    May I ask what your influences are? I loved the first track, since it has such a big West Asian influence, it reminds me so much of Iranian/Iraqi traditional music.

    The second sample on the other hand sounds like pure Space Trance and an awesome track to dance, almost as Dimension 5 wanted to go more straightforward.

    Also the fifth sample was spacey, but more trippy and mellow, which I really enjoyed.

    The eigth sample (starting around 9:55) sounds so old-school, but transported into modern times.

     

    As you can see, I can't wait for the full album. Can you tell me, when and where it's going to be released? :)

    Hi, thank you for such a positive feedback :) My original influence was from Astral Projection. Also from esoteric, mystical themes.                                                                                                            Regarding the release details of this album, I am waiting for a proper label offer at the moment, or will release it myself soon.

    Astral Projection - Goa Classics Remixed

    Like many other fans of AP, has been waiting for their new album for many years, but still nothing.

    Now these remixes,well not bad, but quite inferior to their old tracks and it sounds really digital IMO.

    AP was using the real analog gear before and their sound was warm and organic,so another reason of some

    disappointment here.

    New remixes can't compare to AP's old tracks IMHO. The most of their old stuff is absolutely exceptional and honestly I think no other track compare to them, for many reasons. Even if they will not release some new tracks, what they already did is enough for ultimate respect. You can't really expect from artists to have the same very special creativity period as they had long time ago...

    I have listened to vast amount of Psy/Goa trance tracks for more than 15 years, but Astral Projection's old tracks make me to consider them as the best in the genre, in terms of depth, harmony, theme development, production level and feelings they bring. I think their old albums are absolutely enough for lifetime respect of this artists. Their music isn't just another boom boom of 4/4 beat, but it's a fantastic trip to mind blowing sound dimensions.

     

    Can't say the same about some of their new tracks, but I do understand why that happened, so it's really OK.
