Looks like a lot time spend there Anoebis!!! Nice works....!!!
But where is Texas Fagott - Petoman's Peflett (2000) in the soumi experimental department (see u put Pilluminati Cunt Roll there)
Petoman was before Pilluminati
(and better imho)
well just a suggestion
ed: they might both deserve to be there!

hehe, thanks
this time I talked alot with people that like a particular style alot, before creating it, so that almost all is covered
@ Bahamut, the reason is pretty simple for me... If people are new into trance, and they hear about all those groups and genres etc, this will help them ALOT, like that terms will be much easier
also this may help people finding new kinds of music

i dont get it - if there is psy ambient/psy chill/psy downtempo branch, then why theres not-psychedelic branch for psy ambient/chill/downtempo
?
ah well, it's just to show everyone there is a huge branch as well with not psychedelic ambient, but it would lead me too far to make such a branch as well specifically for not psychedelic ambient

Nice work..
but, Space Tribe - Heart Beat = Dark Psychedelic Trance ???
Also I remember under the dark forest psychedelic trance you used to have Derango - Tumult album in the old version which is amongst
the most representative of this style IMO..

Yes, I forgot the Forest Trance style there, I just noticed it... Kluster - Big Fix and Derango will be my picks there... Also about dark psychedelic trance... I will change it into "mainstream" psychedelic trance, because it isn't really dark indeed, just noisy

Outstanding job, Anoebis! This new diagram is definitely more developped, more defined and more complete. Thank you for this nice teaching and congratulations!
I would like to ask you three probably stupid questions (sorry by advance), because I'm not a specialist, and I don't know if I understood clearly all the things on the tree.
1/If a goa trance album has been released in 2000, do you define it as old school or new school goa? For example, "To Sirius" from Ra, released in 2000 on blue moon prod., should I consider it as oldschool or newschool?
2/Do you think it might be worth to create a few under-branches inside the new school goa category? I ask this question because if, for example, I compare "Filteria - Heliopolis" and "Ethereal - Anima Mundi" (two new school goa albums), I think that both are really different, especially concerning their feeling, style and approach of the goa music. It might be possible to distinguish both. Or do you think it's useless and, on the contrary, we should regroup all the new school goa artists under one identity/genre?
3/I notice that you distinguish in the nitzchonot category, two sub-genres, called "uplifting" and "nitzchonot". I would like to ask you what's the difference between both terms, how do you distinguish both, because I heard them a lot of times to define the same music, and I'm completely lost now, I'm unable to make the difference.
