  1. Really weird, because his Synergy album from 1998 is a masterpiece of fast, acidic, kaleidoscopic multi-layered, psychedelic trance.

Try those before writing Cosmosis completely off your list:

    or some recent stuff:

Well, again, I'm not seeking for acidic music. But for the clean, may say spiritual drive. Which is by correct understanding of the word 'psychedelic' trance should be. But if you say it is fast, thanks, I may give it a try once more. It was really long time ago since I was listening to it the last time.

And please, do not post youtube links. Just the track names. I can listen to the samples at junodownload.com where all of his releases are available now. And I hope you listened to originals.

PS. As of looking to your discogs collection, seems like you own all of his releases. But still, please, just mention the names.

  2. Mindfeld - odyssey of the mind

    Zodiac youth - Devil circus

Trancentral four - A trip to goa

Complete albums that might fullfill your expectations.

And yes i listened to the original source......

Thanks for the pure infromation. Some Mindfielld's tracks were already suggested to me in the local "psy forum" of my country. Will be considering them now.

  3. I'm not sure if you are serious with this, but this remix ruined the original song (which original version, as you most likely noticed, is 1 of the only 3 tracks in the 1st class) completely!! In my opinion and feeling the "full-on" bass-line totally destructed the pure driving energy put into track, not talking about the other "effects". I stopped listening to this at 3:22

  4. oh so in other words you have already listened to 99% of the tracks that fit your search criteria and don't really care about any recomendations here cause you already know the tracks... happy trolling to you too :)

Not really. There were mostly new psy trance albums as of "psy" part of my died mp3 collection (there were also many legal mp3s from netlabels). I can add just a few tracks from my memory, but wont add them because I dont own the releases. The idea of this topic is to get the help of what would be the best for me to buy now.

PS. And why havent you highlighted this part:

the most of the tracks were international electronic music of many sorts

I see I might need to advise you to heal yourself from paranoia, as Elysium already noticed.

  5. Well, once I was listening to an illegally downloaded mp3 copy of Filteria's "Operation Pulse" and I was thinking, damn this stuff really makes me feel like I'm flying. So I guess I would add that track to your list.

On a complete side note; what a brutally cold winter it has been. I heard the sun is shining over Moscow though, long live communism.

Well.. some years ago in 2006 once finally appeared in my own apartment, with unlimited Internet and the speakers with sub-woofer connected to my pc, I turned on the music in the shuffle mode having about 24,000 of songs in playlist. I then opened the window and lightened up the cigarette, symbolically to feel and celebrate the freedom. Right after I took the first inhale, the Russian band called 0 (zero) started playing with their song "Walking, Smoking..." ;)

It was the only song I was having from them and the most of the tracks were international electronic music of many sorts..

I then also read somewhere that some artists revived GOA trance, which are Ypsilon 5 and Filteria.

After downloading Filteria's releases and Suntrip's Apsara compilation, I was like.. "whoa!! Sooo driving! And sounds like that 'old' GOA, but just full of drive. I'm now surely realise how people where tripping and riding under GOA trance at 90s!" I was liking it in the way I was up to it at that time.

But now I have my 500gb HDD's PCB burnt broken with all of those downloads and I harmonically have no intention to get back to those loads of mp3s anymore! Though surely going to listen previews/read reviews of all of the Suntrips record's releases and buy some the most significant for the beginning as by its label name and many album covers, it should have been very matching to what I'm seeking in music now, but now I am having strong doubts..

  6. I thought I was on topic... :S Tried to provide some hopefully helpful suggestions...

Ok, lets leave o** topic on the previous page. Its just you said they are "guaranteed acidic", but I am not seeking for that, but rather for "guaranteed turbo driven".

Oh yeah Goa trance ... hard, trippy...! ...

    Mama Indica - Radioactive Rain

    Moonweed - Telepath

Cosmosis - Gift of the Gods

    Bamboo Forest - Sadhu

    Doof - Double Dragons

    Hallucinogen - Space Pussy

Kopfuss Resonator and DJ Jörg - Whipbird

MWNN presents Yogi and Grey One - Big Trouble in Outer Space

Razor's Edge - Exquisite Sin (Exquisite Acid Mix)

    Trilithon - Trance Dance

Tufaan - Probe (Green Nuns of the Revolution remix)

Zodiac Youth - Fast Forward the Future (Voodoo People Mix)

Have you listened all of these tracks from the legal source at least once?

Trilithon - Trance Dance - Thanks, I am already curious about this track and its release at least because its member's Huib Schippers under TMM project Cmos-K track is already in my 1st class list!

Doof - Double Dragons - Used to be one of my loveliest tracks of mp3 era. 5 years ago. But now I wont consider it as "turbo GOA" styled.

MWNN presents Yogi and Grey One - Big Trouble in Outer Space - Yes, thanks again. This track as well as some others from Pigs In Space release are on my target already. Might be a perfect match and both the old CD and digital version are available now.

Cosmosis - Gift of the Gods - Same, 5 years ago it was somewhat OK for me. But now I'm not looking into Cosmosis side anymore.

Hallucinogen - Space Pussy - Oh.. Hallunicogen is like the criminal for me. It may do have a very powerful and really "turbulistic" bass-line but then turns it into something that I'm totally not looking for. I used to like is only track - LSD, but.. not anymore.

Tufaan - Probe (Green Nuns of the Revolution remix) - From my memory, after searching for GOA vinyls year ago, I remember I put an eye on Tufaan. Thx would consider it once again, in a legal way this time.

As for the rest, according to their names, Fast Forward the Future and Whipbird seems to be relevant.

But after all, if all comes from illegal mp3s, sorry, I would better have no replies at all! Purity is the main goal now.

  7. And to give an ON topic reply for once: Pleiadians - IFO album is definately one for you, deepXcode ;)

Thanks! I hope you listened to this at least once from the legal source. And this is already on my target, its now available through digital distribution, but I'm not hurrying with it as its too obvious choice. Seeking for something more, if it does exist.

  8. Actually I don't get the idea of 1st, 2nd and 3rd class (where my tracks are included) as if my tracks are less important. But that's of course taste.

I would say this is less on the taste side but more on the technical side of the track.

The most important here is the bass-line. It should sound really "turbulistic", like a real, powerful motor. The best example is Aqualite - Wavemaker. BPC and Cybernaut tracks have also very representative bass line. As well as Elysium's Master Of The Rainforest in its original version.

I would love to mention here only 1st class track having the described above bass-line. But I do not know/own them.

The next by Importance is the speed. I would also love to list in the first class tracks with at least 155, but I am unable to.

Fuzzy Logic - Mega Goa could be of a 1st class if having the better bass-line and more developed its second part. As well as Cosmic Navigators - First Tour.

Next by Importance is the overall driving energy the track gives. This is somewhat about the taste. It should carry 1 main single "message", be one piece instead of a lot of twists and chaotic movements. There should be no chaos, no madness or any of the such a things.

Track Cmos-k by TMM could had have a better developed bass line, more "turbulistic", but still, the overall development of track matches the feeling of "being driven by the purest fuel".

Alidade track, sounds almost perfect by the means.

Etnica's Vimana has the really strong parts. Vimana is a name of UFO's craft, so no doubts this track has been built with motion in mind. The most important part starts at 4:40 where the "turbo drive" begins.

Spindrift's Mission From God is also a very matching track - carries the message which unfolds at the end in a very driving way. Same as when you are traveling and reaching the destination. The bass-line could have been better (more "turbulistic") of course.

Kailash's Higher is also a very matching track. It made so that from the beginning it drives the listener to the very specific destination - higher!

Then, I also include here the tracks which simply represent the motion, even if its not that driving and fast:

Ultravision - The tunnel - brilliant track, good match, but not energetic and driving enough, thats why 3rd class

Trilithon - Cyber Train - also name and the construction speak for themselves, but I am seeking for rather more faster, powerful and contemporary trains running to the very bright and high destination.

DJ Dione - The Helicopter (extended remix) - same here

I also included the tracks which by its sound represent motion to me:

The Scarab - Koala - ONLY here you might say this is acid trance. But I would say that "acid" used here as a part of the whole motion, very harmonizing with the bass-line and its tempo which sound "turbulistic" enough.

Construction - Non E Existence - gives a feeling of being inside of the moving vehicle.

Kaaya - Circular Sanctuary - same here, though being slow, gives a feeling of motion. Also says sometimes "ride the snake" which proves that the track has been built with the motion in mind.

I guess I dont need to comment further and it should now be obvious why I included which track and which class given to it.

I would only add that for the:

    - 1st class tracks, there could be a picture near with a very modern and fast train Posted Image

    - 2nd class - some ordinary train Posted Image

    - and for 3rd class - trains from the 100s years ago Posted Image

but I'm not having the proper pics at the moment.

**ATTENTION-2** I am not curious about the music which made you feel in being motion (flying, traveling, etc). I am only curious about the music which represents the motion by itself (even if its name doesn't have the meaning related to the motion) like on the examples above. So, be extremely, absolutely cautious about mentioning here artists like Hallucinogen, Filteria.. Or from "darkpsy" or "psyprog".

Let the name and the picture would speak for themselves for this sub-genre of GOA-trance music (defined by me):

    - on the picture left-vertical part it says (in Russian): "HERE'S THE TURBOJET TRAIN IS RUNNING FAST..."; on the right: "ON EARTH, IN HEAVEN AND ON THE SEA Turbojet: [pic] Airplante, [pic] Boat, [pic] Train", "Technics of the Youthful - 3, 1971"

  11. I would say that 'synchronicity' is a part of 'harmony' as in the first case the acts are not necessary to intersect, while 'harmony' implies exactly the 'agreement' part - the one which you can see on the images.

The term harmony derives from the Greek ἁρμονία (harmonía), meaning "joint, agreement, concord",[4] from the verb ἁρμόζω (harmozo), "to fit together, to join"

  12. Is Ouroboros - Dreamer (VA - Kalila) your creation? I was just listening to this compil and realized that this track is somewhat more creative and complete sounding than the previous ones and the artist's name was looking similar to the starter of the topic I was having being opened.. Most likely its not, as its too glitchy, so never mind then.

  13. And how about Cybernetika (Nanospheric) and Deja Vu Fabrique (aka Zolod) ?

I wanted to start a thread myself for "driving and melodic 'darkpsy' similar to Deja Vu Fabrique"...

    ..Also maybe Suria

..And Uforica (aka Oberon) might be matching too

3 weeks ago I was waiting for the Chinese/Tibetian ethnic music to be delivered to my home by a local media distributor (to have it replaced with proper quality as the one I've got initially was having reading troubles).
Having couple of hours before the assigned time, I decided to get a ride to a vegetarian shop. I put the clothes on and inserted this CD

    Posted Image

(VA - Lime Light, Tribal Vision rec.) into the player. I then entered a taxi bus and took my place... some time ago the track #6 (Holm & Andersen - Cityrain) started playing. And JUST at the moment when the audio sample "I want you to get up now!" started at its first time, I listened to it and realized that its really time for me to get up from my chair!! In the sample it later also says that it wants to get up out of the chairs. And I also would have missed the stop if not this voice from my headphones!

In the shop itself there were the "magical" events too, but the whole day was a special for me, I put a significance to it and it was full of things like that. And just when I entered home for the last time, washed my hands, the door ringed and it was the media company courier I was telling about in the beginning. And the CD he delivered was a good one this time!

    ***

3 weeks later after that (yesterday) I had the same important day. So having the same mood, I placed "Lime Light" CD to the player again. Listening to it at home this time. After listening "Cityrain" track I became curious to know more about the author. I opened a booklet (the one which is included in the CDs from Tribal Vision, as it seems) with all of the artists info at the "Holm & Andersen" page. The photo of one of the guys seemed familiar to me.. pretty similar to Kristian Andersen from Elysium, whos album I was just recently commenting on this forum.. And YES, the description was saying that this is Kristian Thinning from the known Elysium and Sheyba "old school" trance projects released the debut single "Project One"... I then went on the Elysium new site which was already opened in my browser, as I was waiting for the rest of material to be uploaded, and JUST a few minutes later this single got uploaded which I was eager to listen!

Same way as at that time I was having issues with an ethnic music CD, this time I was having problems with listening to Elysium tracks from my external USB HDD. Only there I could store all of the Kristian's releases, but for years (!) I am having the issue of having sound glitches from time to time when listening audio from it. And exactly yesterday (also when Kristian finished uploading his official releases) I've got it fixed (by adjusting the latency of the USB Controller to 0)!

    ***

Sometimes I am becoming desperate about people and their creations.. nothing seems worthily and feeling myself being unable to walk any longer. But these events show me that I know how to sail right this ocean, my boat is loaded well and the nature is giving me the green light to have my engines boosted up!

Then, Keep it Cool! And Stay in The Light! ;)

    Posted Image

PS. I was so Impressed by this "I want you to get up now!" "coincidence" that wanted to start a special topic called "Music and Harmony" for everyone to tell such a harmonious stories happened to them while listening to "psy" music. But it didnt looked too cool to me. But when yesterday I discovered that this Cityrain song is Elysiums involved creation, gotten the single "Project One" released just in a minutes after reading about it in the booklet and 2 more releases within a few hours later from a web site which was already loaded in my browser, finally solved my external USB HDD audio playback issue and having it ready to load with all of the rest of his music and more, I decided to create something specially related to Elysium. I decided to create a text-graphical kind of art. The one which you perceive right now. I wanted to find "ethnic styled images" "having several arrows pointing to one place". As that represented "harmony" to me in the best way: many parts intersect between each other at one moment of time. I went on google and typed "tribal harmony". And image #3 seemed to be something I was looking for. I clicked the link and... found "images with multiple arrows pointing to one place"!! I couldn't even imagine a better illustrations and I found them so easily. Then I decided to really create this topic which I implemented just now.
  15. Hi!

I guess the best word to describe what I've posted above is "feedback" instead of "review". I already suggested to the administration of this web site to use this word more dominant to make it more alive! But they refused - keeping it traditional no matter what.

Ok, thanks, now I see everything. More to come then.

And I forgot to add that THIS is going to be my Christmas gift! :)

Merry Christmas to you as well

    dXc

  16. ...I don't really know which word is better to begin with. REGENERATED!

Though your new web site does not have the album with that name available for download (yet), but only "Celestial Sounds & Tribal Beats", this word does describe my feeling and the reason the best!

The site itself also posseses very warm feelings.

At first I was disappointed that only "Tribal" album is available, I was expecting for some GOA trance, like the first EP, but still decided to give it a try! I thought its going to be too dry, too abstract, too dark, too cold.. what tribal means to me.

But after hearing the first violin sounds, I became feeling being so positively impressed! The music sounded so deep, rich, fresh and what is most important - alive! Like being really taken from life, and from the natural life - the one suggested to humans by nature.

Then I really liked how the "ambient" sound turns into the trance! And always remains calm and strong, having that beat!

Some tracks are more "ambient", others are more trance, but all remain with that "calm and strong" energy put across of them! That what "tribal" supposed to mean here... I would call it as "calm and strong wide living energy". And is purely spiritual! What "psychedelic" music supposed to be. Spiritual as its easy, yet deeply strong and originally rich.

Of course there are some "weird" and "cold" moments, but no matter what, they are covered with the bright and warm ones! Or may be they should be there here and now.

..And then, from the first notes of "Wind of Dust" track, it sounded to familiar to me! I've surely heard it from some of Man With No Name creations.. it was his "mix set". Yes, its this track which I liked so much but never knew who it was singing until now! ;) Great surprise!

Lastly, I want to say again about the "real" sounds: violin, guitar, horses, water, fire, human - they all create this music what it appears to be! And it appears to be trance music! For me way many "psychedelic" trance tracks are missing this part, or better to say, I was missing for them.

Also this music is very self-expanding (uplifting), allows your spirit to consider things called "creation", "life" and "God" in a very pure way I would say. As allows to "watch" things from the side, from above. Celestial, right!

And finally, listening to it, while doing my "coding" before fall asleep, it has made my dreams being good ones - full of creativity intentions and nothing but! Thats why I said regenerated! :) And I hope it would support me futhermore.

PS. I have a couple of questions though:

    - Why the track numbers are different from the one Discogs page?

    - Why there is another album called "Celestial Sounds And Neurotic Tribal Beats" listed and seem to have all the same tracks, only have "Neurotic" added in the title? Aren't these Neurotic?!

    - Why some tracks ends are likely being cut off..?

    - Would the remixed version of "Wind of Dust" be available?

    Thx for attention!

  17. I was intentionally looking for music where "psy-trance meets cyberpunk sci-fi" and appeared at ektoplazm's Cybernetika - Neural Network Expansion - 2007 page.

Of course, the album was having the strong sci-fi influence, but still sounded way to "common" for me, too "fullonish" or "darkish". Except the track "No communication", but I was searching for some uplifting and inspiring music.

Decided to know more about the artist and possibly discover more tracks, I appeared on his homepage cybernetika.de where there were many more tracks and albums (!) for free download.

I downloaded them all and was listening carefully, one by one and really discovered some inspirational ones, like "The origin", "Promised Land", "Creator of the Universe" and others..

But when got onto his first album and track called "Machinery" of 11:11 length, it hit me to the max! It was ABSOLUTELY what I was looking for initially and instantly appeared to be my loveliest music creation of all time, till now!

I then decided to contact Lars personally and share with him my feedback. He then recommended me to try his other track "Plasmoid", and he was right, that track also has met my demands perfectly! And we now have it in a free release under Nanospheric album.

I was noticing here and there the great feedbacks about Plasmoid track, some people where including it in their mixes, but nothing, absolutely nothing, about Machinery! Which I personally count of the best GOA tracks ever produced and generally. And wanted to share this with everybody!

  18. Wow!

Just went to this http://www.discogs.com/Mindsphere-Inner-Cyclone/release/1155616 page and found the next review for this track:

    ...

5> It's about a continuous rising climax a la Section X -Galaxian alike, with a typical heavy Israeli Goa bank tones.

    ...

This is an example of the answer I wanted to get from someone here. I dont care about the "heavy Israeli Goa bank tones." of course.

By a coincidence, I already mentioned Section X myself here, but what are the other tracks (preferably in GOA trance) and especially the roots of this "continuous rising climax"?
