  1. Have not listened to Hunab Ku, but here are the suggestions according to what you have described:

Doof - Secret Sun (Sunbeam mix)

    Doof - Sunsrhine

    Bypass Unit - Cruiser

Bypass Unit - Shanti (there may be more by Bypass Unit)

Paradise Connection - Portamento (one of my all time favourite, may be over emotional though).

Rainbow Spirit - Smooth Elevator (may be more by various Boris Blenn projects)

  2. I believe it is a prog track from about '05. Something similar to Human Blue - Rollercoaster, but much more lighter and simple.

    So the lyrics are:

In the very beginning you hear a deep and hard man's breath, then a voman's voice tells:

"Relax. Open your eyes (mind?). [Voice of breath in/out] You're going to ... again. [Music starts]"

    It is very remarkable intro..

  3. When I first heard the part of Perplexed track in a Neogoa announcement clip, I thought to myself, that THIS is the music I was eager for years! THIS is how "trance" music should sound: fast, intense, strong and at the same time: simple, clear, straightforward.

The demands are really simple, but almost nobody from "GOA" producers, was not caring about them, until this.

When I've heard the full version of "Perplexed", the impression became worse through, the intro samples, outro are definitely from the "evil" (destruction) side, bring nothing new constructively good, the whole main part was all already shown in the preview clip. But the overall feeling about the track is good nevertheless and still making it (according to my scales, to be, I believe, very objective though) one of the most energetic, if not the most, tracks of all time by now.

Track Archaea (by author's side project) does not have the mentioned above negative parts (like samples) and instantly, from the first listening became the most favourite downtempo tracks of all time and even more, even a hymn of my personal religion. The only thing it might lacking, is native instruments and cultural, native energy to it, but it is good enough to bring you to the "7th skies" and maybe the best what global culture could offer in slow music area.

Another aspect of rating the music is it's availability. I believe, nowdays good music should be available for free in terms of physical money, whether you are poor or rich. It also gives a big bonus and a special feeling to the music.

Also, it is not just about the availability and the morals of not using the pirated content, but also makes it closer to the listener: in the case of Nova Fractal, you are free to share the music and use it without making the "derivative works" to it. Might be better of course (if "derivates would be allowed, like, for example, in case of Cybernetika), but still, very good enough! Also when comparing to any commercial music.

And this aspect makes this music belonging to the so called "demoscene". This is a scene (who don't know) of people united with passion to computers and technology, who make art using it and share the created art among each other and everyone interested.

The scene has various online radiostations, the most wide range and the best (to my opinion) is scenesat.com It sreams various .xm, .it, ft2 and other modules as well as most various genres of electronic music from all the various netlabels, including ektoplazm. And most of Nova Fractal are included in radio's rotation list, consisting of only about 6,000 tracks in total.

Yes, I've heared to Artifact 303 and new E-mantra album, officially for free, at divbyzero.de online radiostation. E-mantra brings nothing new, even less intensive sound.. Artifact is good. Has the same general energy type put into the tracks than Nova Fractal did, but they are standing way FAR downside. Not even talking that you need to give the hard earned money that you could spend on a better food, health, nature and travel to listen to them at the time when you want to.. Some earlier E-mantra tracks are also on the demoscene's radio though, as they were free to listen and share.

Last point is magic. I had a lot of wonderful magic happened together with Nova Fractal and his side project's music. Also including DJ Celteric's mix. The mix maybe contains the most powerful music to date, talking of it alone.

And finally, the upcoming tracks are not less good! Not better though and who knows which samples they might contain, which are not heard in the preview... And also if there would ne an opportunity to listen to them in 2013. I mean if it would ever come.

  4. Great news! :)

  5. Last few months I'm pretty much into Slavic Neopaganism and Rodnovjerje, not saying that I'm a beliver, just finding some interesting customs, such as this one from Russia - name giving and wedding ceremony

But overall I can say for myself that I'm agnost.

Pardon me, but may I ask a few questions?

At first a little intruduction. I am a russian living in Ukraine since 1 y.o.

For the past year I have also became deeply interested in this kind of thing. But not from religious side, but from the side of searching the roots of the nation I am living in and "coming back to nature".

My main interests here are: food, crafts, art, beliefs. I am trying to restore information about the past.

And about music in particular. Trying to find out the real native instruments of slavs. There are some ones widely available, some less and many are taken from the other cultures... Especially drums. There seem to be no slavic drums survived!

I am also very surprised about slavic nations... Positively and negatively. P. because there are so many of them and I see a lot of similarities and can understand most of the languages which gives a rich feeling. N. because there seem to be so few of cooperation...

So, in the flavor of the introduction above, here are the questions:

    - Why the video is russian, aren't there a croatian relevance?

    - Do you get yourself involved only into croatian movement or other nations too?

    - Are you finding out the information about the native music instruments? If so, feel free to share with results.

    - Have you had a chance to find out some really great native songs? Something like

. According to Wikipedia, "the haunting choral song that plays throughout the film is a wedding song, sung to get rid of all evil influences that are about to follow" and "Kenji Kawai originally wanted to use Bulgarian folk singers" (which are also slavic).

Thanks for the attention. / Спасибо за внимание. / Дякую за увагу.

  6. I was posting this video once here under another topic about usage of psy-music in real life creations (outside of "psyculture").

So here it is once again:

    Maxus - Road Warrior

It's a fast, really great (to me) dancable goa-trance track with videos from the same ASD's Lifeforce.

  7. I don't understand.. so I'll just post every full-on track ever made?

    lol :P

Then post at least one following the format described in rules. I will correct you then if your was wrong and where.

  8. Some Suntrip shop stats in %

And in the remaining 2%, we have 1 or 2 orders in India, Korea, and even 1 in China. Basically, almost nothing in Asia besides Japan.

Edit: this doesn't mean there are no goa people or parties in the countries which have 0%. Example: South Africa or Mexico.

Also, some countries are poorer and people download the music instead of buying it, and still there is a scene (ex: Turkey, Chili, Morocco, India, Ukraine)

As for Ukraine, stats are definitely at least a little wrong...

  9. I don't mind higher BPMs. I'm actually very eager for them!

But only of the "bright" side..

Also, if a track is greatly made and every sound harmonically feets each other, even if its very fast, IMO you "can feel and hear every sounds" but feeling yourself somewhat "higher" (due to the faster speeds) :)

And I just wanted to state a fact and see if my vision is right or no because I "grew up" on faster sounsd already.

  10. Let's take from the "proto-goa" times (or how is it called), like late 80's till now.

What is the biggest noticable change in music? To me it is simply... speed!

In those late 80's (and maybe even earlier) the "trance" music was very slow, calm, easy going.

Then in early 90's fast tracks start to appear and the overall tempro of tracks increased.

By '98 or so we are having full length extremely fast (compared to 'old times') full-length albums, like "Cosmosis - Synergy", "GNOTR" and maybe many others. So, the whole music became faster!

Another 10 years later, by 2010 we are having even more speeds, unfortunately (IMO) in the subgenre called as "dark".

So we are having faster speeds appeared (in which direction though?) in the last 10 years.

And what's next? Maybe it's the limit humans reached? Or maybe the reasonable limit is 145-155bpm?

Anyways, I want to share a very simple vision about music in general, it becomes faster with time.

    Am I wrong?

  11. Listening to /0 at the moment, and noticed to myself "what a good, really happy track!" And then "wait a second.. the kick+bass line pretty much reminds me KoxBox sound..".

Checked /0's playlist page where it shows tracks and indeed -

    white compilation [tip 1997]

    psychopod - dreampod

And as this track been mentioned here and I really dislike koxbox's music, decided to share about this great discovery here.

The track is still playing :)

    Really great!

  12. China has parties at least in Hong Kong and Shanghai.

These cities, in particular, are huge internetional megapolices and have a lot of people from all around the world.

I've also seen some amateur producers from a chinese electronic music netlabel.

There are like 3 eps and most of the tracks are religion related, have samples of monks chants and prayers.

  13. Brain Accent - Orange Acid

By listening to it via /0 radio just noticed it makes really an incredibly great resonanse within the source of myself, which makes me feel really just as.. khm khm.. I was on drugs.

Seems to be seiousely and clearly made music composition.

Also, totally +1 for that this kind of music should give help to get high without any "drugs" absolutely naturally. This is how it was supposed to be I strongly believe.

But the above mentioned track for me is like the beginning, the starting point, the awakening and the guide to these kind of "electronic" sounds.

  14. It's really a big pleasure for me to come back again to the matters concerned with Juno Reactor's activity.

I really praise them! For being used in so many artifical intelligence/computers/technology related real life creations.

    Especially for this one:

I really like every single sound of it!! And it sounds so ahead of it's time! So <<<HIGH>>> tech, so spacey and solid at the same time remaining so ethnic and tribal!

Most of nowdays "goa" music sounds MUCH more dated to me if saying so.

But Juno Reactor's sound is an ethalon of how the eternal-futuristic music should sound!

As for Koxbox.. Just a waste of time.. A childrens circuis sounds.

  15. I wanted to say the below for the several days already. But there was no an appropriate thread for it.. Until now.

It was in about 2002 or so.

8 am in the morning and students go study to the university in a tram.

And there was a conversation I occasionally heard by riding in the same tram with them:

    - Have you listened to GOA trance?

    - Well, yes, but I did'nt quite liked it.

That was the first time I've heard about this electronic music style and it brought my attention and I thought I would definitely have to hear it! It was one of the last genres of E.M. I have not discovered yet (as I thought).

And I decided I would give it a try.. under some special circumstances of live. I don't know why I thought so.. but it really happened like that. A female human who awaken the depeest feelings within myself also invented me into this music style officially.

And yes, there was a stereotype for this music. I dont know where I've gotten this stereotype from. Some kind of subconciousely. Maybe from hearings bits of infromation about it here and there, I've gotten a stereotype of this music what is shared between most of the people who know about it.

This stereotype can be described like this:

    - This is not a music in the sense the other music known

    - This "music" is to be used for the special purposes only

    - Something exactly like there is a "music" to let you in a hypnotic state or get you fall asleep and dream some special dream

    - And the way when the "music" is used only in a special way, not just to enjoy it, dance with it or do something by its accompanion like any other normal music does, is called as therapy or medicine

    - To be short, this is not a general music, but a music of a special kind, that could be used similar to the ways some medicine is using some sounds, a medical purposes music. And for some.. really strange sort of purposes. Kind of a bad feeling.

I would answer just like the statements above if you would ask me about GOA trance back in '02.

But after this tram accident, I decided to give it a chance after wintessing someone just enyoing it and talking about it just like about any other music and even saying everyong should like it once just hear!

PS. I'm sorry if this is a wrong thread, as its about GOA trance. But at that time "psytrance" term was totally uknown to me! It was introduced to me later by some GOA fan who said that "psytrance" is just what GOA trance evolved into when talking about 2000+ releases.

  16. Posted Image MFG 'Overload'

    'Access denied.'

    'Access granted.'

From the movie 'The Lawnmower Man' Posted Image

PS. Just listened to this track via /0 online radio and the samples reminded me The Lawnmower Man movie. I've checked then psydb and appeared to be just right :)

PS2. And another track that feets this:

    Toï Doï - Replicant

There seem to be no psydb entry for this, but it seems to me that it is from Blade Runner movie.

Also, seems like whole Toï Doï - Technologic album matches by looking on it's name and the cover!
