  1. CVs (Resumes) I rejected:

People who had large gaps in their employment history

Having encountered this several times, it just pisses me the fuck off. I'm unsure of what counts as a ''large gap'' in this case but most of the time, I'm almost certain many can't help it.

(Not directed at you personally, Abasio)

    Interviewees I rejected:

The guy who showed up in a tracksuit

The guy who was late because he got distracted using facebook (actual excuse)

    The guy who came drunk

The guy who wouldn't believe the interview was no smoking

    So hilarious, yet so sad.

  2. About to eat my partner's delicious homemade sausage patties.

Also, I got myself three job interviews in the last two weeks. One of them at Scandinavia's biggest e-commerce businesses and the other one in Riga at a recognized IT-company (should look great in my louzy CV), both of them through staffing agencies. The third one is just a part-time job as a salesclerk in one of our many new obsolete malls in Malmö.

Hopefully, I won't fuck up the job interview tomorrow and will myself Latvia soon, but that's also depending entirely on when I get a positive answer from the slowasses at the former company.

I'm bored out of my mind and the ''activities'' at the job centre are a complete waste of everyone's time. On a more positive note, I have tons of time to play my video games to death and re-watch all of Breaking Bad's seasons.

    :)

  3. A pattern I've noticed is that people who announce that they're leaving psynews never end up leaving.

One of the things you learn from years on Psynews, is that you can turn your back on a member, but never turn your back on Psynews.

  4. I did not ask for drama, but it is a very thin line in this forum, that has to be crossed to have the next drama, or better to say, if you want anyone to be against you in this forum, say Filteria doesn`t produce superb school goa trance. From now on I don`t want to read any negative commends about full on and Skazi.

I can safely assume that it all comes down to how you put forward your opinion. I for one think that Sphongle is overrated, boring and awful. No personal insults towards the artists themselves nor do I get all worked up if someone enjoys their music and completely disagrees with me. And I leave it a that.

  5. I honestly don't know anything about Badoo, but I find social networking more and more pointless. And since I'm not looking for dates either, even more so. Facebook especially. Don't get me wrong, it is a great way to keep contact with your distant relatives and friends, as in my case - having relatives in both Switzerland and Hungary. But it has come to a point where the newsfeed almost entirely contains updates from people who obsessively share every-fucking-thing they do. I've unchecked a handful of people already but cannot be bothered anymore. It ain't helping.

The only thing that keeps me coming back to Facebook these days are the science and gaming pages that I've subscribed to. My own page is slowly becoming a wasteland too, besides the occasional updates. Couldn't care less if Facebook were to be no more.

If I wanted to meet someone, I prefer to do so at parties as someone said earlier.

  6. I like being unemployed. I have plenty of things to keep me busy, in fact I don't have nearly enough time to do all the things I'd like too.

    Yes.

Lucky bastard, I guess. I wish I could enjoy my unemployment the same way you do.

    :D

  7. I'm unemployed and have been for four years, but I've only been actively looking for work for a couple. Had a job interview yesterday.

Four years? How do you manage? I'm curious. I've been unemployed since June and I can't stand it anymore. That's barely three months.

Excuse me for necroposting, but I found this topic interesting, coincidentally I'm going to a job interview tomorrow/today.

The two previous interviews didn't work out. The second the employer suspiciously glanced at and questioned whether my educational background revealed other ambitions, I was fucked. I guess they were seeking after a obedient clerk with no plans for the future.

Hopefully, this one will work out. But I'm not holding my breath.

  8. so 2 eps of final breaking bad down so far, what you reckon?

it's building to be a epic finale, some we will see coming, some we won't

This show is really pushing my patience to its limits. Can't wait for today's third episode.

Whatever it is building towards, it has to be one hell of an ending.

  9. 11. No way.

    12. Only as long as I can end my life whenever I want. I'd love to see how the world looks like in 200 to 300 years from now, but at one point, you'll have seen it all and life will get boring.

    13. No. Not being able to control it would just be strange and pointless.

    14. No.

  10.

It is for the sake of it, but you can choose anyone you want like a mass murdered or some child rapist. I would answer yes to 1, but no to 3 cause I could kill an innocent person. 10 million dollars are tempting though.

Ah, I see. It makes more sense now. I'll have to say 'Yes' to question #1 then.

  11. Isn't kind of contradicting to answer no to 1, but yes to 3?

One is entirely up to me, someone specific, which I have no answer to as we speak. The other one is just a random person that I don't know at all. Or at least that's how I interpreted it.

  12. 1. As we speak, no. Yes.

    2. Yes.

    3. Yes. More than once.

    4. No.

    5. A clone? I'd create a dozen!

    6. Meh. But probably, in which case I'd go with C.

    7. Animals.

    8. I'd tell the world, just to gloat.

    9. No.

    10. Radi & the Bulgarian mountains. And some beer.
