    Slumdog Millionaire

     

    9/10

     

    Excellent acting, music, directing!!, editing.. a very nice movie

     

    To bad the last 20 minutes were so cheesy. Hated the ending, first 1.5 hour 9 / 10 , last 20 minutes 4/10.

    Not shure what you mean about slapstick movies.... Do you like black amr humor ala Will ferrell???

     

    If you do, then you'll love Anchorman ... One of the funniest movies i have ever seen :) Either you hate it, or you will laugh your ass off for the whole 90 minutes !

    Guess this will be another masterpiece. :ph34r:

     

    Only played it 6 times now, but it still grows on me... So a more indepth review will follow later on.

     

    Already love it very much.

     

    From the more psychedelic discovering to the more emotional drama of the road to nothingness.

     

    It's warm, a little lighter in my opinion then leaving home. Leaving home gives my a deeper melancholic feeling when I listen to it in the evening. This album is warm more light, more Melodic?!

     

    Excellent !!!! Been a long time that I could say something like that about a full album, I think this will top my last years winner Hol Bauman maybe not :) !

    Nice reviews, I was thinking of skipping this release since all the ishq stuff was beginning to sound to much of the same...

     

     

    But something a little darker and abstract could be a nice change...

     

    Too Bad abasio mentions high pitch sounds, I like lower sound mostly... :)

     

    Anyway will check it out, maybe I'll be suprised afterall...

    I have been trying to get into "Leaving Home" but am having trouble with that - everyone seems to think its the greatest thing since sliced bread and I don't quite get it...

     

    I appreciate the emotion and composition of it (I think), but it also seems generally bland to me, moves too slowly, and is very sparse on melody and overall "psychedelic" factor - I find it a nice album, and something I could play for polite company, but lacks that "other-worldy" vibe that I really enjoy...

     

    I'm gonna keep listening to it though and see if I can get into the magic - like I said though, I do enjoy it, I'm just not blown away by it...

    Love that album like I love the electrypnose, biosphere albums... Melancholic and feeling yourself small in the beautiful universe... The Atmosphere is brilliant... But I'm generally more into atmosphere and not melody galore.

    I for instance don't really like entheogenic that much. I mean I can hear the "nice" melodies, but it doesn't really take me away like deep "melancholic" albums do...

    too hard to mention one, it depends too much on your mood, but still, it will most likely be one of the following 3:

     

    Electrypnose - Paradis Perdu

    Khetzal - Avasari

    Solar Fields - Insum

    I don't have it on cd, only in a mix..., guess that's why I always forget what it is...

    After listening it for 20 minutes, I placed an order on Psyshop.com. I feel like I'm love with music again.

    I honestly am pretty bad at reviewing but I will post my thoughts after I've listened the whole CD. :)

    Will be checking out both cd's soon as well...

     

    Listened to it some time ago and forgot about it... Checked it again a few weeks ago... Same guy(s) as aural planet....

    And I feel obliged to put here the re-release of H.U.V.A Network - Distances

     

    Nobody should miss out on this one.

    Idd... Reservations have started... So it will be there for sure... :)

     

    Anyway

     

    Suntrip - Opus Iridium cd 2 is one of the best chill compies I own... Good melodies, nothing too ethnical and no usual dubbyness, so very ultimae like, but even more melodic then the usual ultimae cd... 10 on 10

     

    Hol Baumann - Human is another personal favourite

     

    Colourform is nice

     

    Distant system was ok, but not really memorable in the end...

     

    I awake I didn't like, really didn't like the vocals and if you leave them out then it seems the cd has not that much to offer...

     

    Still need to buy some 2008 stuff so...

    This will kick enormous amounts of ass =) I will try to really blow the roof off for the finale...

     

    Will you play hiscore - identify? (always wanted to here that one and don't have the vinyl I guess nobody in Belgium has...) :) Btw don't forget in Belgium they play oldskool every week so please no people can fly and deedrah remix from leptonhead etc :) You've the vinyl collection so give it your best :lol:
