Review:

Well this well mixed album is, like it's written on the cover the past, present

and the future of the "flying rhino"...James Monro did nice job with these

tracks, everything is going so smoothly and you'll really enjoy

crossovers...and now about the tracks...There are some older tunes like

"License to Slink" from Slinky Wizard...and that's really a masterpice..one of

the clasics...Whole atmosphere of the album is in the mood of flying

rhino...it's hard, sometimes very dark and repetitive

but it works' for me...Good tracks also are "Freak Disciple - Freedom

Engine","Slinky Wizard - Lunar Juice (Hallucinogen Rmx)", and specially this

one...:"Slide - Confusional State (Danny Howells Squelch Mix)" it's one great

track...it has that "funky" sample....(oh well i don't know how to describe

it)...and i think that that's the best track here;))

This compilation is for every recomendation;)) I grade it 9/10...

10/10. Lots of feelings, 110% quality and production.. The best Atmos track I

think!

VERY DISAPPOINTED !!! I would never think Pleadians could make such an album

after their fantastic IFO album !!!

Most of the tracks don't seem to be Goa ... Track 1 is pretty good, Track 7

(more Ambient than Goa Track) is good, but other tracks are poor and

repetitive ...

I don't like Tracks 2 and 3 at all :-(

Review:

I was very delighted with first compilation...and the second one is great

too...if it's not

even better;)) First CD, which is mixed by James Monro, is ambient one and it

gives us

some great relaxing tunes...it starts with very "dreamy" song called "Monkey in

the Black Sky", after that "WRA" brings us great track called fly...it has

some slow rythm and

that "peacefull" guitar sample. I will mention "Atmos" from first

cd...maaaan...this man knows how to make tracks...i can't describe this...you

just must hear it...there's also "Red Seal" with "Cool Down"...atmospheric too

with some nigro singing...) How it goes to the end, this cd speeds up a

litle and ends with "Darshan"...

...Now we come to CD 2. On the start you see that this CD will be litle faster

than previous. It seems that it's just a "brigde" between CD1, which is

ambient, and CD2

which is real hard stompin' trance (like we're used to hear from FR). Great

tracks here too but nothing so special for me... well maybe just two last

songs which are trance tracks;))...

...CD3.whoa...I love 3rd cd...hard songs for the dark nights..;)it brings you

slowly in with

"Speechless", then "Atmos" takes you in control, in his repetitive recognisable

style.

Track i don;t really like is "Kuro - KTT". And now "A DIAMOND;) "Babel Fish"...

man this will drive you crazy...what a track...it has some kind of "fat"

melody...and

it's totaly "my mind compatible" ) after that we have "12 Moons - Smell of

Sprack"

and "ManMadeMan - Halt Production"...just two average songs;(...then "Arcadia -

Psychological FX" whaaaalaaa....if i just had oportunity to hear this track on

a party i think that i would go mad...it has that

"Psy.....psy...psy........psychological efects.." crazy

sample....you must hear this...to believe. And on the end nice two songs from

"Bamboo Forest". Nice end...This was very good voyage, indeed ))))))

it hurts. I must say, that the track by Process is not bad at all. It's such

an intelligent, subtle, floaty, dreamy And psychedelic journey. I will not try

to describe the other tracks. Words wont do them justice! just get it NOW!!!

PERSONAL NITZHONOT RATING SCALE:

5 stars: Close to perfection. Makes me automatically dance. I might almost cry of joy if I listen to it. (Though I somewhat lost the ability to cry while ago... but it the same feeling I remember)
4.5 stars: Usually good-quality Nitzhonot. Makes me automatically happy.
4 stars: Average rating for Nitzhonot (higher than average if oldschool Israeli Nitzhonot). I enjoy it.
3.5 stars: Usually lower-quality Nitzhonot, or Nitzhonot that's "slow" without compensating with psychedelic elements. A bit enjoyable, but also a bit underwhelming, especially if it's Nitzhogoa. I wouldn't chose to listen to a Nitzhonot track from that quality after the first time I did for discovery purposes (except to remind myself of what it sounds like).
3 stars: Usually very amateurish music with poor melodies. Very underwhelming.
2.5 stars: Very amateurish music with poor melodies. Kind of boring. I may actually get sad if I listen to it. Or laugh at it if it sounds so amateurish that it becomes funny.
2 stars: Boring. I never felt this bad about Nitzhonot.
≤ 1.5 stars: Let me reach 2/5 first to know what my Nitzhonot 2/5  means before I even attempt to know how I would feel about ≤ 1.5 stars Nitzhonot.

REVIEW:

Lost in the Jungle:

Look at the title. Of course it features distorted animal samples (which is an oldschool Nitzhonot cliché, by the way). It also features nice tribal drums.

I don't find the melodies anthemic enough, though.

Shikana (Ofer Levy):

This one is weird. But I like the fact that the artist did experiments!

However, (correct me if I'm mistaken as I don't speak Hebrew,) I don't understand this concept of making a Nitzhonot track out of what seems to be a pretty depressing sample, as "nitzhonot" means "victories" in Hebrew. But someone else did it for Uplifting and I love their track, so I guess that kind of stuff can work, lol.

I would have enjoyed this track more if the melodies didn't drown the rest as much as they do...

Hamosad:

Somehow, I find the melody, the synth sounds and the mixing boring... So, all these three things. I usually have little to no issue with any of these things in most Nitzhonot tracks, at most I may find some melodies easy to improve. But here, all these three things are off to me! In a way, that's an achievement for a Nitzhonot track.

Devil Laugh:

Listening to almost any Nitzhonot after the previous track would have given me a sense of relief. However, while this one is better than the other one, I still don't really enjoy it.

I find the melodies boring, some synth sounds not very enjoyable, and once again I have an issue with the mixing.

Upside: I like the tambs.

Just Goa:

For a track titled "Just Goa", it sure isn't very psychedelic! 😛 But it's not unexpected from 1999 nitzhonot.

Once again, I'm not convinced with the mixing, some synth sounds (that one from 3:59 to 4:37 kinda hurts my ears...) and the melodies. However, I do feel like these are getting better. Or maybe I'm just getting used to what I used to percieve as worse than mediocrity a few minutes ago...

Last Mission:

It begins with a nice intro that reminds me of what Nitzhogoa artists would later produce. I also like these busy kick patterns. Once again, it's something that people use in Nitzhogoa nowadays.

I find the mixing and the melodies of this track more enjoyable than that of the 3 previous ones, though this one is lacking on the anthemic department. In fact, many of the melodies would not be out of place in a typical Goa Trance track, except that it's lacking psychedelic elements to make it work...

That one is meh in my opinion. Nothing about it is anthemic.

Upside: some nice tribal drums there.

HOLY SHIT, WHAT IS HAPPENING AT 5:23?!! I barely have the words for it. You see the complaints I had about mixing, synth sounds and melodies? ... yeah. But this time it's very much worse. DON'T LISTEN TO THIS TRACK WITH A HIGH VOLUME!!!

Upside: That terrible part only lasts 1 minute and 12 seconds. So basically until the end of the track. (Okay, not sure that's a good thing lol)

Damn man, that outro sucks...

D.J. Zoom:

Better mixing than the other tracks. Still a bit boring. 

And to compensate with the better mixing, a new problem has been introduced!

Why are the drums weirdly panned? Between 0:52 and 2:03 it kinda works because the kicks are on the right and the snares on the left to compensate (though the kicks are way louder than the snares so it still feels umbalanced), but then 2:18 happens and it physically uncomfortable with my headphones.

Wow!!! This Cd definitely worth a review (i only review cds i loooove). It

comes from 3D vision...created by Cristof (ex-Transwave) the most active label

in French Trance.

All the tracks are from France except Wizzy Noise from Greece.

There's 3 OUTSTANDING tracks in this compilation (3,4,7). The best is for sure

Goldfinger from Absolom. Fat bass like X-Dream And incredible squizzy

sounds...at the end when the sonic fury comes you can hear a little gril

afraid And shouting....what a sensation!!!

The Wizzy Noise is 3iincredible.....lot of dark chorus very dark And

frightening.....awesome!!!!

The Deedrah is harder to understand but after 10 listened you are addicted..

Elixir And Three Point Turn And Yumade are done for parties for sure!! I

already heard them in a Paris party And they makes you move your ass!!

The rest is not my taste...as always in compilation there's few tracks

deceiving..

That CD worth every $ you'll put to get it!!! 8/10

You may recognize the feeling from other Koyte releases like Menis -

Temporary Insanity , but this is much better!!!!

I can't decide which tracks are the best because they're all so very weird

and crazy!!!! This album is so mindblowing you

won't believe it when you first hear it.. I never heard anything quite like

it before actually, except some other Koyte

releases that I just mentioned. Listen to those sounds in the beginning of

'Experimenting With Potions' , are they freakin'

cool or what? hehe.. i'm amazed by these Swedish guys. Watch out in the

these are 1, 4, 8 i 9. Prana's tracks I don't really like, same goes to

Manmademan (his worst track I think?) and Doof's track is good but I heard

better remix elsewhere. So it gets only 5/10.

looks like hom-mega has a good stable of artists these days, as you can see

in the tracks list. the IM track is much like

the version on 'the gathering' , just some slight changes with the samples

and some sounds. passenger track is good

and the yahel track is very good! love it. mfg sounds like they use to.,

psysex and xerox tracks are good too, only a little

downfall on track 7.. freeman isn't as good by himself as with xerox i

think. but then comes the big surprise.. green house

effect (anyone ever heard of them??).. this tracks is actually awesome!!!

easily the best track on the compilation. not too

much annoying sounds and very straight on.. love to hear more from those

guys!!!! last track is also nice with dana scully

(i think?) being sampled. overall a very nice compilation, and so far the

best of the full on:s.. rating: 7/10

This starts of very good with 'Pop' and 'Travelling at the speed of

thought'. This is a X-dream side project and especially

on the first track you can hear that. Second track is also cool (even if

there's electric guitars in it, *sigh). This track

is a nice dancefloor track, listen to it loud!!! The intro before the

guitars comes in is very cool. This whole album is

very dark much like X-dream : Radio, but something is missing.. you won't

get that feeling from the tracks as you get from

Radio.. I guess most of you heard "as a child i could walk on the ceiling"

.. and this is also a nice track.. but I think

many tracks on this album are similiar to each other.. Last four tracks are

actually not very good at all. Stick to X-dream

guys and release some well-produced stuff instead of this!!!! and please get

rid of the guitars!!! Rating: 5/10

A good compilation with many big names on it and lots of different styles, but

do we need another CD with already very known tracks from Infected Mushroom

and Astral Projection? Planet BEN And Synchro sounds great. Tribal Session its

a nice "fluffy" tune. Peacemaker by Groupie Syndrome (another X-Dream side

project) kicks ass!. On CD2 the best tracks are the very weird Hallucinogen

"Beast" remix and Cydonia´s low tempo Narco Nympho. By the way "380 Volt" =

SHIT. 7/10

(it's not mixed though). DJ Anti is a well-known dj up here in Scandinavia,

he runs a record store and a label (Spiral Trax).

The album contains only scandinavian artists, mostly Swedes. It's very

progressive and hard and you should play it LOUD!!

All tracks are excellent!! (maybe I'm a little biased because I am from

Sweden myself ). This is exactly the kind of

trance that I love and want to hear when I go to parties. Well watch out

world, cause here comes Scandinavia!!!!!! =)

I didn't know what to expect from this group because it was completely unknown

to me but it was a very positive surprise!!! Some great songs on it, the music

sounds pretty dreamy and the first 3 songs have many breaks and they all have

long build-ups... But except the first 3 songs they'll work on parties for

sure!! Best tracks are 4&5, good to dance, but tracks nr 1,6&7 are also

Woooops! One of my all-time favourite albums. This is dark progressive psy

trance in its best appearance! These tracks are

obviously made for the dancefloor, but the also work at home. But you must

listen to it in a good sound-system and loud or

else you won't feel the magic. Lots of people will probably find this boring

and repetitive, but I don't think it is. There

are not a lot of sounds at the same time in the tracks but all the sounds

make perfect sense and builds up a precise pattern.

Just listen to tracks 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and you'll hear what I mean for

yourself! This album is a must for all psy trance listeners.

At least it's a good way to take a break from all Etnica, Hallucinogen and

Infected Mushroom stuff. This is not the same

music at all but in it's own way it's just as excellent as these artists!

I'm really looking forward to a sequel for this

album and more nice Nova Tekk releases! Rating 8.5/10

The Worst Goa-Head of all!!! There Are only 5 good

songs on it!(CD1:1,2,4&8 => CD2:6) And 1 very good song:

Intact Instinct (CD2, nr 8)!! Except these songs it is

pretty boring and it sounds alot like techno, and I don't

like Techno, so... I'm not happy with this CD but because

I have all the other Goa-Heads I just had to buy this one

too!! But if you don't collect them... Buy another piece

of plastic!!!

This is pretty minimalistic! "The Temple" Starts with some thudding, then it starts sounding like some deranged Mayian gods sacrificing people in a temple. Good track for stomping and will work well for the dancefloor!

"Stalking The Wild Controller" continues the madness and it is even more of a stomper, because it explodes midway and will knock you off you of your chair! Note that these tunes might sound boring, but listen to them repeatedly and they will mesmerize you!

Well, another album full of dark And progressive goa. But with the MOS twist.

A really good twist I must add, one that takes some time to get used to, but

once you're absorbed by the great atmospheric, uplifting and dark sounds, you

won't be dropping this one for a long time. MOS started with several numbers on

compilations. Numbers that some people will know are for example: Click, Lunar

Church, Xone, The Gates Of Karma and more... What's so good of this album is

the

building of the tracks. It has 3 moods. One of them is Psychedelic (2,5,7), one

is Dark and moody (1,4,6,8) and one is ambient (3). To make a long story short,

I like this album a lot. But hey, maybe Dark and Moody is really my style huh?

What the f*ck, man? Who thought this would be a good idea? Pubic hair sprinkles, nice touch you sicko, there is no way that I... Oh it's chocolate?

F*ck it, gimme two dozen.

If you sell cupcakes (not that sick sh*t above) and decide to open a business to sell your cupcakes and then decide once you've made those cupcakes and sold a bunch that on that same day you're going to close your business, well...I'd say that's not really a good business model. I don't care if they're the greatest cupcakes in the world you're still going to take a bath on that venture.

But that's what happened here. Furtive Records is a one off label, just a bunch of buddies getting together just to release this CD. Clearly they weren't in it for the long haul or take make sacks of cash. Maybe they make cupcakes and one day after an intensive bong session they said, "F*ck it let's make up a label and release an album and then shut it down. It'll be the most bad ass thing ever! And then we'll just give it away! Hells yeah!" After many bags of Doritos and a bunch of naps that's just what they did.

The artists are all the same guys. They did the art, the mastering...everything. And what they came up with was some twisted, psychedelic stuff. Music for the time where goa was well on the way out and psytrance was foraging an experimental new path. You've got swampy forest sounds, tribal percussion, and some groovy bass lines. The uh, moaning on Alien Babewatch...yeah I can't confirm that they didn't lift that from the Tommy Lee Pamela Anderson sex video. But if they did that's pretty good work for an album that is now licensed to drive in all 50 states. It's not the best album you'll ever hear, but for a one and done it will get you there psychedelically speaking. So they built a "label" released one album, and waited for cult status to roll in. Last time this thing sold on Discogs was 6 years ago. Mission accomplished gentlemen.

First Track is Plastomer 1. one of my old time favorite in general. its kinda

hard to explain. i love that electric synthline lead and all other melodies, i

like the kick, i love that tribal tom drum, and all those crazy background

samples!. its a blast on a dance floor, really good! and groovy!!!.

2nd Track is Plastomer 2. its almost the same as the first one, except of that

it seems KURU REdit the samples a bit. a bit slower then the first one, but

its still good!.

3rd Track is Plastomer 2 (radio edit). same track as Plastomer 2 just

Reorganized and edit.

4th Track is Vision of Mars. a beautiful ambient track. i like that bassline

that goes up and down, with in the background there are tribal drums and all

kind of effect. and there is a beautiful string of vocal choir (?) female,

lovly strings in general. listen to 4:50

very nice melody that follows the bassline. very good!.

well, if Plastomer 1 wont be here, this will be another avarge flying rhino

vinyl, but thanx to Plastomer 1 and Vision of Mars its a Kick ass Vinyl. i

think it worth buying.

This is some corny sh*t right here.

Everything that could make you think that nitzhonot can be some goofy sounding music is well represented here. Repetitive eye rolling samples, the rampaging up and down arpeggios, and the changes in direction. I heard someone describe nitzho as goa on speed. Maybe, but goa doesn't usually use the slow down tempo as a prominent feature. No, I would equate it to goa's flamboyant and much gayer cousin. This is full-on Patrick Stewart facepalm music as far as I'm concerned. Not Nitzho's proudest moment.

No I got it...Know what this is? A daycare run amok. The kids have tied up the adults and it's an endless loop of fart jokes , boogers on fingers, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates. How the f*ck can you take this organ grinder music seriously? I'd dropkick the monkey turning the crank on this sh*tshow if I didn't think PETA would sue me.

Well I found this cd in Greece. Its compiled by DJ Michael(Todra,

Atomic Lens and Sonichaos)...First track is a killer from the wellknown

Freeman, great bassline a awesome samples. Atomic Lens sounds a little

strange...they are trying to copying Pleiadians or something, but the don´t

manage that well, still its a ok track...Track 3 sucks, the melodies goes

wrong way, the sounds are not the best...Luminus track is cool. The typical

Luminus sound, but this time much harder = ).

Track 5 is called Inspector Gadget(Joke?)But its cool...in the beggining its

pretty silly but suddenly its becomming a killer..nice one!Track 6 is

ok...Track 7 starts with a very nice melody, it kicks as. The only thing i

don´t like that much is the bassline, but when you hear everything together,

the melody, the drums and so on its sounds great...the last track from

Oforia i don´t like it that much but overall a very nice cd for people that

likes melodic psy trance that is not ptzatzot or what ever you call it...

Nothing. Zippo. Big fat zero. I could not find a single track on this compilation that stuck with me. It's psychedelic trance with a techno spirit and you would think that with artists like Tim Schuldt and Cydonia there would be some engrossing tracks. Something evolving with twists and turns. Alas no. All of the tracks seem to drone on in an endless march towards the end of a cliff. I suppose it's ok for the first 30 seconds, but when you start looking to see how much time is left on each track it's not a good sign.

Keep it moving people, nothing to see here.

This is a mediocre CD... The first song is fast but ok with many 303-sounds...

After that you have 4 songs that are all the same fast style! But I mut say

song 4 stands out for me (really very fast with some cool melodies...!! Number

6-7 And 8 are different... Some more experimental stuff and not

dancefloor-orientated! I don't like song 6 And 7 much, but I think song 8 is

really fantastic Ambient!!

So best songs 1,5&8. I would give this CD about 7/10, so it could have been

As you can see this is a double cd...A very intrresting album from XIS.

There are all kind of styles in this album...Melodic, hard, psychedelic,

noisy goatrance and I am sure everyone will find something they like...My

favourite tracks on the cd.s are on cd 1....nr 2, 3, 6 and the best track on

the cd is nr 5, Klangwelt...so hard with a tweaked 303 and tribal

drums...awesome track, a real dancefloor killer in my opinion...anyway I

will give this cd 5.8/10

The compilation launches off with a remix of Cosmic Ascension by themselves.

A quality track, but nothing beneath the usual.

I've never been a fan of the stiff stuff from Xerox (& Freeman) and the track

featured here doesn't

suprise me even vaguely.

"Tripnotized" is a real killer, psychedelica at its best; a driving bass, a lot

of

layered beautiful noises and a floating melody. Yummie.

The MFG track featured here must be one of the most freaky song I've heard.

It leaves you spinning on the floor, slobbering in confusion. Nevertheless a

great track.

5th track boring - uncommented.

The second psychedelic thingie from Domestic; also very, very good.

"Per Plex" sounds like a debut track. Pretty good, strange I haven't heard more

from them though..

"Running horses" contains good elements, but gets a little boring due to lack

of variation.

A great psychedelic pseudo-ambient mix by Oforia rounds off this compilation

just perfectly.

You still hear the influences of MFG, but it's all more to dance now... Really

dance-stuff it's also pretty psychedelic... So enjoy this one!! Best songs

Well this is the 7th cd in the Transient collection, and it´s compiled by Jean

Borelli (Orion). There are 2 cds, both are the same exept that Jean has mixed

together the second cd into a mix cd.

How about the tracks then... well, Track 1. is very good I think, a bit dark.

Track 5. is also kinda good, Then the Track 6. from Bamboo Forest... well,

what can I say, this track is truly the best on this compilation, very hard

and evil wich I just LOVE on the floor!!! Then there is Track 7. from

Astral...hmm... not the best from Astral but, IT`S ASTRAL! =)

At last I´ll give the whole compilation a 7/10, it´s for sure a good

compilation worth to pic up.

This is Space Tribe?s best album. I never expected that Olli could write

tracks like that. Excellent drums and precursors and vocals in many

tracks. The rhythm is so good and the samples that he uses are so

trippy that when you insert this cd to your player you cant get in out

unlit it finish. The only track I hate is 6 because of the extension of

its vocals.

The best tracks are 2, 3, 4, 5.Not to forget that this cd contains an

diary for the year 2000.Excellent package as always?8/10

Review:

They better called this CD "The Power Of Erez" because it's awesome!! This is

almost the best CD I have!!! Most Of the songs are written by Erez alone or

with his Shidapu-friends, but there's one song that he wrote with Kessler...

And that song is Yihaaa!!!

All songs are awesome but Walk To Light And Diffusion are even better than

that!!! All songs (except Aquamarine) have more than 145 bpm so it's also

hard!! This Cd is really pure gold!!

Review:

I don't like this at all. Referred to as 'uplifting trance' I don't know

what's so uplifting about this? Lots of really

bad samples. I think he named the tracks after what samples he used, and

that says it all. Especially #5 (Sex Style) is

so bad. It sounds like Eyal Barkan (everyone heard of him, right) and maybe

if like that kind of easy psy trance you may like

it. But to me it's way to monotone and there are no interesting melodies at

all. According to me a fast BPM doesn't make

a good song alone, but that, and annoying synths is what this album is all

about.
