  1. Ok, I've been listening a LOT lately, cycling through many many tracks trying to find the perfect one to compliment my set.  As you can see I've borrowed heavily from certain albums some of you will recognize.

I'm happiest when I find two that seem to almost flow right into each other.  Not all of these do that perfectly but..  So far though this is what I've come up with.

What do you guys think??  It's not complete & I'm still not sure about a few.  I still have to figure out how to close it out.  Anyone have any suggestions for tracks 8,9...  or maybe even possible substitutions/improvements.  I almost went with pleaiadians-zeta reticuli instead of babylon 'n ting.  Thinking its kind of nice not to have them in every single comp.  Any suggestions welcome!  ;)  Oh, & I know I've gone green nuns berserk!

1.Green Nuns of the Revolution - Two Vindaloos & An Onion Bhagee

2.Slinky Nuns - Shitty Stick (Better Than A Poke In The Eye With A)

    3.Syb Unity Nettwerk - Morphogenesis

4.Syb Unity Nettwerk - Cosmo Shiva

5.Green Nuns of the Revolution - Megallenic Cloud

  2. I'm totally addicted to Indigo Egg's Ixland. It has those kewl aaaahhhh voices in it and it doesn't sound 'electronic' at all, rather warm and 'analogue' (I'm not trying to start a digital synths vs analogue synths thread ;)) which makes the whole track sound 'full and thick'. I'd really like to hear some other similar ambient but I don't know where to start. Maybe that some of you can help me out? Oh yes, I already know TIP's Mystical Experiences :)

    Thanks in advance.

  3. Hi.

Could someone give me the .pdf manual? I bought the MWXT on ebay but the manual isn't included and I can't download it on the waldorf website either.

    Thanks in advance.

    edit:

I already found it on vintagesynth.org

And it doesn't look ugly at all! It has a rather rusty orange brown colour. (it even feels a bit rusty... :)) Just lovely!

  4. I have absolutely no idea :)

I have a near mint condition copy lying here. It's not my cup of tea so I'm thinking of selling/trading it. I've seen it on ebay for approximately $40, but that was the Japanese version.

Can someone tell me how much it is worth? Thanks.

  5. I second the suggestion of getting a nordleadsince its a simple synthesizer to use and thus good for an aspiring artist. Alternatively the access virus b is also available used at a decent price. Also check out ebay for a jp8000. Great synth, wish i had one myself :-D

These synthesizers are widely used for all kinds of trance. Some people claim they are overused. It is my opinion however that it isnt the synths themselves that result in the generic music coming out but how people use them in their compositions. Hope this info is usefull. Good luck in your search :)

  6. dear crazy boris...

listen...that is the diffrence between me,who making music from the heart with a lot of an old goa spirit and emotion...and between somebody who try to bring something new all the time...that sound so clearly like now days music...

when i make music...i dont try to bring something new with the melodies...or to be surprising like a birthday presnet...when i am making music it is came from what i feels...and i want the music to be with an emotions, but not cheezy, just like the old goa tune...

thats why i makes music not for MONEY...just for me...and for the pepole who likes my music...so simple as u can see...

    KEEP THE OLD GOA TUNE....

    hi

you should make the kind of music you like (of course) and that's what you obviously do. as long as you have fun doing it. and i suppose you do. maybe i'm misunderstanding you, but it seems like you are saying that people who are trying to be innovative don't make music "from the heart"?

i respect you and others like you for putting your music on the net for free. i don't think i could do that :)

  7. Nice track but I wouldn't call it a masterpiece ;) I liked your previous one too. The build ups are similar and imo a bit to predictable too, which is a bit of a shame 'cause I think that there's a lot more you could do with this track.

The whole sounds a bit thin, but I think that's due to VST's. I wondered how it would sound with (80's analogue :)) hardware synths.

    Keep 'em coming afgin! ;)
