{psy.ology} records brings you the debut EP of South African psychedelic producer, Zezia. Signed to PsynOpticz Productions, Zezia is one of South Africa's most up & coming artists and he has been producing music for the last 7 years.
ZEZIA EP consists of 5 tracks full of driving melodies, indestructible basslines with insane wobbly electro-vibe grooves in-between moving percussion and high energy synths.

Hypnotic drumming calls from the forest floors. A sweet and sticky potent heat coats the leaves and bark. Drenched in ritual and percussive journeying, the tribe is bound by organic beats and squawking animal cries. Deep hypnotic chanting, this is the earths audio magic. Bare feet pounding in unison. The army of dancers. Sweat and fire light illuminate the night in the most natural elevation of spirit. Beyond our bodies, play our souls over and underneath the bass-line, weaving and undulating higher levels of social consciousness. These are the chosen ones. Thick within the canopy of the jungle lies the playground of the tribe, the feathered and beaded midnight culprits of hedonistic pursuits. POIZON (Timecode) PORTUGAL
PoiZon Project was born in Portugal in 2002, created by Adelino Afonso and Mário Rodrigues. Two long time friends that soon developed their music fascination and soon got in touch with techno and trance partys, where electronic music passion first arose!! Quickly they joined together in this project, taking it more and more seriously each day!
Since the moment they acquired good studio equipment, they were allowed to increase the quality of their productions and also enhance more and more their working techniques and music style,which is mainly defined by its strong bass lines,deep melodies,and a lot of obscure noises...making of PoiZon project a heavy sound style at some points.
Poizon played at lot of partys around Portugal but in the beginning of the year 2009, after joining one of the most respected labels in the psy-trance scene in the world - Timecode Records - they started being recognized internationally!!

SUB-ZERO (PsynOpticz/Phonix) PORTUGAL
Sub-Zero is the solo project of Adelino Afonso born in 1984 in Coimbra (Portugal). Since his childhood, Adelino always had a strong relation with music. At 13 he got his first electric guitar and with it the need to create his own music.
In the year 2000 Adelino started going to techno and psy trance parties. There he found his electronic musical language. He started Djing and experimenting with various sequencers such as “E-jay” and “Fruity loops” with which he learned the basics of electronic music production.
During the year 2002 Adelino joined forces with his friend Mario Rodrigues (Droidbeatz) and created a project that is now known as “Poizon”, one of the most promising acts from the psy trance scene in Portugal today.
After some years of gaining musical and production knowledge, Adelino created the project that was originally known as “Reset”, as a way to explore different psychedelic fields. His music is defined by low rolling fat basslines, classical psychedelic synth work, intricate percussive rhythms, imaginative noises from synthesizers and lots, lots more ...
Sub-Zero joined PsynOpticz Productions in 2010 spreading his unique & driving psychedelic trance to grateful dancefloors on distant shores.
