  1. love it symphoid, especially the orchestral theme.

whatever downpoints the track features there are so minor one has to specificly listen for them, and are therefore only worth metnioning for the complete perfectionist.

personally is love the whole mix of orchestral influences and electronica, and although perfectly fitted for games and movies, this song holds up perfectly without beong backed by those visuals, for a track so remindfull of a soundtrack to envoke those images without the accompinement (SP?) of these visuals is just class A work

  2. excellent stuff people.

been doing some research of my own, and the sixdegrees label (banco de gaia) has some very nice comps:

    the arabian travels (1 &2)

cheb i sabbah (although more eastern then middle eastern)

all electronic, but more "authentic" based then a lot of hte psy chill releases.

and aah yes of course how could i have forgotten toires amazing music :)

  3. nice!

been looking for middle eastern stuff accually, found natascha atlas who has a beautifull voice, but apart from the marc eagleton project i found her work to much hip hop influenced.

does anyone one know of some more middle eastern (influenced) music, doesnt have to be electronic hybrid or anything at all

  4. he devious, a bit off -topic, i too have the holy mushroom vinyl and while bought cheaply second hand it's not in great condition (although not bad at all..), the begginig of "Etnica-Mystical Appearance In Goa" seems recorded awfully low in volume.

you have the same problem with your copy or just my luck on the pressing?

  5. great it's back!

    good job mars.

and yes, when it was on line again, and i read the temporary banning and rules i too felt:"hey WTF?, thats not right, i might just leave, he toke away the freedom of the place"

calming down i realised that that was BS, your right, some rules need to be here.

some people just immediatly speak their heart, some wait and see that their first reaction were a bit over active.

i too come here for the off topic nonsense, i lost interest i most "modern" trance music a along time ago, but coming here and shooting crap is always nice, talking about trance doesnt interest me, talking with people from around the world (or at least reading their comments) does interest me, i am sure this will continue, we just need time, and through your efforts, the time the forum needs to heal itself is minimal.

i respect the effort you put into this, and i can only hope that people that felt offended with your harsh reactions (ttue or untrue is not important here), realise that the people make the forum, not the rules.

    Review:

This must be the most psychotic cd in my collection. The first couple of

times you listen to it, most of it seems random noise, and out of rhythm and

harmony. But then you listen some more and patterns emerge from the chaos,

and it becomes dark, sinister music. Most of it might be energetic but it is

not danceable, because of the complex breakbeats and al the weird little

bassy tones that fly through the songs. It's extremely hard the discribe the

music, but the best way would probably that this could be the soundtrack to

some stage/movie version of A Brave New World (A.Huxley), dark doomsday

scizophrenic future sounds, that will show you a world filled with

masshysteria, rain, dark big city's and gloomy gnomes that rip up your

speakers as they try to come out of it. It' a mixture of breakbeats, dark

trance sounds, weird little melodies and a lot of bass sounds. For anyone

    that want's something frightening weird!

  7. This is good stuff! old, slow, but powerfully pumping on like a diesel engine!

They have a really weird style and i must say i don't know if i would get it

if i didn't know supermindway, but since i do i can hear the way they try some

of the stuf they didi there here but can't really grasp it yet. It's like

some strange Underworld gone completely stoned and freaked out, the way they

use one little highpiched sound and bring you into some kind of hypnose.

    once again good old stuff!

  8. This is the best. For anyway still addicted to screaming 303's try and get

this one!!!!!! The album is complete madness and keeps on rocking till the

very end. Real kick and energy, and squeeky melodies all the way, this is the

kind of sound that got me interested in Psy from the very first time. It

pumps on and on and on and on, it screeks, bleeps, blows, blasts and rocks!!!

    10/10

  9. If you like Anime (Japanese cartoons/manga) This stuff will probably apeal to

you. It has the same strange combination of happiness, harshness and sudden

unexplainable humor in it, wich makes it really interesting, but for the ones

not totally known with this strange Japanese style of making stuff completely

incomprehensible and they might consider this utter crap.

Whenever you feel happy and you want to hear hyper- active completely thick

pasted sound blasts of weirdness put this on and be blown to pieces.

Certainly not an album for every-day listening, but when in the mood, a

favourite, go try it out if you like stuff like texas faggot, you will

    probably be positively surprised.

I like true better then this, it's more dark, but one can certainly not put

this off too easily as just the product of a deranged Anime freak, they is

more to it then might apear at first listen.

  10. at first i only liked a couple of tracks .Saturn,Jupiter 8000, i knew them from

comps. and the rest from the album just really annoyed me. i found it simple

and clubby. But once again it proved itself (like so many psy-albums) after a

couple of more listens. His style is quite refreshing, OK it the same during

the whole CD, but it sounds good, a bit of simple breaks on it a really good

groove and in some way psychedelic. You can hear alot of house/techno

influences on this, and for me this is the perfect home listening album just

but it in and let the energetic beats flow over you. Mind you that not engery

in the way get up and fly out of the window stuff, but just groovy at times

relaxed at times gets you move kinda beats. It's good sounds really electric

and i can recommend it to any-one that is open for a bit of housy-psy into his

    ears.

    Spacemonkey - 604

  11. This is great stuff, let it grow on you because it's highly sapce material. At

first listen i liked it but found a bit standard, but once you are used to the

way, he uses his melodies an build-ups, which is slow, but fast interacting

riff an melodies and sound, put on sound, it really gets you, this stuff just

    really takes you away.

  12. You could call, at least some of the tracks, psychedelic industrial, but that

term would lack the speed and full-on power of the insane, dark melodies. It's

does however give an indication, of the hard and darkside of this music, which

is over-all there. The songs are packed with sreechy sounds, and it's a

full-on noisyness that gives the songs the extra power. This album just simply

rocks, and it's one of the few good dark-melody releases that i know of. For

one into dark heavy shit, just run and buy if you can still find it, for

any-one who doesn't love this: you are missing out on one hell of a

    dark-speedfilled-pumping-blasting-thundering release!!!!!!! 10/10

  13. fast...wicked...enlighting...blasting beats....sreeching

    melodies......insane....party....happy.....fuck-up....old-school....delirious..

    ..emotion-driven....laughing.....wonderfull....space-out....funky...full-on...

this shit is the best 10/10 at least just open up, any one who takes

himself, his life-style or his music to seriuos is not to be trusted, well if

that is true you can trust upon the fact that these guys are 1000% trust

worthy in making the best party-smileonyourface music on this planet.

  14. at first I too did not like it but give it some time and you will find the

really strong energy that is put into this album. And if you listen really

good i can hardly call this minimal there are so much different sounds in it!

This album just really rocks my mind and it's a sure killer, just open up and

try not to stick too much to the old sounds alone, they are great but

something different from time to time can be great too, you can at least say

they evolve. the ambient tracks on the album (the last four) are really well

produced and especially The Beast Man rocks, the beautifull sounding guitar

and then that apocaliptic voice ....just great!!!

  15. Realy great!!!!!!! If you like 60/70's space rock then buy this.....it's space

rock made in the year 2000 following a goa path.

It realy blows your mind away, at first it may seem a bit strange, but after a

while the wierd constantly changing sounds realy get you. Galactic(6) is my

absolute favorite, the melody in it just bends your mind man!!!! 9.5/10

  16. It's growing on me.....slowly....but surely.......it's coming in like a comet,

first it's small and distant but then it becomes larger and larger, until the

point of no return, when it hits the surface of your brain and it fires it up

like a vulcano doing it's usual business of rampage and destruction.

I bought this album after reading the reviews on this site and when I first

listened to it, I didn't like it that much. I diceded to read some more

reviews , to stimulate me in hearing things I might had overlooked. Then I

found to look beyond it's seeming simplicity and "read in between the lines"

and found an intricate and delicate sound that's weaven through-out the album,

sometimes hearable, sometimes created by the silence between the other sounds.

This man has succeeded in creating something more delicate then your average

album, instead of letting the sounds take you to another dimension, he creates

the opportunity and space for your brain to fly away by itself and only

stimulates your emotions in a real subtle way. It might not always be great to

listen to, but taken in at the right time, it's magic!

  17. OH...MY...GOD!!!!!!!!This kicks ass!!I can not understand why anyone that is

into goa would not like this or can say it is outdated. This is the Ultimate

Goa Experience!!! Hard, psychedelic, strange noises all the way, nice

melodies. And all these sounds that seem to be falling away and then start

coming back if you don't expect them to be there anymore!! For me this album

is one of the reasons I listen to Goa, and i can only say buy this and try it

    out!! 10/10 UX RULES!!!!
