  1. The Harvestman Malgorithm 2012 and Rene are here

Make Noise Rene driving ARP Dual VCOs, Ring Mod out > VCO 2 FM input, VCO 2 Saw out > ARP VCF cut off CVin. Wogglebug Chaos adds CV to VCF cut off, Wogglebug Smooth VCO out modulates Rene X input for glides.
The only sound source, is the ARP VCF in self oscillation

Quick example of Malgorithm, sending in a simple sine wave to demonstrate harmonics generated

  2. Lots! With the right assortment of modules one can do so much. If you get an osc or 2 + a filter + vca + adsr + a logic module like maths or something and you're good to go. Also maybe a midi to cv module cant hurt.

Thats a pretty cool idea desysko. I bet someone has done something similar but perhaps not for goa trance specifically.

nice sounds as usual martian arts. How are you liking the mysterion?

Love it, still doing the basics as that patch I posted, but sounds great, most organic digital oscillator I've heard.

EMS diode VCF (white module, bottom left, custom job again) and the 9U is complete.

the thing that I know I am getting for sure for the last 3U is a Rene...I reckon the rest of the 40something hp I am keeping for modules that are going to be coming in and leaving, until I find something that I stays....could be a DPO...who knows.

  3. You'd be surprised where you get to play. I played Mojave desert, California, last week and I am glad they rented the gear for me and I didn't use my own. Some venues in Goa are also not very friendly for electronics...

Expect to play in small clubs with very limited space on stage.

Expect to play outdoors where there is so much dust, it almost covers every label on a CDJ...

    ...and everything in between.

Also, don't expect a party organisation to cover for any damage whilst performing. Most probably, they won't.

  4. its weird to see a pic of Martian Arts now since getting to spend lots of time at the campsite with him at Equinox. seeing a familiar face on the forum kind of thing ;p It was a pleasure ^_-

this thread reminds me that I still need to snap a picture of my pants I like to bring every festival.

Nice to meet you too brethren. Equinox was the bomb! Heard some brilliant Goa music as well and enjoyed dancing and getting lost to it :)

Also met Willsanquil who is a tropper! Flew from Portland to NYC and then drove for like, 10 hours to Asheville for the party!

  5. 148, except Portamento which is around 160 I think. But generally speaking, stuff that is at and above 150 I don't dislike because of BPM, but because of the style that comes with that range.

Same goes for the new stuff below 140. Prog sends me to the bar, as does dark.

  6. Boom was my first Eat Static experience at an event. Loved it! Btw I caught your set at Ozora. Loved it too 8) I heard the 'Karahana' rmx from the nearby food area (charging my camera a bit) and b-lined right to the dancefloor!!! See you next month at Equinox over here ;D

Nice one mate, see you on the other side :)
  7. Heh, they had something like that at Ozora and I too freezed until I realized what is was.

Saw this summer, Eat Static in Antaris and Ozora, chill out set as well.

Don't want to take anything away from the other legends that played fantastic sets, but his was the cherry on top. Proper psy-fi music, in every sense.

Can't wait for his new album.

  8. It could simply be that some artists use the full on basslines, because they just love them.

I heard tunes in his set that sounded very "modern" 16th bass and all but they had the distinct MWNN style. It sounded like he has new material on the way, but I can't say for sure ;)

He also played classics that did not have full on basslines, people reacted all the same, they danced.

Then again this was Antaris on its 20th year. There was a Kox Box retro set, Green Nuns retro set, Mike Maguire played the closing set and it was amazing! They don't book people based on the way they write their basslines ;)

Saturday morning was a blast from the past, line up had Kox Box retro, GNOTR and then MWNN. I loved my life in that festival...it was fuck!ng epic!
