  1. Sorry to write this, but it appears Discogs is no longer what it used to be.

Relevance of information is no longer checked, and the site behaves as a wiki where anyonoe can change anything anytime.

For instance, we had a bogus dupe Goasia release a couple of weeks ago that we had to ask to get it removed.

    same goes for imdb

try to figure this "movie" out

    afaik it doesn't exist

and if u dont believe me, give me proof ! :D

    some teasers from the U2'b-channel

    *edit*

and i don't agree bout nothing gets checked

i have 2 dodgy releases added, which are still in 'pending mode' for 4 months and beyond

they exist though, but i dont have enough information to make the case waterproof

  2. Very cool stuff, for sure. I suggest you contact Baba Zula (babazula@babazula.com) and ask for suggestions.

Also, on their homepage, in their links, they link to Turkish music. Maybe there's something there you'd like.

damn, that'll need such a massive amount of time to listen to all these previews hehe :)

perhaps i should mail em idd

anyways, i'll see .. off to bed now

    Cheers & G'night ;)

  3. sorry, pal, don't know anything like that :P

I could help you out with a little bit of turkish pop though ... something like this:

... it also seems to have an odd rhythm, but maybe that's just me ... doubt that this is what you lookin' for :D

    nah, that's quite okay :)

    all is welcome

    not bad that song :)

okay cool, will check it out

    thanks!

  4. Personally, if you're after IDM rather than ambient, I don't think it gets any better than Chiastic Slide, Chichlisuite, EP7, Gantz Graf and Untilted.

weird thought came up to me while reading this

IDM .. aint that acronym for Intelligent Dance Music ?

  5. That's actually one of my least favourite of their albums. But then I don't think much of Drukqs at all.

when it comes to my own preference, i share your thought ;)

well.. perhaps not my least favorite, but they peaked with Second Bad Vilbel to me, after that it went straight downhill (imo)

  6. I don't really get that :P

    anyway, cheers :D

well.. i'm not sure if i'm right about the 7/8

    but in comparison :

    techno has a 4/4 beat, or 4/8

turkish music (as in 'is known for') has a beat that extends to a regular beat such as 4/4

like for example: 4 beats followed by 4 beats and then followed by 5 beats .. that's what i mean with irregular

  7. nice track

about my deepest influences, i can only mention things from a far past

those are mainly tapes and mixtapes i got from friends (talking bout 1992 - 1997 or sth)

mixtapes of At The Villa (belgian club)

a obscure mixtape mixed by a friend of a friend

and some other tapes with old house i got when i was a kid

tracks that i can think of now that got me inspired and which i eventually found (title-wise)

    Al Ferox - Dead Zone

    Marco Bailey - Sniff

    X-Ray - Requim

there are more, but can't find them online
