Just downloading them, haven't listened yet. Can't wait.

Penzoline: I've found many classics from huuto.net, and cheap as well. For example my copy of Juggeling Alchemists cost me 10 euros. People don't know what they are selling there.
So search for some oldschool artists or labels there now and again, maybe you'll find something

Ceebrolistics - Ö
Jedi Mind Tricks - The Psycho-Social, Chemical, Biological & Electro-Magnetic Manipulation of Human Consciousness
Jedi Mind Tricks - Legacy of Blood

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. No doubt about it.

I found this artist in the good old mp3.com days. Awesome oldschool goa with incredible and original melodies. I really hope draeke succeeds in contacting the person behind this awesome music

Hey that Kalumet cover is awesome!

I guess what ruined it for me is that I found better (and much, much more psychedelic) music. Almost all psytrance started to sound boring. There are like under 20 psy/goa artist albums that are worth listening. The rest seems crap. On a normal week I listen to about 30 albums, and maybe one or two of them are trance.
Examples of albums that I still am able to enjoy:
Pleiadians - IFO
Total Eclipse - Delta Aquarids
Procs - The Lonely Land of Tada
Koxbox - The Great Unknown
Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite
Also I've started to hate the fact that every trance album is almost 80 minutes long. That's too much boomboom for me. Shorter tracks with the same amount of ideas and creativity -> less boring music.

Saurian Meditation is an excellent album! Really takes you to another place and time! Haven't heard the other but I guess I have to try it some time.
Death metal is not my cup of tea though.
-
Dragon Tales and The Great Unknown are one of those rare psy/goa releases I haven't gotten tired of. Unique, timeless, extremely complex and beautiful music.

Ordered some really obscure stuff from Some Place Else. They had a sale so I couldn't help myself. Mostly ambient, dark ambient and neofolk stuff.
Contemplatron - Antarabhãva / The Six Realms
Stephan Friedman - Music For Theatre
Silence & Strength - Opus Paracelsum
Protoplasmic Reversion - Sunken Temples
Crossbred - Dead In Her Drum's Rhythm
Rose Rovine E Amanti - Early And Unreleased Songs
Nekyia - Purgatory As The Serpent Domain
Axone & kNOw - Night Of Deliverance
Many of them are cdr, limited to 100 or so and hand-numbered. Only two were in a standard jewel case, others in some strange cardboard cases.

Juno Reactor - Beyond The Infinite

Hmm. I think the top 9 is currently like this
Pleiadians - IFO
Hallucinogen - Twisted
Koxbox - Dragon Tales
Filteria - Sky Input
Etnica - Alien Protein
Dimension 5 - Transdimensional
Planet Ben - Trippy Future Garden
Total Eclipse - Delta Aquarids
Koxbox - The Great Unknown
The following albums could appear on the list now and again:
Psychopod - Headlines EP
Krumelur - Minimal Animal
Juno Reactor - Bible Of Dreams
Mandalavandalz - Hong Kong Knightlife
Eat Static - Science Of The Gods
Double Dragon - Continuum
Beat Bizarre - Lewd

Electric Universe - One Love
Etnica - The Juggeling Alchemists Under The Blacklight
Ubar Tmar - Macrometasomakosmos
Ra - To Sirius

Updated my list

Hmm. For me the best suomi albums are (in no particular order):
Texas Faggott - Petomans Peflett
Squaremeat - Jungle Boogie Party Line
Mandalavandalz - Hong Kong Knightlife
Torakka - Far Out Express
Also the first ever finnish psytrance album, Flippin' Bixies - Sörkkä Sonic deserves a mention.

-
I think Jungle Boogie Party Line is better, in fact it's one of the strongest suomisoundi albums IMO.I love this album, just got a physical copy myself not long ago, together with Wave Soup, which actually impressed me even more!
-
VA - Custom File (Exogenic Records)
Squaremeat - Jungle Boogie Party Line (Exogenic Records)

Eraserhead
in Movies
This is the second most disturbingly strange movie I've seen. Only second to Subconscious Cruelty.
Though of course Eraserhead is superior to Subconscious Cruelty as a movie.

As this thread was for electronic music only, here's the first ones to pop to mind (as records that everyone should hear):
Biosphere - Shenzhou
Brian Eno - Ambient 1: Music For Airports
DJ Shadow - Endtroducing
Future Sound Of London - Dead Cities
Goldie - Timeless
Harold Budd - The White Arcades
Jean-Michel Jarre - Oxygene
Klaus Schulze - Mirage
Kraftwerk - Trans-Europe Express
Leftfield - Leftism
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
The Orb - U.F.Orb
Pan Sonic - Kulma
Portishead - Dummy
The Prodigy - Music For The Jilted Generation
Tangerine Dream - Phaedra
Tangerine Dream - Rubycon
Venetian Snares - printf("shiver in eternal darkness/n");
+
Pete Namlook & Klaus Schulze - The Dark Side Of The Moog 10 (hard to choose from the masterpieces)
For all kinds of music my list would be too long to write now
And people, don't diss rap (or any other genre). Every type of music has it's pearls and it's crap. Though some genres have more pearls, and some have more crap
