  1. Different strokes :drama:

I like them by themselves I just think it doesn't really fit well with the rest of the album, kinda like it branches off into something else.

Woulda been better suited on compilations i reckon

  2. Yeah for sure.

But it's old infected-style melodies thankfully, and they kick ass.

Did you guys notice how many claps he has instead of snares hehe

That could maybe be considered a bit cheesy but its all about how you use it.

It works really well for the most part (esp. the magus)

Only tunes I don't like much are the last two and thats cuz theyre very dancefloor orientated and not as interesting as the rest

    Awesome album overall though

  3. hehe its cool payam. 'cheesy' is like yahel, new infected, dali, and stuff like that.

but yeah some of it is hard to digest, have you heard his other albums?

    also 7 rulz

  4. Interesting concept and good music, but I also don't like the over-use of politics in trance.

Especially talk about finance and shit like profit motives I mean that's the last thing you really wanna hear at a party.

But then again some of it sounds pretty sweet, like track 3. And it's better than cliched drug samples.

I think it would have been better if he went more into subliminal messaging (and more 1984 samples (and no singing))

Good album though, he's got a unique style and it's recommended to anyone into gothic-darkish kinda trance.

  5. Not sure what Damien was on when he wrote that review, but this isn't nearly as good as he described it.

It's quite better than most fullon, but it's definitely nothing groundbreaking or special.

Well thought out and conceived, but really, I don't understand what all the fuss is about.

  6. Nice review abasio.

I've only heard the samples so far, so I won't comment on the music, but what a crappy cover

I know it doesn't really matter, but that looks terrible.

He should've made the top half black and the bottom half white with just 'electrypnose' in the white part written in virgin's blood.

Or some red font that looks like it was smeared.

    Awesome producer though.

  7. I don't quite agree, but to each his own.

Stand out tracks (hits?) for me are Oh my, The Humming, Eye of The Beholder + probably Free Range.

Those are tracks that I think (know) will go off on a floor most ... and that I'd like to see live most.

The rest is probably a bit too chilled or weird to really be played in a full on set (or to be enjoyed in a full-on state of mind) ...

  8. Got this album a bit late.

But I just have to say, this is some of the best psy I've heard in ages.

An amazing achievement in terms of artistic vision and production skill.

HUGE props to Colin and the crew.

I can't think of any reason to not give this CD full marks.

  9. And your "reason" for disliking dark tunes is as retarded as it gets.

So you don't like dark tunes because they don't have enough melodies.

Well maybe try listening to melodic trance. There's way more melodic acts than dark acts anyway.

If you dislike dark tunes what are you even doing here.

Do you expect that all those producers conform to your vision ? Why should they ?

What exactly makes your musical preference better than ours ?

@Cybernetika: sorry but this guy is harshing my buzz with his lameness. I'll try keep quiet now.

Much respekt for the tunes, I've only heard two so far but I'm sooper amped to hear more.

  10. Chis your ignorance is quite astounding.

You have to realize that producers in general don't make music for you.

They make it for themselves and people like themselves that like similar sounds.

    OK?

So in other words you're not the only guy that listens to trance.

Not everyone thinks the way you do and enjoy the kinda tunes you do.

If you can't understand this very basic concept then I suggest you go fuck yourself.

I don't go about on backstreetboys.com forums telling them how shit their tunes are,

because I know that it's not my style and I recognize the fact that the target audience

    is NOT me.
