Review:

The new album from Texas Faggott continues on where the last one left us.

Their style has progressed, but it is still familiarly the Faggott's. This

is a completely insane and funny fusion of styles. They've mixed a bit of

everything on the basis of psy-trance: electro, funk, Finnish pop, you name

it. The music is very colourful and bouncy, ridiculous and mad. I should

also say very 'full', not too much space left here. This album has moved

closer to "normal" psy-trance in a positive way, still retaining the Faggott

sound. The melodies and sounds are also better than on their previous album

and these new tracks are more varied. Tracks are very short, but still

progress surprisingly much, resulting in very densely packed tracks. The

progression is sometimes maybe even a bit too fast.

Hector Sector (1) opens the album well. It's more "normal", but still crazy.

Good. Love Ice (2) is good and takes the sound more to the faggott style,

where Hoosianna (3) can pick it off, being one of the best tracks on this

album. Great melody/sound at the end crowns this awesome track. Lung Lock

(4) is really crazy, maybe a bit too crazy. Jäätelöautomaatti (5) has a

sample from a finnish pop-song and is really funny. Good. Tracks 6 and 7 are

both good and insane, but nothing really special. Impastil (8) is really

good, more "normal" sound again. Breast Boogie (9) would have been better

without the changes in tempo in my opinion. They ruin an otherwise good

track. Lemuria (10) and Millenibum (11) were released on the 'Back to Mad'

EP. Lemuria (10) is another awesome track with a really good groove with a

great bassline. Pumping! Millenibum (11) is good, but nothing special. The

same goes for Humour Tumour (12). Both are good music. Resergean (13) is

great finale for this album. Less pumping, but still not really chill-out.

Something there in between with lots of crazy sounds, like the whole album

actually. This has to be some of the best finno-trance out there. Just need

to be in the mood for this, can't listen to it all the time. 8/10.

Review:

People who were brainblast by the first, will be disappointed by this one. I

think that the second album of IM is not so "deeper" as "The Gathering". The

sounds and the songs melodies are more "soft". They're using instruments like

acoustic guitar, piano, clavecin and violon. But the Infected style is here and

some songs are really kick ass. Perhaps "Classical Mushroom" is a new way of

Psychedelic Trance music, i don't know... So, "Classical Mushroom" is not at all

a real Trance Psychedelic album (for me), but fans (like me) can buy it.

This must be the most neglected and underrated gem, nobody even made a review thread for it?

This is the greatest sequel to Transdimensional of all the D5 & Co albums from 2000, indeed it surpasses it. It's super energetic, intelligent, deep and full of epic melodies with little cheese if any. Having a really loud kick and baseline with melodies swirling in the background makes it all the more powerful and better, not to mention giving it another unique edge.

The opening track Phoenix takes awhile (several minutes) to build up ambient atmosphere and set the tone for the whole album before anything really starts. When it does it is soon evident this is a two up on the Pleiadians! It uses very similar sounds as the Pleiadians did but it also has a huge overarching direction and presence they mostly lacked. After that the album becomes less superficial but maintains energy and interest throughout. I won't type about all the tracks, I'll just say they are all excellent and steeped in truly magical sounds and melodies. In the D5 style the sounds used in the music are unique to this CD and particularly amazing. The heights of the album are Fallen Angel, Dreamstar, Magic Mirror and Matrix, though all the tracks are favorites. The other notable track is Wavespell, which has a cool tribal beat and beautifully closes the album and the journey leaving us in a state of tranquility!

I really can't think of any more spiritual musical experience than this CD. I'm actually convinced that all spiritual music lovers will love it and it's the psytrancer harsh-music-for-dancing scene that cannot appreciate it. Most of the tracks are perfect. The flow and mixing of the album is perfect. The opening and closing tracks are perfect. Hell, even the artwork is perfect.

This and the other D5 albums, along with the albums from Chi-AD, were both the last breath and greatest height of goa trance. There's no hint of psytrance or minimalism or whatever else that had already taken hold at the time, this is pure melodic goa that has yet to have been rivaled by any of the "newschool goa" artists.

Favorite tracks: 1!,2,3!,4,5!,6!!,8!!,7,9!!,10!!

10/10 and #1 album IMO.

Review:

Ok.. A long awaited album finally released...on Avatar Records..

1st track starts of with a sample similar to dancing galaxy by astral

projection.. into a typical kickdrum... very hypnotic.. samples of voices very

muffled or something of this sort... no breaks in this one..2nd track sounds

very much like Paranoic Sensation - Matrix (Rmx)..

in my opinion... very nice kickdrum and cruncy sounds everywhere...It gets

REALLY twisted after a while... One of my Fav tracks of this year...very

psychedelic..3rd track was just crazy...all building up to something... 4th

track sounds kind of old school a bit.. has some nice samples... nice one...

5th one has some nice sounds... but kinda bored me...6th one is another one of

my favorites.. the intro is just too great...very dancy... GREAT ONE...7th one

has a very funky slapy kind of bass... some vocal samples... everything making

sense in the end kind of track with key changes etc...8th track is quite old

school sounding... and the closing track 9 is very hard kickdrum... the whole

song is kind of minimal and hard...I would say this album has some nice

songs... specially #2 #4 and #6 !!!!! 9/10!

Review:

This is very old-school sounding goa from Filip Mardberg, who seems to be able

to manufacture a variety of music styles. This album is very full-on with lots

of 303 lines, aggressive synths, and whirling psychedelia. Production of this

album is the major drawback -- the compiled/finished tracks must have been

pushed through a "tin can" filter, as the sound-stage is non-existent! The

bass/mids/treble don't sound balanced whatsoever, and with aggressive full-on

music that's very bad as the sound can get too harsh. Musically and

technically however, this album is quite good. Anyone who enjoys music like

Toi Doi or even Shakta will appreciate this album. Best track is Mind Puzzle,

Second edition of the midpriced Goa Classix series from Nova Tekk. I'm not

sure, that if I'd had to compile a series of classic tracks I'd chosen all

these tracks. But there are REALLY good tracks on this CD. And when

considering the price (Available across Europe for about £5-7) this is a

VERY GOOD cd. Personal highlights for me are Shakta, Pleiadians, and

Chi-A.D. If this cd was full-prices I would have been more sceptic, but I

really think you get your moneys worth with this, and this is also a good cd

for ppl getting into psychedelic music, and wants to get to know some of the

old stuff before buying the full albums. Crappy artwork though! This gets a

7.5/10 in my chart! Bom shankar!

Amir Dvir is back!

your opinion about Luminus wont change here. Those who loved the first album

will love this one, those who hated the first will hate the second. the name

Hypnotica is quite representative of the tracks themselves: many nice

twisted hypnotic energetic repetitive mental melodies with a fast beat

(nksssbom nksssbom nksssbom....). The Hommega site, comparing with the

jouney into your Dreams states: "minus the cheese"...well not exactly as

there are remainings of the cheese, but this is a good work. My opinion is

just that this album should have been worked on just a little more. Globally

the tracks are good, two of them had already been released (4:Total

Conciousness, 7:Diablo), my favourites are nr: 2 (Feat Passenger as it just

sounds like Passenger..), 4, 5, 7, 8.

This is a special album, not really psytrance, not really pzatzot, something

different. The only problem is that you are fed up with listening to it

after a few times, so only 6/10

Review:

First the Zorba song is stomping but cool with great sequences in whiche the

music gets some power. Ok song.

Then Chakra offers a track that's not so good: big noise and voices around. Not

good to my mind.

Then a track by Erez Aizen (1/2 Infected Mushroom), that's a very little bit

fluffy at the begining, then it becomes wicked ans twisted. Another Killer

from Israel.

Now we are going to Denmark to hear a good tune by Saiko Pod. I can't deny this

is Ok for a dancefloor. Pure Franck'e style! GOOD!

At first sight you may think the Psychedelic Terrorist is a very fast

Jungle/Break Beat track, but after 90 seconds you get maaaaaad with this pure

absolute KILLER of the mind! Hang on, this is true, this is terror!

If you escape this, you are driven to the next track.

Indeed, get immediately some Aspirin because X-Dream have created the most fat

rhythm+bass in the world. the track whants to be slow, but it's very

interesting as noone hasmade such a strange psychedelic trance track before

(is this psychedelic?). It's ok for you but you head might implode.

If you escape the XD factory you will return to Israël where Ofer has watched a

lot of old science fiction movies. The track is full of funny "mars

attacks"-like noises. It's also fast, superb work on drums, bass and rhythmic.

Of course you won't avoid the usual sequence in he middle of the track of

Ofer. I'd like to see the result over a dancefloor...

Yahel has composed a track that fast, sometimes cheesy. Just like always: the

track would have needed some additional work not to sound so cheesy in the

second part. But this is Yahel's work. now we are used to it.

.....Now, prépare your best psychedelic shoes (no, the others best ones because

the very best ones have been destroyed during the Total Eclipse track)!

Breathe...again...calm...ok?...let's go!

Symphonatic is -for sure- a little bit cheesy somtimes... But try not to dance

over this and you'll see it's really difficult. I heard this during an IM

live, and the girl next to me almost had an orgasm. This is full full on,

no-compromise pure psychedelic killer. Don't resist, they are too strong.

Hypnotone, at least, helps you to find back reality. This is still a good

stomping track, a bit modified here, and i really like it a lot.

Overall, I can say the tracks are very good, there are absolute killers in this

compil, but i also have a little criticism to add: the styles are too

different. That's too hard to quit X-Dream and start with Oforia, for

example... This happens at least 3 times in this compil.

so my advice is to cut the thing, and make your own compil out of the separate

tracks. 7.5/10

it starts with a nice morning track by Analogue Dream. The last one, by Stefan

Dragon, is also a good motning drop. The rest of tracks is amazing, very hard

and with good melodies. Orbit Luna RULEZ!!! You aren't human, you are nasty

Mad music from the French masters of minimal techno. Impossible to describe

each track. All of them have something special and are filled with hard lines,

acid soundz, confusing moments and those subliminal kicking drums and idiotic

baselines that characterized this guys and Paps. My favs "Pit Fits Fiss" and

Review:

New release from french Martin Cooper. The cover is awesome, there are some

aliens..., just beautiful.

These new tracks represent for me a little disappointment : he uses almost the

same sounds as on his first tracks !!

I find this style too boring, Martin hasn't really evolved. It's a shame.

This album is good for european Club !

I loved this group for several months but now it's different. I'm became tired

of Asia 2001.

I give it 4/10.

Contrary to many of you, I didn't like the Synchro style before. Now I

like it! Briefly, all the tracks belong to a groovy line of style,

very clear, with simple and efficient sounds. No full-psy style

here. Sometimes you remind of the former album, but this is different in

some ways. It's simple, and THE feeling is there. The goods sounds are

always in the good places at the good time. A really good trip in your

mind. Well well well. What else to say? Buy And listen. My

favourites: 1,2,3,6,7 PS: At the first sight of the tracklisting, you

could say: "what? 3 tracks are doubled?". Yes, they are but it's worth it.

when a track has 2 versions, you really have 2 feelings expressed, and each

remains accessible to the sofa or to the dancefloor. It's an interesting

research. Those are definitely NOT remixes "to fill-in the CD". mmmh.

good: 7/10

Review:

This is Boris Blenn's fifth release as Electric Universe, and my very first

impression of this album is, that he's WAY to busy putting out new albums

without thinking about the quality. It's the old saying, quantity Vs

quality. With that being my first impression, I also have to give Boris

Blenn credit, because this album isn't ALL BAD. There are good tracks, and I

especially like the tracks "Moonchild" and "Love Is Not A Crime". The first

2 tracks and the last one does absolutely nothing for me, and the rest are

average. Packed with boring voice samples and uses a lot of percussions and

electric guitars and the odd "technoish" sound that E.L. seem to have

adopted. All stuff that's been seen before.. Only better! So, come again

Boris. You can do much better than this. Rating 5.5/10. Bom shankar!

Quality tracks in this

one. First track by C.A.M.B. starts of with nice dark sounds. This track

sounds so much like GMS I start to wonder who are they ?

Second track by Absolut Noise.very dark basslines and sweepy sounds.. low

melody which doesnt sound like a melody more sounds everywhere ...

with a little touch of funky slap bass on top..driving constant kickdrum..Third

track by GMS Vs Manitu. This one starts of with very creepy haunting

sounds..and that typical Gms kickdrum like "StarWars"

You can really make out the diffrence between GMS and Manitu in this one...

Party Killer!!!Fourth track is by Wizzy Noise... Intro with not much happening

just a hard kickdrum and some very minimal sounds. slowly getting the snare

and hi-hats in.its progressing as time passes.. this track breaks alot.. at a

part it goes into a triplet feel. which is just excellent... with scractchy

noises.. They are really Wizzy...! Fifth track Absolum Vs Nomad.. Game Part

2.. Many of you have heard this track on the EP.. This one is a killer... one

of my favorites.. specially that siren at the end of the track and the

bassline is just killer. This one is going in a straight direction and then

suddenly turns into the oppisite way .. which is what I love about it..Party

Killer! Sixth one is by Deedrah...The intro has some tribal drums and into

that very deep bassline...the kickdrum stops and it goes into some violins..

and someone shouting and back into the trancey part of it... sounds going ev!

erywhere...this has very subtle thin spacey melodies..very diffrent deedrah

track! Towards the end this track just goes somewhere else with those

melodies...Seventh track is by Bamboo Forest. Very dark sounds.. not much

melodies..more about the mids in this song... Eigth track is by Sonic Kinkies.

Dark sounds into melodies.. and back into dark.. this track is an excellent

one.. just has so many nice breaks and very flowing melodies.. and HARD

basslines...and nice samples...progressing into something very nice. Ninth

track (Closing track) is by Yucatan. This one is kind of downtempo... very

nice hallucinogenic one.. evry typical nowday ambient sounds.. lots of

percussion... and those sharp sweepy waves.. nice one!

I really liked this album.. I give this a definate 9/10 without hesitating!

Review:

In one word... FANTASTIC!! Never heard anything like this...

This CD is made by the guys of the Battle Buddha's, Ka-Sol And Subcouds... (the

other names are the results of the co-operations between them)! And this CD is

much lighter than their last Schlabbaduerst-CD which was extremely hard...

This one sounds like the PERFECT morning-Trance... Great basslines, hard

rhytms and véry good and hypnotising melodies, and on those melodies you have

those mindbending and scratching psychedelic sounds... 2 songs on the CD are

more night-music and rather dark (nr 6 And 7)! But I simply can't say what I

feel while listening to the others songs!! I fly far, faaar away... ALL the

songs are véry good but 4 songs are simply AWESOME...

number 3... (David Tingsgard made this CD because of this song), number 8 which

has a wonderful melody and many deep psychedelic sounds on it... Number 2 that

is fast, sunny and dark at the same time... And number 9 that is full with

strange and complete insane melodies...

This CD is maybe NOT from Twisted Records or whatever, but this is high-quality

Psychedelic Trance and that's all that matters for me...

I thought I would never find a CD as good as Twin Sharkfins, but this one is AS

good... So I give this one !!!!10/10!!!! Simply a MUST for everyone, go and

order it NOW at http://listen.to/Schlab Bom Shankar

Review:

First the Saiko-Pod is a cool pumping dancefloor track with 2 parts. The first

one is mainly rhythmic, and the second one is more psychedelic with synthetic

sounds going from one ear to another quickly !

The Psychaos track is for sure a Psychaos track: usual rhythm And sounds. A

pretty repetitive tune but various enough not to be bored.

The NTSX thing is like a hardtekno track: big beat, industrial-like sounds...ok

track on a dancefloor i guess.

Antidote (Total Eclipse) guys are definitely mad with this angry track: Techno

influences again. everything is fat on this tune. Don't expect psychedelic

waves, the deal is mainly a beat-summonning-dancing-zombies track !!

Dino Psaras And sterilizer piece of music starts with the usual running rhythm

of tortured brain tracks...a guy talking in the background tells us the story

and after 3 minutes, the madness begins: the track makes me think of someone

running away, stopping, running again, getting out of breath. The drums are

used with expertise and there are big breaks with wizzy sythetic sounds and a

rain of kicks!

Morphem track is very fast...pumping. Some patterns are filled with a cool

recurrent theme. the end is more melodic and the whole result is very good!

This MWNN track as released by Oforia 2+ years ago...Typical MWNN music, very

psychedelic, good groove, good rise...but i dont like the break:too fluffy.

The track is good anyway but i prefer Pigs in Space remix.

Nucleus provide us with a monotonic track...waves of smooth sounds over a

rhythm..nothing else.

Eventually the Etnica track is very good! It vas written a long time ago and

it's a pleasure to see it on a compil. So it has a truly groovy kick/bassline,

the psychedelic sounds come after 2 minutes, increase after 5 minutes, more

psychedelic sounds come after 6 minnutes the track is like a cool story. The

rhythm is really perfect.

Overall we have once again a very good compil from Atomic. The best tracks are

1,3,4,5,6,9 to my mind. New sounds...very interesting...8/10.

Review:

The long awaited album of the furious isra-helli Zeev, Boxer, And Rizzo is here

to catch your soul.

Unusual Ceremony is very calm in te beginging, then it begins to accelerate,

and starts to pump on your brain after 4 minutes. That's a strange voodoo

track, with guitars and a rhythm you can only like.

Uine Saracomm is a strong piece of music, hard And dark. Its background is

repetitive and the top level layers were taken from the grave. There is a big

break, and after, it's a mix between scary melodies+voices, and very twisted

sounds.

Supernova is a more conventional track with no compromise. The whole tracks

doesn't leave you any breathing space! (A true machinegun in a trench

warfare). Some psychedelic sounds also slip over the rest of the music.

From beyond is also very dark. It consists mainly in a fat And fast rhythm. Not

really interesting except the way the breaks tend to surprise people.

Depth of Emotion is very energetic, with a big rhythm and strange sounds all

over during the first 4 minutes. Then the guitars come again with their

gruesome melody that repearts all the time. There is a different rhythmic and

the track gets wicked And scary with all those phantom voices

everywhere...aaaah!

Tales of Tragedy has -once again- sounds that summon all the graveyards around,

over a very repetitive rhythm. Not bad, but not my favourite track either.

Suckobus is certainly what you want to compose whe you see horror movies! At

first, the track is like an angry thing, not really psychedelic; then it

unrolls and the music takes you... At the end, distorted dark scratchy sounds

want to gain possession of your body and get it to dance...

sleep Walking: again the same recipe: rhythm and soulburning sounds in the

first half. the second half is full of gurgling sounds. It looks a bit like a

Sandman track.

Gothic Prayer is, to my mind, the best track in this album: it looks like some

Delta track. The rhythm is such that you -must- dance. the bassline gets

through you, and the sounds makes your spin to chill. At last, there is a

neverending tiny melody over that. I'm sure Dark Soho wants to hypnotize

people with this track.

You, who think that some composers are non-human , you are right.

You, who always think the best groups come from space, you are wrong.

Excellence can also come from the land of the Dead!

You, who like rhythmic things that mean something, go to the local graveyard to

get this album...9/10.

Review:

very good, groovy, modern, heavy and hard!.

one of the best things atomic released so far. all those tracks are unreleased

on CDS (!). all those tracks were already released on vinyls by atomic last

year and this year.

if you are a party bitch, then you must know all those tracks (i do).

(track 1) - ok first track is from Menis (-Hamburger), i'm not sure but i

think that he is half semsis, not sure:).

anywayz very hard and weird tracks with a nice vocal sample in the start. not

a fast track something like 137-140 bpm. really like the drums and all the

background fx'es, and a nice ending:).

(track 2) - after that dark and scarry tune from menis we have another darkish

track

from Aztec (-Outer Breath). that one is much more groovier and danceable. very

nice beat and i love that vocal sample in the middle of the tracks. really

good track, gotta luv it.

(track 3) - now this one i like a lot!!. Semsis (-Storm in a Test Tube) gives

here a lot of weirdness and craziness like they usually do. listen to those

drums with those weird voices in the background and the nice hihat's. very

good!.

(track 4) - what can i say?. i love this track!. love those drums and hihat's.

those strings in the background can kill people in a party. lots of dark and

still groovy:).

Psychaos (- Techno Logical) rules(!) heh.

(track 5) - Welcome to "what the fuck is this" land. weird track i like that

kinda melody in the middle and that high tom in the start is really cool

(great drums). this track called Chronic (by Voodoo People) and this is maybe

the perfect name for that track cause all those drums and the weird and scary

atmosphere in it.

(track 6) - NOW this is a GROOOVYYYY TRACK!. my favorite track from this

compilation.

nothing else to say, just listen to it!! wooo (Cydonia - Anaconda).

(track 7) - here is another good track by Nucleus (-Dark Horse). the beginning

make it sounds a bit ambient and chill track but then u have a lot of

craziness and those vocals that runs all over just rules:). though that its

kinda slow track something like 141bpm.

(track 8) - Who said israeli trance is chessy (all the time). Ofer Dikovsky

(a.k.a Oforia, Tandu, Solaris and more) brings us lots of weirdness and it

still good!. i love those 808's go up and down. (Solaris - Extra Mundane).

nice track.

(track 9) - this track is an old track by morphem called Hypnotone. trancy

vibes all over. its a club trance, morning trance track. really good and it

was rebuilt (i dont know what the fuck that means) by Cydonia. nice melody in

the middle. a nice ending track.

well i really enjoyed listening to this cd. hope you will. - Mascok

Review:

This is a thrilling chillout album. It represents several years of

collaboration and tweaking and it works wonderfully. The album opens with a

gentle delicacy that really gets the mind watering, and continues through

many avenues of dub and hypnotic rythms. It is somewhat less Posfordised

than Celtic Cross in that only Magnetica has his unmistakeable signature

stamped on it. In fact it would seem that this really is Youth's baby, and a

beauty it is too. Greg Hunter adds an enormous amount to the production

quality of this album - coming from the Orb, Subsurfing (- GET Frozen Ants

or forever be sorry!!) and most recently Alien Soap Opera. His particular

flavour shows through especially in Concrete Tourist- a dub lined groover,

and Return of the Native - a tribal/hispanic treat. Each tune has a definite

flavour, and I admit that they are not so immediately earcatching as, say,

Shpongle, but there's plenty there to involve even the most discerning

ambient lover. Not every tune stands out enough to be heard in the best

chillout mixes but overall a superb quality. Don't expect Shpongle or Celtic

Cross - but do enjoy ! 8/10

Review:

This is the second album cd release from the French label Infinium - and I

shall certainly be keeping an ear on them in future! This is what French

chilled trance is all about from my perspective - lushous gentle midrange,

slow but noticeable beats, catchy simple melodies in all the right places

and basically a wonderful downtempo trip. This is not the most psychedelic

of albums, but it is delicate and well thought out - the tunes drift into

one another seemlessly and the gradual pace changes come all in the right

places for an 80 minute session of smiles and daydreaming.

The album intro is brief, leading into the marvelous Jaia 'l'ivresse..' tune

that has appeared already on another of 2000's best chillout releases - Nada

Masala vol.1. This is a real treat if you haven't heard it. Then comes the

first of Asura/Asura-members's many contributions to the melting pot - slow

and gradually taking your mind towards a well delivered melody. Toires ups

the beat frequency a little while staying down deep and mysterious. The

second Asura tune is a total delight - perhaps the best I've heard from

them. Rich and beautifully detailed. One of this compilations many

highlights.

Hol Baumann turns up the grit a little with a growly guitar riff and deep

beats, leading into Solar fields playful acid-funk number. This gives way to

Chi-ads excellent dub-driven Slide and on to Distortion Orchestra with their

spacey synths. Aes Dana is one part of Asura, and there's no surprise how

this sounds. Bamboo flutes and deep, slow Transwave-styled beats all the

way.

The Mystical Sun is a short tribal excursion - but to me the sample sounds

just slightly tinny and noisy - a short lapse in otherwise great production.

Craig Padilla's tune is soft, synthy and beatless - a bit less interesting

to me, but not dreadful. Then comes True Frequencies with their Leary

samples and piano feast, ending with another ATOI extract.

Clearly the intention was to really wind the pace down towards the end of

the album, which works well, though I feel that the last tunes hold fewer

treats than the first two thirds of the compilation. Otherwise superb.

8/10

Review:

Process is Benji Vaughan and Sean Williams and they're among the veterans of

psytrance. They've been signed to such labels as Flying Rhino, Tip, Matsuri

and Transient. This new album is fairly good and offers good, quality

British psytrance. My personal favourites are Oktober Revolution and

Psychobabble (Hint: Killer-melody!!), but I generally look upon this album

as an entity and the tracks blends beautifully into each other. The style

can't really easily be categorised. At times it's dark, moody and

minimalistic, but then there's full-on stomping, psychedelic moments as

well. All in all, this is good without being anything special. Rating:

7,4/10 Bom shankar!

Review:

It's obvious that the guys of Lotus Omega don't often go out of Ibiza

island, and they dont perform live easily. So here you have a sample of

their inimitable style. This is a very brutal one, but what a madness on a

dancefloor! Always remember (before you read the rest of the review) that

-I- found this album very good And creative, but I believe many people wont

think the same... we'll see later. I forgot to tell you: If you happen

to suffer from heart trouble, call an ambulance before listening to this

album! Moreover it should be listened to at once, from the begining to the

end, imo. All the tracks are quite the same. here, no fine

instruments, no nice bassline, no dancefloor-oriented kicks: everything is

fat And hard. the rythm is always the same: a fast "bom-bom-bom-bom...",

and imagine a set of weird noisy sounds over this. The melody?: scratchy

& wobbly samples! Just like a chainsaw butchery. What's good in

this? Ok: in each track there is quite a sort of magic thing that makes it an

original piece of artwork, something that makes you dance even if your ears

sense it's horrible. Just lively! The tracks now: 1 "Mastermind" is

one of the worst ones. Quite good, a good control of all the instruments, and

a good moving transition at the end that's all. 2 "Kuru Kuru" is like a

militray tune. Imagine you're crushed by a tank regiment. So many good wobbly

sounds... Now you understand the sense of the title of the album. really

excellent. 3 "Renegade" is a bit like Kuru Kuru minus the delicacy! You can

hear twisting sounds everywhere, destroying breaking patterns full of noisy

& computer sounds. a very good work on the drumloops. 4 "Flower of

Life" operates a change in the rythm of the album: now you're on lightspeed.

The rythm is vert fast & soft, still a bit military, but the sounds

behind this are twisting everywhere, entering by one ear, coming out by the

other....wow!! There is an excellent sequence of pure dancefloor atmosphere

at 7:00. impossible to describe this piece...rhaaa...incredible. 5 "Beauty

and the Beast" returns to the first style of the album, a bit

like Mastermind. I don't understand this track although there are really

good psychedelic souds sometimes. Maybe it's because the rythm is a

bit shifted... 6 "Diwali" is a bit like Flower of Life. The kicks arrange

nicely with the rest of the 'instruments'. some sounds are falling, as if the

synths had bugged, and sometimes you remind of the little sounds you liked in

Crop Circles tracks. 7 "Deep Sea" is amazing: it's ambient. but NOT ANY

form of ambient: it's Lotus Omega ambient. this track consists in a cool

melody that repeats everytime, with a very cool rythm compared to what you've

listened to before. Sometimes there are remainings of the weird sounds from

the rest of the album. At the end another cool melody adds to the first. It's

refresing. Ok, it's not a masterpiece of ambient, but you can apreciate to

end on this cool note. My final opinion is that if you like very hard

psychedelic trance, without compromises, this album is for you. If you're

more delicate...you'll die before the end. This album looks a bit like the

Hux Flux one. As for me, i liked it a lot: 7.5/10>>express

message to MM d'Amato & Scrimizzi: Stop smoking chillum on Beniras, guys!

Come And perform live in France please!>>
