV too... but not in the best possible quality...
so please yes, check your CDr and compare the spectrum of the tracks with the one that i upload...
if they are of higher resolution, then you are most welcome to send them to Federico for the release.

Most tracks came from our own DAT tapes archives (over 500 original tapes in total, from all members of Dat Records and Unreleased Goa Project), plus lot more from our collaborators (old collectors and DJ's) ...the rest are from the artists themselves :-)

Unfortunately, it seems that those tracks will never be released :-(
The names of the members are known to us, however we have to respect their decision to stay anonymous.
I do have at least 3 common friends with the guys, yet, neither me neither some other Greek friends managed to meet them, with one exception, a female friend, who spoke with one of the guys. He was very "cloudy", neither said "yes", neither "no", to any of the proposals, only said at same point that he might give us the tracks to do them what we want, after speaking with his partner. After that, he disappeared for a year or so, and the latest info i have (October 2019) is that he return to his family village, somewhere in Central Greece and become a farmer...
anyway, maybe is a good thing, some things to remain secret, who knows...

I never said the originals sounded old! Quite the contrary, actually - it's incredible what they've achieved and some sounds are more futuristic than what we have today.
i was talking about the old sound in general, not about the Pleiadians case...

I don't care if it's hard. If someone wants to re-do the old track, he should get the notes spot on. The main melody in Maia misses some of the notes and gets other wrong, so it's simply a sacrilege. It's like those amateur bands that play on weddings, where - on the surface - it sounds like the newest hit you hear on the radio, but on closer inspection the singer is unable to get to those higher-register notes, the keyboardist is too late and misses some notes and I'm pretty sure there was no accordion in the original. I've been making music on and off for over 20 years, so I know what I'm talking about.
If you can't do it properly, or do an actual remix that sounds different on purpose, then just don't do it.

when i mention old equipment this includes also (and mostly) the mastering tools...
but not only, as (not in the Pleiadians case) many "smaller" artists used cheap analog mixing consoles with maximum frequency 18Khz. so in that case, the master engineer can not do many things

Having quickly listened to it, I share your concerns - e.g. the classic eastern melodies of "Maia" are so tragically botched, that I'm afraid to listen further. So far it sounds like Pleiadians album being re-made (not remixed!) with a more modern sound (though I never heard anyone complaining about Pleiadians sounding dated...), but with a lot of simplifications and trivialisation of the nuances that made the original so great...
Hope it gets better later.You probably ignore some important facts here.
1- Those tracks made by EAR! no midi or audio files at all! As a musician i can assure you that very few musicians in the world can do this.
You have to be a real musical genius (or an extremely good copier, which is more or less the same thing, is a matter of genius). So it is very ok to not sound 100% as the originals. After all, this is the purpose of a RE-MIX, right?
2- Mauri himself stated that "this is how our tracks would sounded if we have today's equipment back then".
And to blow out the myth totally, the "old sound" sound as it sounds because of the lower quality equipment compare with today's standards.
What we want (unless someone is totally ignorant) is to have back the FEELING of the 90's, The imagination in production.
NOT the sound quality, which is horrible in most cases!
I personally always remaster the old tracks, not only in order to play them, but even to listen at home! As a true audio lover i want the maximum possible quality. And i can tell you most of them are reaching a whole new dimension! Hidden layers and buried melodies and real hi-hats suddenly revealed in your acoustic spectrum, giving you an outstanding experience and make you love those old diamonds even more!
After all, this is the REAL sound, as i hear it on Dat tapes and some studios during the 90's. So many released tracks which sounding interstellar on Dat tape, sounding like a crap on a vinyl or a CD. Simply, there is no compare.
...and the fact is that 99.9 of the old artists fully agree in all the above...

But also we call conservative, everyone who has a "narrow" view of things, or stacked in the rules of the past in a negative way, or is too critical, or is very easily offended and has no humor or good will, or is afraid everything new etc etc etc.... thousands examples!
As an extreme example, conservative people were the fanatics who burned witches, philosophers or scientists in the medieval times...
Another example, is how the American society treat the hippies in the 60's... or how they treat today the poor refugees in many of the (supposed) "civilized" western countries. Conservatism is Ignorance!
What i wanted to say in the post, is that people with similar attitude has NO place in the Goa trance scene, which is a scene for free minded people!
My post had nothing to do with PRESERVING old things that we all love, (in Greek, conserve and preserve has a totally different meaning... conserve is the negative aspect, while preserve is the positive one).

So, people... it is really disappoint to see how easy some of you are willing to disgrace a great artist and a beautiful soul (Kris) just to defend a cheater... so, i decide to publish few more evidence here (i have dozens!).
Why i do this?
1- Because i believe in a fair and honest world and i will NEVER-EVER stop fighting for it, against who ever maybe be!
2- Because it makes me sick and aggressive when the "problematic" part NEVER say "i am sorry", never try to apologize, but instead, play the super ego role "i am beyond everyone, i don't make mistakes, i will not humble my ego, i will fuck everyone instead to apologizes"!
Well, NOT this time dude, you mess up with the wrong Greek, and the only way to end this, is a PUBLIC apologize to ALL, and mostly to Kris and to the people who pre-order... This goes also to anyone support this shit. If you are a little bit of shame, if you have left a small piece of consciousness in your body, well, just buy the CD from Suntrip, thank God, Devil, Joske or who ever you want, and shut the fuck up to finally this story comes to an end!

As for the fact if it is an illegal release or not...
This i can also clearly confirm people, as i know Kris and happens to be aware of the situation from its first period.
It is NOT ILLEGAL. It is 100% legal!
Kris has got paid for this, and the album is courtesy of Anjuna Records, until the end of the contract (i think is until 2018).
In fact, in this case, Suntrip act like a redistributor of the release, and there is nothing wrong with it!
My concerns were of a different value, and had to do with the reaction of Tal against Kris and his behavior against people who pay for the album many months ago.
Nothing more!
...and btw i read something that is not true, about "anti-israeli"... This is not correct, anti-Tal yes, but not anti-israeli
It is true that i don't like the behavior of their government against Palestinians but this is another story, that has no place on Psynews.
I hope, i am clear enough on this...
