  1. On topic:

Are you sure this exact sample is also presented in other tracks? I mean sounds like these are really common in the trance scene.

I may not remember right now other tracks with this similar sounds, but I guess there are many.

If I understood correctly you're looking for the first track that this exact sample was presented, right?

    Thats all right!

First track(s) would be perfect, but others, in which it plays the very important role, especially in GOA trance, would be great too!

  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxH6ah7L86I

I am curious about the sound sample which starts at 0:52 and then lasts for almost the whole track long in the background, sometimes coming back to foreground like at 03:28-03:54

My curiocity about the roots of this sample. In the whole trance music it is the most important one to me. So, what are its roots, origins? What are the other tracks (preferably from GOA trance) you know that use it?

Maybe it has came to GOA from Hard Trance? Than from where exactly? Section X?

    Please, tracks, artists, dates..

**ATTENTION** In case you listen(ed) not only legally obtained music, please, post here ONLY if your information comes from the legally listened sources, no pirated MP3s or illegal youtubes (and alike), except for the special cases, maybe. Thanks.

  3. Yes, there were several topics here about this subject. The most infromative one is this - is flying rhino records coming back? (I created the link right to the official message left by the FR guys, quoted from Isratrance itself).

I was very curious about this myself and discovered about it simply by looking on FR profile at Discogs, where its been said that the former label is giving away most of its back catalogue for free.

The most valuable for me were Darshan's and Blue Planet Corporation releases.

When I went to "CD Albums back catalogue" page, I discovered that MOST of the songs are NOT downloadable! Hovewer, they all been actually uploaded as you can see for example at this link http://flyingrhino.co.uk/mp3/ (there are also many happy posts over net from people who have discovered this link).

Hovewer, the homepage of the website was "defaced" by a turkish hacker as it been saying. Which all was making the overall feeling about this been not very legal.

I then downloaded the BPC album in its Vynil version. As the CD one was unavailable for download from the front end.

Just few days ago I contacted BPC over myspace. And Gabriel (the band member) told me that he gave absolutely no permission to FR to distribute his records for free! And that after the label gets shut down, all the rights to the records come back to the author.

Also, at that time (few days ago) the homepage was still defaced. I also tried to contact FR with absolutely no response. I also wanted to continue the discussion here.. but then, finally, decided to forget about it.

But now, since the homepage is restored, it means there is a movement. So lets wait and see.

  4. Just the day before yesterday I was coming through Discogs's "GOA mp3" search and suddennly appeared on Cygnetic Records page. Through "wayback machine" I discovered that they offered several tens of GOA trance tracks for free download.. but no longer available!

And today (after getting enough of dealing with other free downloaded goa..) I found this topic.. with most of the albums been uploaded! Hehe.

Got some really powerful Impreial Project tracks!

Now I am curious, whats covered by this:

Hard Trance / ACID Trance / Rave (fully remastered, oldskool tracks )

    ATYPUS - "Full Speed" (album)

1 ATYPUS Dreams of Passion (177 bpm)

    2 ATYPUS Galactic (175 bpm)

3 ATYPUS Feel (official version) (175 bpm)

    4 ATYPUS INFRA202 (202 bpm)

5 ATYPUS Feel (virtual mix) (180 bpm)

    6 ATYPUS Experience (168 bpm)

    7 ATYPUS X-Rays (143 bpm)

PS. Some tracks from Cygnetic collection are still available for download on some mp3 sites.. links to which you can find through waybackmachine, but not the above one.

    Also, I am curious, is this a legal download: VA-Actetic Acid-2000 ?

  5. Uhm.. I see I cant delete my message. I wanted to ask wether I can create a thread under Music Promotion titled "KICK-ASS-FREE-psy-goa...TRANCE tracks list selected by me". I guess I can. Why not? Then delete this message I suppose.

Upd: Its meant about FREE tracks only

  6. Well, sometimes, by overcoming obstacles is a better if not the only way to feel or express the love towards something.

In my case the feeling was even kind of times more as I also love quests themselves.. And thus solving this quest brought even more love feelings to the whole thing.

As after going on Margeurite page and clicking on "Get music!" you are getting an error. But after applying my "hacking" skills in a good and absolutely unharmful way, I discovered that all tracks are still there.

From the still awailable releases, I disovered, that there are no numbers for tracks and all go in Artist_-_Title.mp3 format. So according to discogs, for "Nhjohyennro XI" we should have Nhjohyennro_-_XI.mp3 and volia its there!

But I wanted to get all the songs to try to restore my feeling from listening it the first time. Though I didnt want to bother myself of generating the filenames by hand for all 36 files. After a small deeper discovery I realised that every release supposed to have a flash player so that visitors could listen to all the tracks from within their browser. And I managed to get the correct playlist for this likely unavailable compilation with all filenames being already written there. And all of them are still available for the download.

  7. 1. This thread should most likely have been titled as "Gangguru - Dreamtime" as on the youtube video provided on the first post, exactly Dream time is playing.

    2. I have no connections to on10 member.

    3. And now, acutally my post. I have no intention now to comment everything being told here by some members about people, spirituality, music, culture, parties and something else. I will just describe what caused me to write this.

So, YES. Gangguru - Dreamtime is one of the best goa trance tracks I have ever listened so far. While I have enough of all kind of experience to say this.

As I already said in some other thread, the best track which I can describe as pure GOA trance is Section X - Galaxian. When the "trance" for me is a state of non-unexpected-interruptable motion.

Before making my own music, I still decided to discover more what has been done already so far. I tried to listen to all Section X tracks whic I could find so far and its side projects.

One of their side project is called Ariane. It consists of Section X members + Frank Murdock. I listened to their Objectif Mercury track and I liked it. Further I noticed that Frank Murdock is also a member of Gangguru project and no others. So I decided to give it a try.

This is how I dsicovered Dreamtime. From the first listening I found it very special to me. From the second I fell in love and couldnt get enough. Until now of course.

I agree that Dreamtime is a beautiful and impressive track, and it deserves more attention. It kind of reminds me of Noosphere's equally great track Carpe Noctem.

I agree to this as well. Carpe Noctem holds a close to heart position within my memory, though Dreamtime is way more lovely to me!

As for the artwork, I dont really accept that face stuff..

  8. Check out ANYTHING by Section X =) (especially their releases on their own label X-Dr)

Their track "Galaxian" was even if not the ONLY one that I could call as Goa trance, actually a trance in terms of non interruptable motion.

Later, each discovery of other Section X tracks (Explorer 1, Drive in/Drive out, Sector X, Identify, Atlantis, Futur Child, Jesus Krist) where just up to my expectations!! And I still havent found anything sound close to them...

    The next is:

    Aqualite - WaveMaker - 155 BPM

This track Ive heard in '98 for the first time and it was my first lovely cant getting enough GOA experience. After so many years later having so many journeys I came back to it with almost nothing to add.

Fuzzy Logic - Mega GOA - (I havent checked, but should be about 150 comparing to the previous one)

This track was from the same compil as wavemaker by Hypnotic records.

PS. There are a few more topics like this, but this one is having more useful information already, so I replied here.

  9. Abour a year ago while been looking for free psy/goa releases by a certain reasons, Ive suddenly appeared on Cosmic Flower Records web site.

After full ektoplazm and whole Cybernetika's (included hidden) albums and tracks exploration I was seeking for something more. And I was positively surprised by the amount of tracks available for the free download.

    Part I.

At first it started mostly from "agressive darkspy" kind of music which was not kindly what I wanted to hear.. I wanted something more "bright" and yet still deep and poweful.

Then it turned into pure goa-like sound as the whole compilation was divided into thematical parts as was announced on the web site. Kalki, SatanicElectro, and then..

then.. the world has stopped! What a music I "thought"! So clean, no those rubbish unnecessary effects. So impressive, pure, beautiful and strong! I was "thinking" like "wow! this guys know what they are doing for sure! must be some top-notch underground goa-producers. So pleased that Cosmic Flower Records included the music like this!

I went then to discogs to find more about this artist with such a unsual name, which I liked a lot indeed. On discogs I have found that XI (from this compil) track is the only being noted.

At the end, exactly this track on the first place among others of course resided in my memory as the flavour of this Marguerite compilation by Cosmic Flower Records.

    Part II.

About a year later, I started looking for music again.. not free one, but "old skool". On the web site with the maybe most old school mp3 collections, there were many new ones too. One of them was

Zolphinia - Two Types Of Dreams - 2008 (2CD) attracted my attention, its cover and everything. It was also giving a feeling of a free release! So searched for the original release web site. And it appeared to be psynews.org The artist just uploaded his unreleased (and strangely, some already released ones) on a file-sharing services and created a topic under Music Promotion sub-forum. During the second listening my attention stopped on Yamana track, previosely influenced by Innerspace and Utopia tracks. And then.. Wake up! This also so pure and strong that I couldnt get enough of it for a couple of days (according to my internal situation of course)!

Then I went back to this forum to browse all the released albums and interesting "looking" tracks. As this place seemed to be the most everyone containing one. I then discovered that most of the tracks are really.. lame. From the people who start producing music by not being inspired enough. Also a lot of paid album promotions and parties..

And then I went to someone called NHJOHYENNRO posted a link to his collections of tracks at soundclick. I was very surprised by the really beatiful melodies and the amount of tracks produced. And also by the fact he is seeking so hard for ANY LABEL! This were good and bad impressions. Though the melodies were so good and I "thought" that he is surely a very talanted person and there is something wrong that he seems so unsuccessful.

I went back to the forum to read all of his posts, as he got them many.

I do not want to give any more details about what I discovered further.. especially about the most of the people who were "replying" in his threads. Except for one.. someone from "you" opened a new thread telling everyone that NHJOHYENNRO has finally really been released! At the free compilation of Cosmic Flower Records. Some other "natives" of this forum, stated that the lable declined their demos to release. I was absolutely sure that Cosmic Flower Records is known to me! I discovered the year and the name of this compilation.. and.. "cant be!!". Isnt it that most remarkable track that I noted about a year ago while listening to this compil. Yes! It was it! So..."this is who is Nhjohyennro.."

After that I was REALLY happy about everything related to the subject. And everything went to its places. Almost.

  10. Very harmonious. Especially the Unleash part ;)

From the other side, it often does really feel as of sci-fi movie hehhe, with global level events. Atropos is the most strong track and I would say a very good one.

Closer to the end it started to very strongly reminding my most belowed DNB from Extreme-G 2 video-futuristic-bikes-racing-game

Before downloading.. I read all the track names and these Greek mythology stuff about death. The most influential was mentioning here of the word "Journey" and I wasnt dissapointed at all!
