  4. Aerodance - Some More Sun Artist: Aerodance Title: Some More Sun Label: Inti Raimy Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 07'29" Skazka 02. 06'30" Internet Exploder 03. 07'57" Gatoulis 04. 07'54" Kaspar Houser 05. 08'03" Top Trick (Pop Freak Rmx) 06. 07'14" Big Mamma Freaks On Blues 07. 07'57" Bonny Om 08. 06'34" The White Rabbit (Edit 2001) 09. 08'44" Matrix 649 (Live Mix) Review: Someone said these guys are from Russia. And it sounds a little ruissan, how the hell russian trance sounds like I don't know. But anyway...The production is kinda low. I wonder if they only use software. It really feels like it. They also have a odd style. Really weird sounds in some way. But still melodic and well choosen sounds. Well built melodies tho. So...more to add? I don't know whom I may choose to campare this group to. Listen before you buy. Best track: The White Rabbit (edit 2001). Final Verdict: 6.4/10

    V/A - Vision Quest

V/A - Vision Quest Artist: Various Title: Vision Quest Label: Vision Quest Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 07'35" The Delta : Pop (Synthetic Rmx) 02. 07'44" X-Dream : Irritant 03. 05'00" MOS : Jaja 04. 06'31" Midi Miliz : Soopercharge 05. 06'44" Ear Gear : Anomalie 06. 05'54" The Delta : PC Fresh 07. 06'10" Authentic : Solid (The Delta Rmx) 08. 09'07" Organic Noise : The Vacuum 09. 07'16" X-Dream : Inter-Corporal Stimulator 10. 06'16" Spirallianz : Motorman Review: This was unexpected. Released on Visoion Quest from Japan. As you see it's a pretty heavy album. And thats exactly what it is. And it's minimal. Maybe you already heard some of these tracks. And yet again i'm not a minimal digger. But some tracks are pretty good. Everything (almost) sounds like X-Dream newer stuff or The Delta. And gets boring after a while. Anyway...The best track is x-dream - inter-corporal stimulator. I hope the new album from X-Dream will sound more like that and less then Irritant. If you like dark minimal you will like this. Final Verdict: 6/10

    Etnica - Chrome

Etnica - Chrome Artist: Etnica Title: Chrome Label: Solstice Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 07'03" Alph-Beta 02. 06'15" Solaris 03. 07'39" 1056 04. 07'27" Black Lava 05. 08'02" Traktor Activity 06. 08'11" Object (Live Mix) 07. 08'36" Liquid Forms 08. 08'13" Are We Safe ? 09. 08'44" Blasting ! Review: First of all this is a minimal album, at least is not melodic. And I'm not much of an minimal lover. But I'll say what I think about the album. This is kinda like some Nitrox tracks. Just a little more minimal. But still, the Etnica touch is there. The first 3 tracks I don't like at all. But after that. It's faster, more powerful and so. It sounds more and more like Etnica old screaming style. But I must say I enjoyed Nitrox much more then this album. There are no ambient tracks here, wich I think is a pity. Final Verdict: 6/10
  10. Soundtrack - The Rock - Rock House Jail
  11. Astral Projection - Let There Be Light a classic one. The melodie around 3:10 is so damn GOOD.

  14. Double Dragon - Tin Drum Artist: Double Dragon Title: Tin Drum Label: Spiral Trax Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 08'02" Tin Drum 02. 08'19" Stylophone Review: GOOD! I really like this. I just love the sounds in these tracks. So cool So hard and groovy. A pure killer. Yes, I'm telling you! Stylophone is as good as the first track. Don't expect any melodies in these tracks. Expect dancefloor boosters Final Verdict: 9/10

  17. S-Range - Out Of Range Artist: S-Range Title: Out Of Range Label: Spiral Trax Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. Out Of Range (Cyber Disco Mix) 02. Out Of Range (Nomas Morning Mix) Review: Not much to say about these two tracks. I found nothing special in them. Pretty boring actually. Oh well... The first track is the better one. Sorry for this pointless review but I really don't know what to say. *argh* 6/10
  18. Yahel - Private Collection Artist: Yahel Title: Private Collection Label: HOM-Mega Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 07'59" Come Inside 02. 08'15" Electro Panic 03. 09'01" Avalanche 04. 07'44" Step By Step 05. 07'41" Scratch 06. 07'28" Heart Ache 07. 07'59" Unusual 08. 06'58" Crystal Blue 09. 03'41" Bomb Creator Review: Starts with a calm track to get you inside(?) Some beats, some club, kinda nice flow tho. The next track, Electro Panic, I've heard alot of people talking about this track. The sample? or the guy who says 'electro panic' is cool and good. Good track over all, not typical Yahel cheese. The next track is typical Yahel cheese, or should I call it club? Anyway, no doubt the guy can make good melodies. The fourth track is again not typical Yahel. Groovy track with bongas and some hard lines. The next track takes us back to the cheese. And this is just too cheesy for me. Track 3 is much better cheese imo. Next track; yet another more groovy track. It seems like he jumps back and forth with cheese and not-cheese. Track #7; Is in the more cheesey direction. You know the Yahel-sound. The 8th track is bad. Slow, simple and technoish. And the last track is better to not even talk about. So let us not. It's bad I'm telling you. So...What does this CD get? Final Verdict: 6.5/10
  19. V/A - Genetic Process Artist: Various Title: Genetic Process Label: Spun Date: 2002 Track listing: 01. 07'56" Nomad : Vacation Time 02. 06'39" GMS : Copycat (Rmx) 03. 06'47" Talamasca And Manitu : Genetic Monster (GMS Rmx) 04. 07'50" Synthetic : The Mummy 05. 07'23" Talamasca And GMS : Mutation (GMS Rmx) 06. 07'59" Talamasca And Space Cat : Z Trancepose 07. 07'41" Psychopod : Frankies Farm (GMS Rmx) 08. 07'12" GMS : Action Man 09. 06'57" Shanti : Shwink (Rmx) Review: This CD is packed with the GMS-sound. Wich we all know can be a little boring when to much of it is played. Even the none-gms tracks sounds GMS-ish Even tho the Synthetic tracks is too dark for GMS. As the whole CD is like any GMS-tracks there is no reason to describe it more deeply. Final Verdict: 7/10
  20. V/A - Time And Space 1 Artist: Various Title: Time And Space 1 Label: Sound Sorcery Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 06'45" GMS : Spook 02. 07'50" The Antidote : Vedrasonic 03. 07'14" Alien Project : Twins 04. 06'34" Logic Bomb : Desires 05. 07'18" Astrix : Kali 06. 08'54" Absolum : Mental Silence 07. 08'35" Talamasca : The Missing Link 08. 07'59" The Good The Bad and The Ugly : Mescalito 09. 09'44" Saiko-Pod : Tron Review: Yet another good compilation. You know all the groups on this one. Yes, you should do. And with this lineup nothing can go wrong. So..What is this all about? These tracks are typical with each group. You can almost tell who made the track without looking on the tracklist. No bad tracks on this one. hmm..And none really good either. All tracks are good and decent. It has a 'best' track tho and that is #9 Saiko-Pod. Good samples and it changes all the time. Awesome! Final Verdict: 8/10
  21. Shakatura - Shakatura Artist: Shakatura Title: Shakatura Label: Ceiba Date: 2001 Track listing: 01. 07'27" Lavatube 02. 09'17" Playa Mimosa 03. 07'57" Geko 04. 08'36" Quark 05. 06'39" Parachute 06. 07'51" Mitochondria 07. 06'57" Tail 08. 07'47" Earsocket 09. 07'59" Telemetry Review: What a nice little surprise. Good ambient is presented here. It's not ultra-ambient if you know what I mean. It has it's breakbeats and so. Very nice. Sounds a little like Deviant Electronics slower tracks...Maybe slightly more experimental. Very cool melodies and I just love these loooong bases (basses?) you know what I mean. Reminds me of Dub Trees sometimes. Perfectly balanced vocals... Yes, this CD is GOOD. Definently worth buying! Final Verdict: 9/10
