  1. What a lucky find! I'd never thought of owning this album due to the ridiculous price. But a local Suomisaundi guy sold me NM copy for 50e...
  2. Connect Ohm's 9980 on Ultimae is deep without being pretentious. Maybe check that one out?
  3. They were awesome - I find they had patience to build the tracks in almost unrivaled fashion. I can't agree with Sam about 'Create Your...' being their only melodic standout though! How about? or...
  4. Maybe my album 'Surrounded By Surreality'... it's more forest/goa hybrid though so it might not suite you if you're looking for classic goa only.
  5. Now free to download on Ektoplazm: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/sab-kuch-milegator-surrounded-by-surreality
  6. Not sure about best... put the thread reminded me of this track: Listen to the part in 2:30 to hear what I mean

  8. I don't usually do DJ mixes these days, but when I do - it's gotta be da Aikahattu outdoors festival here in Finland. As you may have noticed, also Paul Eye posted his own mix here, so you definitely get a good picture what was going on in those two magical friday and saturday nights... The internet is honestly saturated with Goa (or take any genre) mixes these days and I don't claim this particular mix to be somehow *so* different from what you've heard before. A few unreleased, a few vinyl only and classics by Oforia, Orichalcum, Toi Doi and the likes. Enjoy.
  9. The guy is asking you a simple favour, for the love of God please do add it on Discogs to end this matter.
  10. Bought two copies! Full support. Always wanted to have 'I'm Shocked' as a mastered version, one of the few "goa unreleased" tracks that always were special before. e: What a bummer. This version of 'Im Shocked' lacks... sigh, just about everything! The one from the liveset is lightyears better.
  11. Why is it you guys like to talk about music you don't like instead giving the attention to something that's worth your while? It's just silly how many great releases get totally discarded and then the only topic that has any replies, on the biggest psyforum of this planet, is about something that is derivative/bad.
  12. Hey I agree that forest is never 100% luminous, yet on the chart you represented the line shows it would differ from 100% dark to 50/50 dark/luminous. Or is it not? I would agree the recent Hux Flux isn't forest, the stuff he was churning out for the past few years. But the old stuff! He's one of the guys who were there to invent the whole thing with his 'Cryptic Crunch' album. The last really great forest track he made is in my books 'Post 100' from 2006. I do agree with Pauli Ozrics aren't Proto-Goa. It's easy to drag them into discussion because of the obvious Eat Static connection. Then again you could as easily say many acid house/techno tracks from the 1980s are Proto-Goa in such context. But they aren't. Proto-Goa is somewhat precise style with obvious goa melody/bassline, usually just lacking more serious psychedelic soundscape. A lot of it is released on 12" records on Belgian/German labels and it takes dedication to know this music. Here's a couple examples:
  13. I don't agree with the dark/luminous argument of forest psytrance. It can be very luminous like Imaginary Sight, old Hux Flux or my last album for instance.
  14. I'd like to update that I was travelling in Southern Africa for a month hence this album has been "sold out" for a while. However, there are still copies left and you can purchase the album on bandcamp again. Thank you for supporting and helping me fund the future SKM releases! -Ridge
  15. RIP Dennis, your music gave a lot of joy & inspiration to all of us.
  16. @tsotsi Thanks a lot for taking the time and writing a review. It's encouraging and inspiring to receive even some feedback now and then. I'm very glad you enjoyed the music! @redo Haha it's my humour but all things aside, it's unfortunate to hear you couldn't enjoy the music due to the samples. Maybe next time!
  17. For easy streaming the full album is now up on youtube in HD quality:

  21. Hiya! Here's my 3rd... Sab Kuch Milegator - Surrounded By Surreality 1. Surrender To Surreality (Intro) 01:20 2. Extrapyramidal Twerking On A Pyramid (Rmx) 11:31 3. Twistortion Rodeo 11:24 4. Caramel Carousel 09:00 5. First You, Then Others & 3rd Eye 11:59 6. The Point Of No Yes No (Overwrite Engaged) 12:28 7. Disorient Express 07:48 8. Gringrinder 11:48 https://sabkuchmilegator.bandcamp.com/album/surrounded-by-surreality This is the 3rd album by Sab Kuch Milegator. It's been a mountain of work, 1000+ hours in front of the computer killing my upper back + shoulders! x) I reckon this is more mature and developed album than my previous ones. I've tried to make journey-like, alive tracks that keep on surprising you till the very end. Stylistically I'd place this between forest and Goa trance - I'd like to say it's pushing the envelope for both genres. Lastly I'd mention that one of my main goals composing this album was to fill the whole frequency range - quite much the only way to make complex music without sounding irritating or tiring the listeners ears. The album art is made by Hilla Österberg with additional art design by Void, Tyhjyys. Mastering is made by Colin 'OOOD' Bennun. If you want to support me by buying the album, keep in mind that the 15e for the (limited 100 copies factory pressed!) physical CD copy INCLUDES shipping.
  22. Nhjo "Bill Gates" Hyennro strikes again.
  23. I wonder why none of these were included? DAT 4 “Etnica Test 95” 1995 / Source: Etnica archives, Ibiza 1 – Etnica – Elevator 7:34 2 – Etnica – Axid 6:37 Maybe there is a connection with the track ‘Acid Shell’, released the same year. [kwulf] 3 – Etnica – Ecnart 6:54 4 – Etnica – Liquid Brain 5:53
