  1. K people, I'm closing this and counting the results. Stay tuned!
  2. Just wanted to share this funny but serious Crockett's Theme cover with you. What starts off as a mediocre cover, goes really loose and bezerk after the mid mark.
  3. I'm sorry it's not goa, but those first 30 minutes are godlike.
  4. Ooo, the samples sound delicious! Pretty sure this is a purchase right off the bat. Good job!
  5. It's like people finally start wiping their asses. Considering everything, it was fun to watch.
  6. A fellow pharmacist? Hang in there bro. Crazy times huh.
  7. I have a pharmacy and still encounter coughing people with sore throats at the counter. Man, they know they should first call the doctor and then come with a prescription or send somebody else. I even have a huge information flyer hanging outside on my window saying "not to come in when you're sick". Doesn't matter. I got sick a few days ago, got myself tested at the doctors and just heard it's negative. Otherwise 1 week of quarantine. Would be a logistic mess. Now I was home for two days until the results came in. It's a whole new life were in now. And it all happened almost overnight. Tuesday, when the newspapers said paracetamol was "good", our pharmacy was steamrolled by hamsterers (only 2 at a time of course). That day felt surreal, I really lost it for a while there. Unbelievable. Everyone got 1 box of paracetamol, although many asked for more. Madness it was. Luckily things are slowing down now. Let's see it from here ...
  8. Wonderful, thanks man! Looking forward to dig deep into their catalog.
  9. Bump! Really no one? At least can someone give me some pointers in the direction of something like: Deep Dish - Yoshiesque series (from 1999)
  10. I'm revisiting this album and luckily I did! My first impression was an old school feeling that was too old school. But listening to it a couple of times and in deep, i's really enjoyable. Quality story telling and some highly psychedelic tracks. I've decided to put it in my top 10 of 2019. yep!
  11. Back in the 90s I downloaded some stuff labaled as goa trance, bought some Goa Trance albums see https://www.discogs.com/label/455972-Goa-Trance-2 Later on I noticed that all tracks on those comps were made by the same person... At that time I was heavily into regular uplifting trance, untill I heard Sky Input. That was the turning point. Add the first E-Mantra and Artifact303 albums to it, and I was addicted.
  12. Wow, just wow! I'm glad to be here. Congratulations to everyone here on Psynews!!!
  13. Haha, yeah maybe a bit too early. It's a lot to digest I know. We can always edit our chart to make changes along the way. Let's take some time to do this.

  15. I scrolled through the tracks in a hurry on bandcamp and must say it didn't stick to me. The tracks are rough and monotonic throughout their length. I'm looking for something warmer. Not to say this is a great effort, putting 3 CD's of norwegian goa trance together. ;-) I'll have a better listen though. Might change my opinion about some tracks.
  16. I'm going for that Atlantis album due in january. Immersion in deep space. Can't wait!
  17. This album shows immensely the essence of Goa Trance. Anything is possible! Goa Trance is not supposed to follow a formula, not supposed to be generic, but innovative, different and just plain fun! Here we get massive amounts of fairies, angels, floating sounds, chord changes, bouncing basslines and much more. Yep, this is a euphoric, happy and pleasant album of music by Pete and Pan. I witnessed them live at Ohm Gathering in Belgium not so long ago and I remember it was the most outstanding revelation. Something different! Very trancy! The whole album breathes the same happy atmosphere. And if I have to pick a favorite: Tantric Tweak. Man that track is phenomenal. Just the right amount of happiness and heavy basswork. Really great great job you guys. I'm enjoying this enormously. Purchasing now.
  18. Happy New Year to all of you! While I'm not that active anymore, but I try, I check this place everyday! To me this is THE portal to all information on good goa trance. May Psynews forever be around!

  20. Artist: GoaD Title: Hypnotic Mirage Label: Neogoa Records Release: Dec 2019 (digital), Jan 2020 (CDR) Tracklist Part 1 - Hypnotic Mirage 1. Flight Prelude 03:01 2. Two Bright Lights 06:57 3. By the end of 2019 we have had a huge amount of quality goa releases. Suntrip, Goa Madness, Global Sect, ... they all delivered big time. I'm still in the process of listening and eh well... processing what the talented goa artists gave us this year. Reviews will be added to the threads shortly. Yet an unexpected appearance in 2019's goa catalog made me write a (short) review so you are sure not to miss it. And buy it! Neogoa records sometimes shoots a limited CD release to us and this time its GoaD's Hypnotic Mirage. Immediately when I heard the samples I felt this was an outsider amidst all the goa violence we got this year. Danish Anders Munk manages to melt old school sounds with a warm and thick hypnotic spectrum of sounds. And "hypnotic" is the key word here. Every track is submerged in hypnotic acid bubbles that go on and on until your brain is addicted to it. So beautiful. The mastering is super so your ears can have a break while listening to this masterpiece. Modern goa that doesn't follow any formula, but sticks to a warm hypnotizing feeling. There is not one single filler track. The second part of the release is a remastered version of his previous album Galactic Aviator. Reviews can be found HERE. The progress between the two albums is very noticeable. Hypnotic Mirage sounds much more modern and full to me. GoaD is steadily improving his sounds and production skills. This album is a topper already and I'm sure he will deliver much more in the future. What a surprise! Just ordered the limited CDR. What other choice do I have? Buy link https://neogoarecords.bandcamp.com/album/hypnotic-mirage
  21. Huge, fucking HUGE! I've been waiting for more Atlantis. Finally my space acid dream has come true.
  22. I am seeing the promotions of this fine album including a UV t-shirt. Is there a possibility to order this kind of CD/T-shirt combination on Bandcamp? I'd love to have a T-shirt but also the bandcamp streaming after buying. Any way to do this? Thanks.
  23. Damn, JaraLuca got us all by surprise here! A huge jump forward since his last delicious album. This one is even bigger and better. Lots of unpredictable turns in each track, highly danceable and lots of power. It's a fresh album without copying himself or other artists. Very impressive and candidate for goa album of the year!
  24. DJ Solitare had me in a grip during his whole set last time at an old is gold party. Steady start, but growing to a grand finale.
