  1. New teaser its a Dark Melodic track, listen either on my site or myspace www.diaks.com www.myspace.com/diaks (Better sound quality on my site) 192 kbps 128 kbps on myspace =/
  2. I feel the same a bit..for example artifact303 track i had allready heard since he posted it in the promo section so it was not a new track, afgin track was also released for free here in promo section before this cd came out, shaktas track was the one i had highest expectations on and it seemed promising but really when hearing the entire track it is really not on par with his older tracks such as micronesia, arsim on acid, misra indica, etc it sounds more like he made it in a hurry and overall it sounds much more vst/digital then any of his previous tracks made in the 90´s The radical distortion track i find to be annoying because it has the bass on top of the whole track like a cloud of cheese, and it sounds like they try to immitate mfg old style with pretty poor result because i dont hear any story telling its just random notes going up and down in that israeli scale!, reminds me a bit of omegahertz kind of greece uplifting/cheese. The track i need to listen more to is ethereal i think because their previous tracks i have learned to like over time since they arent as direct, more floating type goa wich is great when executed well.. the other tracks i dont even remember The ambient cd might be good need to find time to listen to it. Overall compared to other new school goa trance releases i think pyramidal trancendense was better since it had more of a theme to it and the track selection was made in a pretty clever way, Astrancer-Dzog Chen! thats the type of track i would have liked to hear on this cd with good mastering. I have noticed that a lot of people enjoy artifact303 track on opus iridium and i can understand why since its probably very nice on the dancefloor, but i liked his ancestors track and and trip to the sun more, since they had better 303/audio realism bassline parts, but i heard some rumours he will release some nice tracks soon Overall i think that its would have been a cooler idea to make one cd for the morning/light goa style and the other cd for dark/night goa style A new talpa track would have been nice or something like that, to much of this love plur ethno baba hug goa lately i think.. there are lots of people who enjoy the more serious tones of this genre as well, i mean something in the veins of old UX or MFG, or Slinky Wizard.. something really twisted. Cheers
  3. Haha you mean when you sent an e-mail asking for help with macromedia flash? lol do i look like some flash helper? use google man I choose who i wanna answer e-mails from
  4. Ok i managed to listen through the entire track, hm the first impression i get is that the kick drum is in there somewhere drowned in the bass.. and the synths sounds are very high pitched and digital, im really missing some kind of depth in the pan image, and for the track progression it gets very monotone after a while im just beeing honest here hope you dont take offence you should try to work on your story telling in the track, as it is now its basically just the same pattern on repeat and then some variations on the end with transpose.. And the melody sounds very "cacophonic" Di di di di dii di du du du du di di, Di di di di dii di du du du du di di,, over and over again. It needs an intro, hook, main melody, climax and outro.. variations, make the melodies talk a bit.. more "expressive leads" if you want some kind of story telling. Just my view on it, other then that i think you have potential if you are able to take criticism since i noticed earlier here that you went to criticize someone here who gave you feedback and thats not very nice, i mean if someone takes their time to listen to your music you better be prepared to some honest feedback, not only praises
  5. that was fun! those where the days man.. time passes by to fast
  6. So you mean that israeli scales or not exotic/oriental? In my book it cant get more oriental then that, it shares the same tonality as arabic music.
  7. I agree to some extent to what mr synogen said here, i think that with pandemonium! you had something really nice going on. It was much more vivid and original imo, for example a mad scientists night and the rest of the tracks in that style.. This track right here sounds good no doubt about it, but i cant help to compare it with astral projections earlier tracks so therefore it sounds like a light version of their tracks. The portamentos and glissando style israeli scales are here and you replicate damn well what astral did in the past. And i think thats how you learned goa by replicating faithfully what others did with the only difference that they used analog synthesizers and you rely solely on vst (and a micro korg?) if im not misstaken, Its the same thing as filteria he replicates the etnica/pleiadians sound etc its always much more easy to do something that has allready been done because the formula is there allready but to make something original is way more difficult and requires a lot of imagination. I think one of the main things that added to the organic feel of P! project as well was that it seems as you recorded a lot of melodies in real time, especially flutes and stuff. So in conclusion: good track but nothing mindboggling. I liked much more the dark/joking tone of pandemonium! project :drama:
  8. Man this is not a review this is promotion, should be moved to the proper section..
  9. Listened and hm not really my cup of tea, very different styles in each track.. from nitzhonot to more strange stuff and the more uplifting side of goa trance. And i know i will sound like some old guy moaning about how it everything was better in the past.. but in this case ill prefer listening to my old distance or destination compilations or anything from flying rhino :posford: Flame on :clapping:
  10. Hmm i have listened to much to psy/goa trance, so i really enjoy listening to anything else really
  11. use e-jay kilaer software for indian hippy trance
  12. Answer is no.. at least no good goa tunes, go for logic, cubase, reason, fl, or any tracker out there.. will give you much more options and control over the sound and arrangement.
  13. :drama: A new track i have been working on this week, you can listen to a teaser of it on myspace or my site. www.diaks.com www.myspace.com/diaks
  14. Audio Realism Bassline all you need really.. if you liked rebirth you will really like this one since its much more close the sound of the real 303.
  15. A free one called classic delay, why? Because it has a very nice ping pong delay for reverbs i use Ray Space from Quik Quak, why? Because of its superb 3D accoustic simulation and very high quality reverbs imo =)
  16. The never ending question! How to make a 303 like sound? There is no manual for how to do.. or how to not do.. experiment man how do you think everyone else came up with their own unique approach to it?
  17. Some mod please move this thread to the off topic section. Seriously this thread makes no sense at all.. lots of spam.
  18. I like the transpose at 08:21 it gives it a very euphoric ending.
